Please post your constructive comments, positive and negative, regarding the "Stories from the Tiki Bar" Event in this Feedback thread. We are looking forward to capturing your initial reaction to the event, as well as the final opinion after participating in the event.

Please be sure to bring arguments for supporting your statements, simple comments saying you like it or hate it will not help the Team understand what goes great, and what needs to be looked into, when planning future events.

The FAQ of the Event can be found here. If you have any questions, please use the General Issues section or the Technical Issues section for technical problems - this thread is for feedback only. Thank you for understanding.

We are looking forward to your feedback!

    Best regards,
    Your Farmerama Team

Loving this event. Requirements are high but it does state "Medium to High" so to be expected. :p

I like that we can breed anything to get the Tiki Cocktails. It is also great that we have a Happy Discount Day, Baby Boom and all the other associated events coinciding for 12 hours. Good for everyone. :)
Graphics, as always, are gorgeous. What's not to like? :inlove:

Just a point, if Tiki "Cocktail" is part of an event, how come the word Cocktail is censored in our IGMs? The AI censorship is just not working as it should, it does not serve any purpose IMHO. :music:

Initially I thought to skip the event, but after reading players' comments in the Strategy, I decided to try and see how far I could get. Thanks to the generous rewards from recent events, I'd built up a fair number of breeding critters. My PF stock was sufficient to breed enough critters for the needed tiki cocktails. I really enjoyed seeing the event window unfold as we filled tasks. Much appreciation to the talented design team for the colorful and charming panorama. The attention to details such as the frangipanni and the very dexterous octopus who manages to balance a tray on its head whilst holding and mixing drinks, is quite remarkable. :D

The one thing that I missed on my initial reading of the FAQ was how/when the CR and givers were rewarded. After completing 150 tasks, I was quite perplexed and numerous times reviewed the charts L/R/M to no avail. Finally discovered these came from the Crate O'Tiki Bar! Maybe a future iteration could highlight that part ;)

I had forgotten about this, but I never had to open that crate, I just went into the "empty" cloud row section, clicked on the cloud row to add its givers and voilà! It was filled and ready to use and I was none the wiser! ;)

The event was quite demanding for one breeding event that doesn't gift a new kind of neon stable, I have a collection of Neon parrots and hamsters and do not see the "fun" in getting another one. Also, I find that the cloud row with + 1 feather boa should have been rewarded through a FSQ instead: it makes no sense to reward new players with that when they still have a long way to go to unlock it, same for future players who will never have the possibility to get it thus denying them the opportunity to get this bonus.

I did take advantage of the Baby Boom and Happy Discount Day to finish one breeding FSQ, that's a good thing since there was no limitation to specific kinds of breeding, that's a big plus in my book.

I felt this event required a lot of resources, for the prizes awarded, although I did the event from existing stock, other than a few squirrels :) I am concerned that a lower-ranked player would struggle to do this event for a number of reasons. In summary, I don't believe the prize would be worth the effort unless I were in the lucky position of having the donations in stock.
