Carnival Queen + "Too Much Candy" Carnival Support Quest

This Carnival Queen Quest uses the 3 fields in Bahamarama.

This time around, the support quest is not necessary the best option. I've decided to combine both events in just one post to keep it simple.

Sweetheart Rose Time: 5 hours Gives (2x2): 200 TEP Plantable on the 3 tropical lands only.	Candy Basket You will get these drops when harvesting your crops and trees on the 3 tropical lands only!	Floral Candy Basket Ingredients: 518 x Sweetheart Roses, 30 x Candy Baskets Time: 15 seconds It can be produced in the main and tropical mills - Events feed tab!

The cloud row is quite good and will help players level up:

Effect: 7000 EP x Farm level, 7000 TEP x Baha level, 400% extra EP/TEP when harvesting givers for 4 hours
Cooldown Time: 48 hours
Requires the three event items

Each player will get one Floral Candy Basket to try the mini game. Depending of you objective, here are different scenarios with numbers:

The event shop is filled with many goodies that can be purchased with Star Coins. The latest Main land and Baha trees can be bought starting from 300 to 600 Star Coins each.

I'm in on this farm and SL's.

I'll have to get a head start tomorrow and Friday, as Saturday we hope to vend at the RL market - unfortunately, Mother Nature may have other ideas. Waiting for a more accurate forecast. Ugh.

Just double-checked the FAQ for the event. Nowhere does it mention if Magic Trees will give the basket drop item. Guess we find out tomorrow when the event begins.

I'm in but only on this farm! Thanks to those who helped me on my baby farms for last event but it is not going to be a regular occurrence, too much going on at once!

I do think the number of crops is high this time round, I checked the Support Quest at around this time last year and I am pretty sure it was much less - about a third of this one (though we all know my maths is suspect!).

At the end of How can I get more drops? It says IF you have a Magic tree you will get 1 basket. I hope that helps you!

 

Awesome chart, Northy. I saw the announcement before going to sleep last night and immediately thought, 'bet Northy has it all worked out by the time I awaken.' Sure enough, you came through once again ... now will we all dream of baskets whilst sleeping?

I'm not sure I will do this as I really don't want to tear up my Baha fields, but we'll see. I agree with Illy about the high number of crops...that's what put me off when reading the FAQ. I'm also not good at catching goodies, so is it worth my time when my catching skills are so lacking?

We only got one free spin one day this week, which is unusually stingy, maybe they were to make up for it!

Question for Northy, as the Supreme Cruncher of the Game Numbers:

Should I try to get to 50 games by doing the support quest, or just plant shorter term crops and harvest like crazy? I'm not thrilled at the high number of roses needed by the quest, but if it'll help in the long run I'll do it.

 

The Carnival Queen event and the "Too Mich Candy" side quest both require one event crop: Sweetheart Roses. The best is to do the "Too Much Candy" side quest, only the silver step of all four levels. It requires less event crops and drops and you'll have all the necessary Floral Candy Baskets that you'll need to get the cloud row!

I forgot to mention that this time around, the gold steps of level 2-3-4 are way off with their requirements: sooo many event crops and drops for far too few Floral Candy Baskets! But (yes, there's a but), once they are done, the diamond steps of level 2-3-4 are easy to do and gives lots of Floral Candy Baskets! So for players that want to play as much as they can to get tonnes of Star Coins, completing the side quest is a sure bet!

 

Does anyone feel like the float moves faster this time around? The goodies being thrown were a blur, and also seemed a bit smaller in size than in past carnival queen events, but that could just be me remembering it wrong. I'm just focused on keeping a sharp eye out for the star coins though (and my eyesight isn't sharp lol).

 

Nordais, i was one of the players that wanted tons of star coins, but i forgot to let the game developers know about that

Last time they did this event the rewards didn't seem to be as good or plentiful as before, especially with crates and SG. I got the same feeling after trying the free round earlier today.
