at first glance it seems pretty complicated, there's event plants and event trees and event animals and real trees and real animals and it took me forever to find the mock cuca is a moonlight item and not a bahamarama thing like the rest

this is one of those events that I start hoping for the best and probably realise at the end that i've overlooked something

 

This is only day 1 BUT for me I am not liking how random getting the seeds we need to plant is...what happens if I can't get enough seeds to complete the requirements after playing for 13 days?? I also am not fond of not being able to use the dice mini game for such a long period of time after playing the 20 allotted games. It seems like such a waste of time if you still have drops to use and you are now locked out for at least 20 hours! Anyway, just my thoughts, hopefully we will all reach our goals!

 

I love the graphics, I love the dice game, but I do not like running out of seeds and waiting for the possibility that we might get more by playing the dice game depending on the luck of the draw/toss, then when our allotted number of dice games are up we have to wait 20 hours to continue without seeds. If not for the seeds being given randomly - or not at all - and the time constraints on the dice game, this event would be a lot more enjoyable.

 

Dice are harder to see compared to the game with the weasel. The menu of the outcome-choice doesn't show the value.

 

Overall I am enjoying the newness of this event. At first it appeared quite confusing, but once into playing it, it's fairly straightforward. Things I like: both crops are the same time, harvest bonuses go to inventory and not immediate start, harvest bonuses stack, the new look of the dice, and the overall graphics, strategic planning for new tree fruits and new animals, plus the use of MM fields and thus a two week long MM. Things that could be better: only playing 20 games a day, random amounts of seeds, and drops only coming from one field. I also am fairly sure that by the end of two weeks I will bored with this. I think it would have been better to have a one week event, with lower number of tree fruits and animals needed, and no minimum on the games we could play - in short, like the other seed searcher events have been structured! I don't mind that we can't resow the seeds we grow - that makes it different to other events - but then to limit how many times we can try to get seeds... it's just a bit tedious. overall, however, it's good!

 

The 'lock-out' timer has reset, shutting me out for a whole 'nother day! When I did my twenty tries yesterday, it said I was locked out until midnight Friday NZT, and I come back early Sat morning and I am Now locked out until Midnight Saturday NZT! (I didn't think New Zealand was that important, that you would use Our clock!)

Now I can see why this is a fortnight event - I am locked out every other day!

So here's what is happening.
I have used today's 20 spins. The lock-out timer is counting down as if I only have to wait nine hours - Midnight NZT (1400 CET). But then it will extend the wait by 24 hours. But that is not true! I will get more spins at 10am NZT tomorrow which is 0000 CET.

To summarize: Do not be worried by the number on the timer, just wait patiently until when you get the free extra dice/extra spin combo and you will know the 20 spins are available - your first login after 00.00CET

 

In short I love this game. New angles on pre-used things ( dices, seeds for example ) and a bit of planning and strategy. I think it will be ok to complete in two weeks

 

I grew up reading the books by Monteiro Lobato. Cuca was part of my childhood!!! I can't say enough about how this is heartwarming for me!!!
OH, please let the Cuca cottage stay... next, get us the Saci!

 

Things I didn't like: How confusing and difficult it LOOKED like it was going to be. The dice should have been dots instead of numbers. It would have been great to see the value of each combo.

Things I liked: The dice game is always one of my favorites. the moonlight fields being used, but not ALL of them, so we could still get our regular crops and animals done. Next time if we have an event like this, I will know how it goes.

Things I loved: Oh my stars, the fact that everything sort of auto collected itself. I'm the WORST when it comes to remembering to mill something at the last second, or turning in my silver coins for the givers, etc. This is always like a little surprise when I harvest. And it's WONDERFUL

 

Although I was a little apprensive about this event after seeing the FAQs, but, having a lot of help from some of my learned farmer friends - and a few of my mistakes along the way, I have really enjoyed it. I like the new style dice once I got used to them and overal the mechanics of the game worked very well. I like that the drops could be obtained from any crops and we could decide what we chose to get them - and no milling to get them either (a big bonus for me!). Being a two week event gives everybody a good chance to finish the event.

I liked that we were using Baha mainly for the event, having reached Level 800, my stock of Baha crops and animals is pretty reasonable and that left my main fields to build up stocks there.
All in all, the perfect event for the summer!

 

I am enjoying this game. It requires some strategy and some luck. I really liked the extra dice and bonus rolls! Thanks Farmerama Team!
