972 Golden Root for the broth!!!??? Really !!!???
the team is looking for ways for players not to join the event game. Thank you for saving me resources.

 

Start time for this (and most) event was midnight in New Zealand. I can cope with that. But I had lots of problems with getting frozen screens or the spinning-daisies-of-death. Finally at about 1am NZT I got ten 2 x 2s of the golden root in - I gave up on planting anything beside those - only to find that on logging in at 7am-ish that I had failed to plant anything. Hmmpth. Peeved with my now late start.

 

This is always an absolute fave for me. But the amount of crops required is... daunting. I keep saying, I'd rather have MORE steps (in this case, axe throws) but be able to really feel like something gets accomplished from each harvest. This is... discouraging to say the least! I do like the addition of the glowing jewels to the axes, but it seems even more random than ever, what it means to get dots on choices. I used to be able to figure it out pretty well. This round, I've only ended up with two bullseyes total out of nine rounds so far!

 

I too love this game and have just finished. I did think the requirements were pretty high but I sped things up with SG and SSG to avoid the boredom factor.
Personally, I found the occurrence of Bullseyes more frequent this time, even though I never got the one in one.
Please be a little more generous (ie more games for less crops) next time and I will be very happy.

 

As a newish member in this game(recently returned) all I can say is that I gave up before it started. I saw the amount of crops needed for this and gave up. I would've had to take out all my stables and workshops, use a lot of resources and log in constantly to be able to take part. Apart from the Maid season, there's hardly any event I usually take part in, I always find them daunting.

 

I enjoyed this event. I think the amount of time we have to grow the crops and the fact we can use 2 fields was ok for me. I choose which events I want to do when the FAQS come out! I will say the prizes in the star coin shop were disappointing for me so after I played the 26 mini games I decided to stop! Again my choice! I am VERY happy that the team did not try to improve this event
as most of us really love it just the way it is!

 

I agree with this. I am not a new player but more of a casual player so over the years it seems harder and harder to participate in the events due to higher and higher requirements of crops. If I do play the event I usually only get through about half of the tasks so do not get the better prizes at the end of the string of rewards, but I do enjoy some of the events like this one!!

 

Ingrid is always a fravorite of mine. Such a shame that I wasn't able to hit the bullseye in one try tho this time around. Yes the amount of event crop was high but I think the cloud row in itself was worth it. I always enjoy seing Ingrid's costume change as we throw more axes away!

 

I hadn't realized her costume changed, but I do try to match the heads/hilts/runes with her wardrobe
