Ingrid is back and throwing things around, watch for your head!

Same kind of mechanics this time around: brew some vicking broth, combine to make aces, throw and assess.

    Event crop:Event drop:Milling item:
    Golden Root

Time: 5 hours and 30 minutes
    Gives (2x2): 220 EP
Plantable on the Main field and Green Meadow only!
    Drinking Horn
    [IMG]
You will get these drops when harvesting your main field and green meadow from crops and trees only!
    Viking Broth
    [IMG]
    Ingredients: 60 x Drinking horns, 972 x Golden Roots
    Milling time: 15 seconds
It can be produced in the main and tropical Mills - Events feed tab!

The event itself will reward 2 full sets of givers needed for the cloud row if players dully complete the event.

Each player will get 1 Viking Broth for free to try the mini game. That means one less broth to mill! :)

    Numbers:

    Getting the cloud row
    23 mini games played
    Completing the event
    26 mini games played
    21384 Golden Roots
    1320 Drinking Horns
22 Viking Broths to mill +
    5m 30s of milling time
    24300 Golden Roots
    1500 Drinking Horns
25 Viking Broths to mill +
    6m 15s of milling time
    Prizes:
    2 Mighty Axe Collection givers
    2 William Pig givers
    1 Thunderous Help giver
    1 Cloud Row
    Prizes:

    2 William Pig givers
    2 Thunderous Help giver
    1 Cloud Row
    8 Barn Bills (BBs)
    1 Piccolo Wonder Box

Each axe throwing will reward Star Coins that can be spent in the Event Shop. Givers from previous Viking Saga are available as well as some Wonder trees and stables from both world too.

Tonnes of goodies is rewarded with each axe throw, making this event usally a lot of fun.

The second set of givers is quite good and could help older and newer players to gain levels!

The cloud row is quite good to, helping multiply givers' EP/TEP with a cooldown time of 12h:

Viking Saga Magic Stalk Row XII
    [IMG]
    Effect: 250% extra EP/TEP when harvesting givers for 2 hours, 2 x Crate O' Farm Supplies X
    Cooldown time: 12 hours
    Requires the three event items

Good luck everyone! Keep Ingrid happy and throw as many axes as you can! :D

Oh yay. At least she's not warbling! And they changed the blades from runes to purdy lights.

    Decent CR.

I wish I was going to have time to do this one properly. I'm going to try it on this farm and sewinglady's, but it's going to be messy as my time is limited...and yesterday went sideways for both my husband and me, so nothing got crossed off the to-do list and the first market is Saturday. Today is going to be really fun - we still have so much to do.

Thanks, Northy! For starting the strategy thread and drilling down the numbers for us!

Maybe use comfort fields, uncheck the animation and just click to the finish! ;) The amount of event crops is quite high, so that's 1 viking broth per harvest on both fields = 1 mini game each 4h20 or so. It won't take much time! :p

Thanks Nordais for the thread and numbers crunching! Even though the amount of crops seems high, we
have 2 fields to grow them on and 6 days to get it done!:music: I will attempt to do all 26 mini games and I do have a few Jack-o-gifts to help along the way! Reminder IF you have Howies to put them out to help you get the drops! Good luck and Happy Axe throwing!xD

Thanks Nordais for doing all the hard work for us. ;)

I'm also in and will probably use Comfort Fields to speed things up and use less SG and SSG, especially overnight, and then worry about the drops later. :p
    Good luck all! :inlove:

Well I tried to start farming this morning. So far the struggle is real. I think that if I can get this farm's second field seeded, I'll call it good. Work on SL's farm in a couple hours. Maybe by then things will be resolved.

    The event is bad
    Worst Event Ever.
    I'll ignore it.
    :p
    Edit: Finished!
    Cloud row ready!;)

(still trying to solve in one try......)

Edit II: From first time we had this event:Viking Broth
    Ingredients: 15 x Drinking horns, 290 x Golden Root
    Time: 20 seconds

Good bonuses from previous events have made it possible to save Super-Grow and now fortunately there are "only 3948 copies of it
And starting 00.25 our local time in Finland, getting from the Wheel 6h crops +1...

Luckily I got to watch the NHL final last night, then fell asleep all afternoon and just slept from 8pm until 11.50pm local time, so now I can use the bonus!

Good luck everyone, for me a "win" is if I easily get that best result, i.e. hit the center on the first try, this usually happens in this event with about 60% certainty, which I have already memorized for myself!

Thanks, again, Northy for the helpful details of the FAQs. This is one of my favorite events, but I shall skip it this go 'round.

To all my dear friends and neighbors, please do not send me drops, but pass them on to those participating. Wishing everyone a bullseye!

I've skipped the last few events, but I'm going to try this one. I like Helga's expression as she throws axes, and can usually get the bullseye by the fifth try. I don't plan to finish, but I am hoping to get the cloud row.

Any and all drinking horns will be greatly appreciated!

I managed to get a few harvests in on both farms by end of day. Haven't played any of the mini-games yet.

Tomorrow will be a complete wash - I'll be gone from 5:30 a.m. to around 2:30 p.m. (that's the optimistic estimate - every year we seem to get slower at unpacking and packing up the booth.) Then after that I'll be exhausted, so pretty much not doing any farming. The weather forecast is decent. Not going to be very warm - high of 70 Fahrenheit is expected, wind isn't supposed to pick up until late afternoon.

I thought there was no cloud row at first, because I didn't see it in the shop.
    I'm wiser now.
Started a day late (Covid again) but I will give it a go.
Good luck to the other players.

Today (Sat) I have all my crops and drops. I milled my broths and then when Ingrid started to throw her axe she froze!:cry:I was using Microsoft Edge browser! I did report to tech support no help there ,sooo I switched my browser to Firefox and was able
to complete the event and get my CR up and running. I am posting this just in case someone else might have the same problem!
To all my wonderful neighbors and friends I no longer need event drops so send them to farmers who may need them! Good luck and I hope Ingrid is kind to you all!:music:

Congratulations! That's a monumental task and what fun it must have been watching the fierce concentration on Ingrid's face as she aimed for the bullseye!

I have a question. Is there some strategy to getting a bullseye or even close to one? I tried the freebie and have been leisurely sowing crops and milling broth (averaging one a day as I'm not trying), and this morning's effort didn't even get me close to a bullseye after 5 throws. For each round, I select the option with the most dots, but still little luck.

You can definitely miss 1 dot out of the 15 total between all three options (head, hilt, rune) and still get the bullseye. I don't know where the cutoff is, I haven't had a chance to test it with 2 out of 15 missing to see if it still gets a bullseye. I'm not 100% sure but I think I might have failed it with 3 of the 15 missing. So if you don't have the 4 out of 5 dots on an item (or if you have more than one of those) definitely pick something else to try to get a better rating. The last guess is always a bit a dice roll whether you play the 4 of 5. Maybe someone else would know if missing 2 or 3 of the 15 is permissible?

To be honest, I am not that good at getting Bulls Eyes! BUT this time I did get 2 on the 1st go round xDNo rhyme or reason for me, just guessing and watching the little dots! Sorry I don't have a better plan but for me it is just playing the game and whatever happens, happens!:music:

Nope, just pure luck! And maybe you get one tossed your way after a few tries (I've always had the luck of getting the bullseye in one go).
