How to use vacation mode from Tree of Wisdom?

    Hi all!

    I'm going on vacation for two weeks starting August 1st. I have enough stars to buy the Vacation spot from the Tree of Wisdom? But how do I use it? Can I toggle it on/off? Can I set it for specific dates? And can it be used more than once?

    Thanks in advance for any advice and help you can give. :)

    Hi rivak!

    According to the FAQ for the tree of Wisdom:

    Farm vacation


    Go on vacation for up to 4 weeks 2 times a year, without losing your neighbours.

    Activate vacation mode in the game options, and you'll keep your neighbours even after your 4 weeks of inactivity

    Once activated you can not turn it off.

    Crops can still turn to weeds but trees and animal pens will be waiting for you when you return.

    Oh, forgot to add you can activate vacation mode in the game settings.

    Crops no longer go to weeds. FAQ hasn't been updated since that change was made.
