This event will ask players to grow the event crop on the Main field, get drops from the Green Meadow.

This event requires bahamarama tree fruits (cocoa beans) or bahamarama crop (vanilla) to mill the chocolate or vanilla shakes to feed the critters. Players cannot participate if these two items are not activated in the Golden Banana Temple.

    Event crop:Event drop:milling item 1:Milling item 2:
    Power Bar Plant
    [IMG]
    Time: 6 hours
    Gives (2x2): 240 EP
Plantable on the Main field only!
    Drinking Glass
    [IMG]
You will get these drops when harvesting your Green Meadow when harvesting your crops and trees only!
    Chocolate Shake
    [IMG]
    Ingredients: 108 x Power Bar Plants, 6 x Drinking Glasses, 4 x Cocoa beans
    Time:
    15 seconds
can be produced in the main and tropical mills - Events feed tab!
    Vanilla Shake
    [IMG]
    Ingredients: 216 x Power Bar Plants, 12 x Drinking Glasses, 6 x Vanilla
    Time:
    15 seconds
can be produced in the main and tropical mills - Events feed tab!
The two critters that will need feeding will alternatively appear each day until the last day of the event where both will appear.

The cloud row is a good one:

Fabulous Fitness Farm Magic Stalk Row
    [IMG]
Effect: 8000 EP x Farm level, 65% extra EP/TEP when harvesting all including breedings for 2 hours, +1 extra revenue when harvesting mainland "other" crops for 2 hours
    Cooldown time
    : 22 hours
    Requires the two event items

As you may have realized, the Chocolate Shake requires less event crops & drops than the Vanilla Shake. This means that there's different ways to get the cloud row or complete the event. Here are the numbers depending on different scenarios:

Feeding a Chocolate Shake to Klaus will raise the main taskbar by 1 point
Feeding a Vanilla Shake to Dolly will raise the main taskbar by 2 points

    Only using Klaus critter
    Feed: Chocolate Shake
    Only using Dolly critter
    Feed: Vanilla Shake
    Mix of both critters
Feeds : Chocolate & Vanilla Shakes
Objective: cloud row + givers (100 Chocolate Shakes)

    10800 Power Bell Plants
    600 Drinking Glasses
    400 Cocoa beans
    mill 100 Chocolate Shakes
Objective: cloud row + givers (50 Vanilla Shakes)

    10800 Power Bell Plants
    600 Drinking Glasses
    300 Vanilla
    mill 50 Vanilla Shakes
Objective: cloud row + givers (50 Chocolate Shakes + 25 Vanilla Shakes)

    10800 Power Bell Plants
    600 Drinking Glasses
    200 Cocoa beans
    150 Vanilla
    mill 50 Chocolate Shakes
    mill 25 Vanilla Shakes
Objective: complete the event (113 Chocolate Shakes)

    12204 Power Bell Plants
    678 Drinking Glasses
    452 Cocoa beans
    mill 113 Chocolate Shakes
Objective: complete the event (57 Vanilla Shakes)

    12312 Power Bell Plants
    684 Drinking Glasses
    342 Vanilla
    mill 57 Vanilla Shakes
Objective: complete the event (57 Chocolate Shakes + 28 Vanilla Shakes)

    12204 Power Bell Plants
    678 Drinking Glasses
    228 Cocoa beans
    168 Vanilla
    mill 57 Chocolate Shakes
    mill 28 Vanilla Shakes
Once a player feed either Klaus or Dolly, players will receive a random prize. Klaus may give out Star Coins and Dolly Gear Coins:

    Feeding Klaus
    Chocolate Shake
1 random prize from this list:

    2000 EP x Farm level, 2000 CC x Farm level, 5 x Star Coins, 4 x Super-grow, 2 x Suzy's Super-grow, 1 x "Orion" Wonder Tree, 1 x "Crete" Baha Wonder Tree, 1 x Crate O' Buffs
    Feeding Dolly
    Vanilla Shake
1 random prize from this list:

    10000 EP x Farm level, 5000 CC x Farm level, 10 x Gear Coins, 4 x Power-feed, 6 x Suzy's turbo-mulch, 1 x Party ticket, 4 x Farm Coins, 1 x "Kalahari" Wonder Stable, 1 x "Namib" Baha Wonder Stable, 1 x Harvest Helper Coupon (3 hrs)
There's a event shop where Star Coins and Gear Coins can be exchanged for prizes. There's a second set of givers that can be bought: Mr. Farm giver for 30 Star Coins and Jazzercise for 30 Gear Coins.

