This breeding event is one of the easiest in a long time: players can get drops from breeding the right category (birds, amphibians & reptiles) but the can get drops from harvesting stalls on their fields too!

Thanks for starting the strategy thread, Northy!

I'm in on this farm and SL's!

We have a baby boom that lasts through part of Saturday. So all day Friday. Hoping to get this event all finished on Friday.

Lol Nordais, I just finished adding up the numbers myself in the FAQs! I should have come here first! DAHxD I surely need more coffee!
Thanks for the great thread and for the time you share with us! Good luck and I will be doing this event! I love the beachy cloud row!

May I add my thanks for all the hard graft you put in to make our farming life so much easier! Thank you Nordais! ;)

I love breeding events and even more so now that I have completed all those FSQs which took forever so I can please myself what I breed. I will, however, still wait to see if we get a Happy Discount Day that coincides with all the other breeding mini events, even though I have enough PF to do it without worrying about it! Like to save my resources whenever and wherever I can!:D
    Good luck all! :inlove:

Has anyone calculated how much power feed will be required? I always find this helpful.

I calculated 200 PF for each Sandcastle Building for a total of 600 PF. Sound right?

It is 1200 Power Feed (there is no announcement of Happy Discount Day yet).

Even at 1200 power feeds, I think the cloud row is worth it. Of course, newer players can't possibly do it whitout buying power feed. 800 power feeds for 20$ US means that for 1200 needed it would cost 30 bucks just for this! :eek:o_O

New players can try to get the needed drops from the bird/reptile/amphibian stalls instead and plaster them all over their lands. They have just 6 days to get the 200 drops of each, but it could be manageable for sure!

I think that just like when we all were "newer" players, there were many events that we were not able to do either because we did not have enough crops or in the case of breeding events, they may not have enough birds, reptiles or even amphibians to breed to even get to the point of needing Power feed. Have fun with your farm and eventually you too can pick and choose events that you want to do! Good luck to all!

Wowza, Northy, you did it again! Thank you for the details and the charts. Thanks to Zilver's recommendation to always keep the mill running at least one PF, I have enough stock, but like others, would welcome a HDD! I filled the breeding hall and have to remember not to collect until the event goes live later today. :D

One thing for newer players to consider is that the trend for rewards seems to frequently be better ones. So if you miss out on a good reward this week, then a better one is likely to come along sooner than later. I'm a relatively new player, but long time players often mentioned how much better rewards are now than in the beginning. If one can be patient and open all planting areas and build up a stock of items, (and ask for upgrades and wonder items during G&T), it will become more possible to complete a started event. For me, missing the final goal for the Season and many events when I began playing caused me to rethink my game strategy and I focus on the 'basics'. It took close to a year for me to get to a point where I can now finish most events, even if I begin late.

Wish everyone happy farming and a wonderful day. :)

Thank you, Nordais, for another detailed and beautiful chart.

This cloud row + HDD = i'm totally in ;)

    Wish everybody good skips!

PS: Anyone knows how many museums can we have?

  13. PrairieMaiden23

    PrairieMaiden23 Forum Great Master

The museums are specific to the areas of our farms. I have 3 on the Haunted Manor (max so far), 3 on the two Bahamarama giver fields (max up until the new one from the current event will make 4), and 4 on the mainland giver fields including the newest one just purchased and filled yesterday.

So 3 (MM), 4 (baha), and 4 (main).

PS: I'm about to plow through this event. Will be unable to wait for discount day since it falls during the RL market tomorrow.

The drop rate for the items from the animal stalls is not 100%. I got one feather from 8 cuckoo stalls. I'm not saying it can't be done but with two fields full of the other event crops, I will have to rely primarily on the breeding option.

You can also place animal stalls on the baha lands too, they give drops.

I accidentally collected my Flower Spray Arts and Mighty Movers and some other saved + items on my park, so I am having "instant stalls" and event is done.

I have plenty of PF so I did the very cute Mice in the Sunshine event! CR up and running and I was VERY happy all we needed to do was breed to get feathers, sprogs and scales and turn those in. There was NO barn items this time around!xDxD
