:inlove:It is very very nice to get animals and their upgrades that I don't have , so thankyou so much!:inlove:
Also, the layout so I can see my progress of what I need/have to donate is top-notch.

Agree with the above! I am seeing a trend of making it possible for newer players to obtain things they do not have, which is lovely, or for long term players to get an additional or upgrade. This is much appreciated on both levels! And in general, I do feel that event dynamics are becoming a little easier to navigate! As always, graphics are outstanding!

As above - very happy to be able to obtain the manatee stable from the mammals part of this mission.

I always love animal breeding! Thank you very much!

Edit: I now have more than one manatee stable thanks to the Wonder stables!

The Wild About Animals event is RIDICULOUS.

Bird Step 1 requires you to submit 70,000CC worth of animals. Considering chickens are worth 25CC that's absolutely crazy.

What a way to alienate new players.

Five days is nowhere near enough time for a new player to make any progress in this event. Makes me reconsider playing the game full stop if it's so heavily weighted towards senior players.

Big Thank you to the Team for the great wild about animals event! And Thank You for finally giving us prizes that match the effort it takes to do the breeding event!! I love that we got the Manatee and then Orange up-grades for it and the other rarer pens. It was fun and worth the effort! Job well done!

    Hi,

If I were new to Farmerama and wanted to do both of the currently running events,

Under a Canopy of Stars IV Event

I would first try to get Cloud Row.

    Requirements:
    4 x Telescope,
    272 x Lenses,
    4280 x Farsight Flowers

If you only use the main farm, with CAC,

    202 x 3 = 606
    4280 : 606 = 7 harvests
If you harvest 3 times a day, you'll get Cloud Row in 3 days.

Under a Canopy of Stars Magical Stalk Row II

    Gives: 3000 EP x Farm level, 2000 TEP x Baha level, 1 x Crate O' EP II
    Cooldown time:
    20 hours
Requires any three 1 x1 deco items and any one 2x2 deco item

    1 x Crate O' EP II

Once opened, the Crate O' EP II rewards 1 random item from the following:

Looks great for a new farm :D

I don't think any farmerama player would donate a chicken to such an event.

If a new farm has enough County Coins, here are a few options,

    Bahamarama wonder animals

    Guineafowl --> Barn Value ---> 2680 CC for 70000 CC needed 70000:2680 = 27 x Guineafowl

    Parakeet --> Barn Value ---> 2077 CC

You can buy them with the CC you earn by selling your chickens :).

As a 3-year player who's managed to build up a reasonable inventory, I am finally finding my way around breeding events and FS quests. It's taken me that long to manage to complete this type of event in such a short period. As other players mentioned here, I welcomed the chance to obtain new critters and better rewards.

Really appreciate that the BP Team is working with players to make a variety of events which are appealing to a range of players. I think it's not an easy task to try and be responsive to so many players. Again, kudos to the BP Team - y'all are rockstars! :inlove:

There are plenty of other birds that are more valuable.
Breeding animals give a much higher exchange rate.

Just because some people seem to be missing the obvious, i was just using chickens as a worst case example. Regardless, the requirements of this event are still wayyyy too much to a regular new player. The only way i could participate is if i went about it with the strategy Chamolile kindly gave.

These breeding events has never been for new players. They are ranked Difficulty: Medium - Hard and requirements are high.

Thanks for backing up my original point then. Lol. Why make an event that excludes certain players?

I would no say, it would be impossible to new player complete the event, if one is willing to use real money to get enough power feed and to buy animals, which have more value than chickens. There is plenty of wonder stable animals and breeding animals on market to buy.
There is long time players, who has played over 10 years, they need goals and challenges as well as new players. This event is aimed for them. They get something new. I remember when I was new player and I wondered during one event, should I try to buy animals, I do not have or should I sell, which I have. I did both to complete one part of event, but I couldn't do another part. I had partially completed events long at that time, but I found them worth to do.
I do donate chickens to this event;), but only to fill last points needed after more valuable birds.

    A Baby farm, level 42, market 14

    Sold 1 CAC
Purchased 8 Mantaray with the CC earned.
Completed step 1, Fish Category, and that farm is now level 57 :D.

I thoroughly enjoyed this event and played on all three farms. It was great getting rare and newer animal pens as prizes. :inlove:

The mechanics of the game are very clear and the graphics, as always, are excellent. :inlove:

Regarding the balance of keeping new and long-time players happy, this is something that has always been an issue. I have been playing for nearly 16 years ( :wuerg: ) and have seen a lot of changes throughout that time. I remember wondering how some players could accumulate the crops so quickly when I used to just about manage to finish events (though sometimes not).

My two baby farms do nothing but collect freebies and give gifts, most of the time. They do accumulate PF, SG and SSG and CCs so when I want to participate in an event, I have those resouces - what I don't have is stock. So I bought Chickens and the lowest priced mammals, Elephants and as many Fish and Sharks as I could find in their Markets for my breeding stock. Thankfully, I managed to reach the requirements. :)

Most players want to participate in all events and are disappointed when they can't (missing items needed) or don't finish, because they don't have sufficient requirements. It is not feasible for a player who has only been playing a short time to try to complete in some events that are anything above Easy to Medium difficulty. :p

The important thing is to look at all events with an eye to what you want to and what you CAN achieve. If you cannot participate, maybe you can win some prizes without finishing or sell things that are required to accumulate CCs for use in other events or generally for your farm. There are many ways to play this game and we all have our own strategy. There are so many facets to this game, it is hard to focus on what you really want or, more importantly, need. :music:
What is most important and has been said many times, however you play, enjoy it, it is supposed to be fun! :D

I agree illy, and have been playing for a little over 15 years. :music: It is true and appreciated that BP offers challenging events for long time farmers.

It's a "time management" game. So of course players who have been playing for years are going to have an easier time using high level breeding animals.

I wish BP would give us info of what the data is about active players. I would like to know the percentage of players who have been playing over a decade, 5 years, 1 year etc.

Yes, when I was a newbie I always farmed a lot of the event crops, even if I knew I couldn't finish an event, because the crops gave so much more xp than anything else I could farm. Also it gave me a bit of coins at the end.