These numbers are quite high for harvests on just one field, event is players just go with the cheapest option to only feed Klaus, but the rewarded cloud row will be a tremendous help for future harvests.

    Good luck everyone!

    Edit:

From Chamomile* post in the general issues section, using the Chocolate Shake will raise the meter by 1 point, while using the Vanilla Shake will raise it by 2 points.

Thank You Nordais, you really are so very helpful taking the time to figure all the numbers and then to post them
in a way that we all can understand!:inlove: I have decided to just mill the 113 Chocolate drinks and play Kraus on the 3 days he is available. And IF on day 7 I have extra crops and drops I will mill some vanilla and give dolly a drink! xD Good luck and happy farming!
Reminder: put your Howies out on Green meadow to get drops!;) if you have any!

Thanks, as always Nordais, for giving us a helping hand with the numbers. ;)

I have no idea how I am going to tackle this, feed them as I go along or see how many crops I can manage and do it all at once but I am definitely in! :music:
Hey, you talking to me Sanddollar15? xD

I'm skipping this event, because I have a lot of stables and wonder trees on my main farm that I don't want to tear out. Including a just-won Bald Cypress tree from the Carnival event. :)

Good luck to those who are doing it!

I will combine the vanilla and chocolate shakes as I would like a 2nd set of givers. Let's all hope we get farmwheel bonuses!

Wow, Nordais, you do not cease to amaze us with your charts!

I'm definitely in and i intend to do just like sanddollar15, because feeding Klaus alone will be quite an ordeal :oops:xD

Good luck to all those participating!

PS: For 3 star coins we can bye in the shop 2 gear coins 100 times

Thanks for making sense of the FAQ, Northy!

And for the reminder about the Howies, SandDollar!

And I'm torn. RL is a tad crazy for me at the moment and it's not JUST the RL Farmer's Market, family stuff on both sides. Ugh. And we're leaving for Phoenix next Wednesday, as part of that "stuff" and so if I do this event, I have to finish it by end of day Tuesday.

This farm really needs that CR! So I'm thinking I'm going to give it a whirl on this farm and SL's.

Per @Chamomile* post in the General Issues section, the shakes' contributions to the progress meter are either 1 point (Chocolate Shake) or 2 points (Vanilla Shake). I've rebalanced and corrected my original post.

Phew! How do you do it, Northy?! Even when I don't intend to do an event (this one as well as the other new one), I have to come and read your FAQs - truly a work of art. As others mention, you really have a gift in breaking down the basic FAQ and providing a straight-forward plan.

I wish everyone success in their efforts...I shall skip this event as well...so please don't send me drops for either event. :)

Right. I have read and understoodish Northy's beautifully crafted outline. I have worked out begonia fits the time left for drops and have them planted, watered and manured. On the Main Field. o_Ops. OK, now on the Meadow as well!xD

helpful hint for non-english speakers : 'this' is singular - the plural is 'these' : this item or these two items...
(I am trying to be helpful,
    not just a smarty-pants!)

Thank you for pointing it, made the correction just so that players who are translating things automatically are not misled. This is something I knew. just that 95% of everything I type in the writting box gets underlined in red and at some point it gets too much red for my won eyes (who, incidendly get red too!). :p

Just checking that you realise that you don't get drops from the main field, you just plant there. All drops come from crops and trees on Green Meadow. ;)

For each Chocolate Shake fed to Klaus, it rewards 1 x step towards the Progress Bar.
For each Vanilla Shake fed to Dolly, it rewards 2 x steps towards the Progress Bar.

Thanks @Nordais for such a detailed strategy thread.

One of the few events (in our entire 12 years of playing) that I'll probably miss, I already noticed earlier that I/we don't really care about the prizes and when the highlight of everything is the family reunion IRL, then WE DON'T need NEIGHBOR GIFTS, give them to others and even though officially everyone should tell you this themselves, just believe it, it's true, i.e. GIFTS FOR OTHERS:

Nothing else and in the morning towards the family reunion, the cousins' family reunion.

Klaus is one step only but feeding him gives you two gifts versus Dolly giving one for two steps. Hope this makes sense. Of course you can only feed every other day either way.

They do not give same gifts. Dolly's EP and cc gifts are over 2xbetter and she gives 10 gear coins instead of 5 star coins, wonder stables vs wonder trees etc.
I would say it is good to donate both of them :)

I have reached 70/113 so I think I am on track. I may continue after I finish, depending on how many of each coins I have and how many prizes I still want. :)
