So on my first go, the "free" one that we are given at the start, I actually think this dynamic is a little improved, but we'll see if that holds true as they get harder... the FAQ was abysmal, most likely because it was a LOT to explain. I don't know why they didn't just leave well enough alone, but perhaps as we go I'll continue to like this better. I do think the amount of crops needed for one round is a bit offputting. Overall, however, this appears to be a decent event. As always, I like the chance to choose prizes both on the board and in the shop. and the graphics are even better than normal for this event ! edit at several days in - still enjoying it, but allowing for crops on two fields with (I feel rather stingy) drops on only one field is creating an imbalance. I understand that the event is two weeks long, but if players are willing to do things to speed up their crop growth, then the drops should keep up...

I do not understand the upgrades. I have (on my oldest farm) played a number of games and haven't figured out what makes the level go up. I have never gotten to the one feature. I have about 73 stars and feel that getting to the over 600 stars is impossible.

Just play the mini game and get "ball upgrade" (ball with yellow arrow). Do not claim prize until the big ball get in highest level and you'll get best prizes. You can see possible prizes clicking ! on top left of big ball. Each mini game gives usually max 13 star coins. This is long event, so there is plenty of time to grow event plants.

Edit: Some mini games give more than 13 star coins.

I keep getting "ball upgrade" on the field (the soccer ball with the arrow) but I dont see where we can use it. from what I can tell it is useless. The button above where you can claim your prize is always grey and cant use an upgrade. ???

You can see the upgrade level on the big soccer ball (Stage X) on left side of your player. Clickling ! on that ball you can see which prizes you can get on that stage.
The button above is for pumps, which you can use to upgrade your stage without playing a level. If you get stage 9, you'll get one pump among stage prizes. You do not need even claim stage 9, pop-up will show prizes during mini game, when you hit last upgrade ball.

I'm having issue with the drops. Harvesting amarath in main farms gives me 40 club flags while harvesting ixora in Bahamarama gives me 0. Mind you I had Howie donut for ixora and 2 Mighty Mower as buffs. Is everyone having the same issue?

456farmer123 Bahamarama don't give drops, only the main farm.

Do you use 2x2 fields for amaranth? You should have 1x1 fields, which give much more drops harvestin amaranth.
Mighty movers do not help with drops, it gives +1 animal from your stalls. Stalls do not give any event drops.

I could say I have issue with drops, but it is just my own choice. I've been growing thousands of event plants, sometimes even overnight using harvest bonuses from wheel and from my "storage". Now I have longer crops during night, but much quicker than amaranth.

I use 1x1 fields and Suzy's grow, boosting it from 4 amaranth to 7 amaranth per field and the drop is 40 Club Flag. Usually I can get 100+ drops of event items but not this event

I just harvested the foamy finger grass and that gives me 33 Club Flag o_O

Are you planting Aramanth on the main field? The Green Meadow does not give drops. :music:

I have gotten several of the soccer ball with arrow's (upgrade).. how do we use these? I dont see where it has applied or accumulated. I have seen the pump upgrade at lvl 9 but not the balls we collect on the field.. what are they for?

The soccer ball with the arrow adds a level to your ball (you can see that on the event screen where you start with a deflated ball with a stage 0 mark). The ball can go up to level 9 (so collecting 9 soccer ball with arrows, ie playing 9 mini games). You can claim some prizes once you have collected at least one upgrade. When you reach level 9, it will automatically give you set prizes and your ball will go down to stage 0.

If you fail to complete a mini game with your five tries, your ball will deflate. If you have won an air pump you'll be asked if you want to save your inflated ball or not.

The best way is to let your soccer ball reach level 9, it will give you 3 character tokens that can be used to purchased the base giver and its upgrades in the Star Coins / Token shop.

I have played approximately 84 balls/Fan Goodies, I have got the EP items with all their upgrades, so happy with that. :p

I didn't find the FAQs very helpful - I went to the German Forum and they seemed as much in the dark as us so not just this Forum. I gradually worked out upgrades and stages as time went on but really just played on instinct.:wuerg:

I am not sure how the FAQs can be simplified, maybe listing each stage of the event.

I liked that the event was over two weeks and that we could do as much as we wanted/could to get the prizes we wanted. I liked the prizes and bought most of them. It is good to have items that require fewer Star Coins so we can finish them at the end of the event. :)

I didn't like the mini-game at the start but it grew on me. I think this would have been more fun if we had a clearer idea how to proceed. :music:

In addition to this English FAQ does not have the field design for levels/team in the right order (some other forums do). The levels for team bunny are mixed with the levels for other teams and it is no longer possible to say which level is which field.

A lot of trial and error with Claim button losing levels due to unclear FAQ.

Personally I do not like this new changed mechanic.

Minuses: Unclear and confusing FAQ, drops are lagging behind while not using any crop booster bonuses, too much crops required for one game, no room for error because of crops and drops requirement.

Pluses: Very good EP decor if fully upgraded.

As many people have already said, this event is confusing and poorly explained, and drops are very bad.

I think it would have been an awful lot less confusing if the same mechanics had been presented differently. Ball upgrades are not a normal thing for football games, and the unclear thing was if it was better to collect the upgrades or cash them out. If instead it had been presented as a football season, with winning 9 matches in a row as winning the whole season and losing a match meaning getting knocked out (unless you had a game pass), I think it would have been an awful lot clearer.

That's not always the case. A lot of people have instant amaranth, in which case it's best to use comfort fields and you get 1 pretty much guaranteed drop per super grow (plus a whole lot of amaranth which is useful for events which need crop donations).
