The Dicemoor Chronicles

This a complexe event to understand, lots of things going on which are linked together.

First, this event will go on for 13 days:

Starts: Thursday, 17th of July at 14:00 CEST (UTC+2)
Ends: Wednesday, 30th of July at 22:00 CEST (UTC+2)

The event consists of 2 event crops, 1 event tree, 1 event animal pen, 1 event animal food and 1 event drop.

Players are limited to 20 dice games per day. Each dice game requires 10 Dicer's Brews, so you can use up to 200 Dicer's Brews per day.

Completing a dice game will unlock a prize or a bonus for that specific dice combo and it will last 30 minutes. Playing the dice game will be best before harvesting.

This time around, there are 2 bonus tokens that can be played before the dice game:

Bonus Die: adds 1 die to every roll for 1 dice game (activate before play to take advantage for the entire dice game) Extra Roll: give 1 more roll for 1 dice game

Each day, players will get 1 of each bonus token. Players needs to log in for them to be booked.

The event crops cannot be resowed once harvested. They can be won playing the dice game. Since the amount will vary depending on the results of the dice games, it would be best for players to sow them on a 2x2 field.

There is 80 levels in the Main Rewards' chart that will be automatically collected once the required amount is located in the players' inventories.

These numbers do not take into account the amounts of the two event crops and event tree fruits needed to mill the required Mock Cuca feed to advance in the event.

It is impossible to know if this can be achieved at all, it all depends on the prizes/bonuses players can get with their dice game.

As pointed out by illy1996, each player will be booked at the beginning of the event: 1 Mock Cuca feed, 1 Mock Cuca Cottage, 4 Mock Graviolas Trees, 10 Dicer's Brews (enough to play 1 dice game), 5 Bug-eyed Shrubs and 5 Swampy Drakes.

EDIT #2:

The+1/+2 bonuses won while playing the dice game are booked into inventory, players must chose to activate them to use them.

 

Well, you have really outdone yourself this time, Northy! How you have managed to make sense of this, I am absolutely amazed! Kudos - and thank you !

Those are truly scary numbers but, as you say, maybe, just maybe the dice will be loaded to give us enough bonuses to complete the whole game.

I am not sure if you have noticed but I am sure we get something credited to our account at the start including a Mock Cuka Feed, 10 Dicer's Brew, a tree and another item. I can't really identify them more specifically.

I will do my best to try to understand what I am doing at each step and get as far as I can while continually referring back to your post here!

Unfortunately, the FAQ is missing some info.
For example: The first 20 tasks only require 6000 Bug-eyed shrubs, not 61300.

I check and that was on the French FAQ, adding all. I tought it was crazy too but with all the bonuses from the dice games, who knew... That will make it better, for sure! Gonna change numbers now.... ugh...

I think the FAQ is mixing both the Mock edition of things (ie for the event) and the "normal" stuff that will be left after the event. That is why I was so confused this morning. We'll see what comes out of it tomorrow I guess...

I'm also wondering if the real Cuca Cottage will count toward the cumulative total or not. We'll probably see some FSQs for these new tree and pen.

Wow! Thanks Nordais, and Chamomile for all your hard work! It is clear as mud now but at least we have some idea of what we need and how to start! Good luck to all and I hope the drops are good and the Dice roll in our favor!

 

This is a mix between the "Pixel Heart" event and the "3 Seeds' Potions" type of event. Players will need to use their 100% Tree & Stall Bonuses in the gold slot to make good progress!

Just to let players know, it seems possible to win more event items depending on the dice combo you get. From what I can make out, a yellow Cuca's Cottage upgrade can be won with getting the 4 of a kind combo with 4 x dice #1. Add to that the the first time a combo in unlocked, there's a special prize too. For that said 4 of a kind combo with dice #1, it seems to be 2 base Mock Cuca's Cottages.

 

The FAQ does helpfully tell us "How does the third half work?"

 

I got up at 4 am this morning and looked at that incomplete FAQ, shook my head and went "nope". Northy, YOU have changed my mind. Okay, I'm in. But the internet in this motel is "icky" so I cannot start the event until tomorrow evening...so I'm going to be behind a bit...but I'll figure out a way to catch up.
The good news is that we have two weeks. The bad news is that I'm gone the whole first week.

We drove almost 700 miles today. DH had me drive from Pocatello to Ogden - he said he got a leg cramp. He took over after that...something about rush hour traffic.

Tomorrow is another almost 700 mile day...so now you know my itinerary. Wishing everyone a good start to the event tomorrow!

I don't think you'll be missing much for the first day. The most important is to get those 200 drops per day and play the dice games each day. With MM being opened too for the entire time, I'll be using 100% crop bonus for sure!

 

Thank you Northy and Chamomile for doing all the hard work from making this a tough event to one that is more do-able! I didn't read the FAQs as the number of donations being accumulative, not really made clear.
I am a lot more positive about doing this event now.

Edit: I didn't even get enough drops for the full 20 games but out of 13 games played, I won:

14 Mock Graviola Trees (plus 3 Upgrades)
5 Mock Cuca Cottages (plus 1 Upgrade)
84 Swamp Drake Seeds
Plus actual plants which come off the total of donations for main game.

This is definitely fun so far!

 

Since we cannot resow the event crops, it is best to use 2x2s for the whole event? Or would we get to a point where we have enough and can use 1x1s? Sorry I'm still getting the hang of this. Lots to take in and it's confusing being based with different aspects in baha vs moonlight.

*edit Also, is the only purpose of the event crops and event tree fruit to feed the mock cuca cottage? Or are they donated in some other capacity?

 

You are correct, the two event crops and event tree fruits are used to mill the event food. With the new post in the FAQ thread, event food items will be kept and will be used ont the normal MM stall (that's a really good news).

They are also important for the 20 steps prizes, the numbers there seems to be linked to how much of each we harvested and not how much we keep in inventory. This means you can use them as much as you like.

Regarding the plot size, it's impossible to know how much seeds you'll win with the dice games. I won't be taking the risk of not having enough to sow to get to the end. We need to harvest at least 2500 Bug-eyed Shrubs to get one cloud row and 4000 Swampy Drakes to get the second one. If you're using 1x1 with CAC only, tha means you need to win 625 sowable Bug-eyed Shrubs and 1000 sowable Swampy Drakes. Some dice combos offer 24/48/66 sowable event seeds. If I were you, I'd stick to 2x2 untill you can unlock the two cloudrows.

 

Thank you, Northy! By using them as much as we want as you said, do you mean only for making feed? Do the mock cucas go towards any points or prizes in the event? Thank you so much for clarifying things, I'm always lost at first till I get into the swing of it.

 

The 4 event items: Bug-eyes Shrubs, Swampy Drakes, Mock Graviolas and Mock Cucas count for unlocking prizes in the main event tasks listed in the men on the right side of the "play dice" screen. The Mock Cucas are not used in anything from what I can see, but the are useful to unlock the real Graviolas trees & uprades + real Cuca's Cottages + upgrades that will permanently stay after the event.

 

There is 10 games Dise, I got 141 drops, Understag that I have 20 games a day ended 24.00/00.00 CET.

Where I get those +10 games? It is NOT mil product this time to get Dice game ?!?!?!

 

No, the dice game requires event drops (Dicer's Brew) that you can only get from crops and trees on Bahamarama plantation only.

Good news for everyone, the +1/+2 won in the dice game are booked into a player's inventory, they don't get activated right away! This will certainly help create great big harvests!
