I'm still around as well. But these days almost never on the forum again. Just like BP wished for.

Mainly play by my self. I'n not a fan of writing/talking in Britisch English either. I ditched facebook/TT/Insta, because of the obvious, so that is no longer a option as wel.
It is way less fun playing like this. I miss the juichtopic, koffiecorner etc. In English it is just not the same.

I do hope you guys are all ok.

That looks delicious, reminds me of festive dinners on birthdays. Pancakes or fries. My sister and me were given the choice for dinner on our birthdays. Only the pancakes would be thinner. We were looking forward to that because it only happend twice a year.

I too am not Dutch but habalala was a dear friend and sweet neighbor! It broke my heart when he told me of his illness. I miss him everyday and think of him often! He was a very kind and sweet man, and I am very blessed and happy I got to know him!:inlove::inlove:

I'm not from the Netherlands, and I was one of the lucky ones who had the chance to know Habalala. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend. I was deeply saddened when he told me about his illness and wished me a speedy recovery. Unfortunately, I received the sad news: Life is cruel.

I'm here every now and then. Welcome back! We all miss the Dutch forum but we do our best in this little corner.
I haven't been a on my farm a few days.
Decided to skip the events, so I harvest once almost everyday. Do not have the time to visit the forum often.

    *Edit
How is everybody? I have a day off tomorrow. Time to do an autumn cleanig. Too much stuff in my house. Going to bring a bunch to the shriftshop.

I still play, but not nearly as much as I used to, not spending money as I used to either, yes because the lack of our own place. I dislike the English forum( not the individual people) and being forced to write in English, really mis the dutch one.
I am contemplating trowing in the towel, just like many others.

Now, that's a festive breakfast! Looks really nice!
Going to buy a new mobile phone today, the present one died.
    But first, enjoying this breakfast.

*Edit 02-11-2025 so I don't get a "double post" warning

Took a peek at the Dutch forum out of nostalgia.
I miss a lot of that heartwarming/funny/serious chatter here.
    It is so quit here.
I'm here a few times due to work and now I'm also looking for another job.
My body and mind can't handle the broken shifts anymore.
Work in the morning and evening, next day the same, get up at 5:45, back in bed at midnight. I need some time to clear my head before I go to sleep, I'm often at home around 22:45.
I love my current job, lovely colleagues, that is not the problem.
I need regular 8h shifts so I don't have to work 6 days a week a lot of the time to get enough hours for a normal salary each month. I need to be able to have a social life.

Oh my, looks a little like a rant of complaints, that not the intention.
Like I sad, I love my job and hate to leave. Choices...

I wish you all a pleasant sunday. with a lovely breakfast.
For me it will be porridge, I like that sometimes.

Thank you very much, I will.

I got a new job, starting in januari. I will work three days one week, four days the other.
I will have more time for myself, work every other weekend, so not almost every weekend anymore.
No more workweeks of 8-10 days to make the same amount of hours due to broken shifts.
I'm going to work in an elderly home on a closed unit for people with dementia.

No superfood discount in the breeding stables tomorrow?

I hope you will enjoy your new job and more time for yourself.
