I have spent the last year in preparation for this event on SL's farm. I am sure it is in vain, but the good news is that the farmers on server #9 who have listed their wares at the market are much wealthier. May they spend their CCs wisely.

I'll be happy if I can get to the second tier and stay there until the bitter end.

This farm may "dabble", but the barn stores aren't there to sustain a high finish, so whatever I get for this farm is all gravy.

 

I join in from the sidelines and cheer all who make a run for the Top list. May you reach your farming goals!

 

Not sure how far I'll get...maybe not even one booth, but wish everyone to have a fun time. This year has passed so quickly and I appreciate all the wonderful friends and neighbors and all the BP Mods and Team who help us so much.

Gardengal, I think there's only one cloudrow attached to this event, and you only receive it if you finish in the top 1000 at the bitter end.

I just double-checked, and I only see the one. Or am I missing something?

There is, however, a very nice +giver at the third stage of the third booth - even after the charges are expended, it still a really nice giver as it increases drop rate by 4% and renews in 22 hours...so even if you aren't going to continue on, it really is worth it to complete booth #3!

I will aim to do the three booths and after donate anything from the event playfield. I know I won't get anywhere near the top but who knows, I might collect some good stuff on the way.

 

I'll only be trying to open three stalls, and I'm not participating in this competition. I've participated three times before, and while I've completely emptied my farm, my best performance has been winning flowers. First and foremost, I'll be supporting my neighbors and friends from the sidelines. I wish all participating farmers success.

davidb1 - I'm taking your post literally.... this time.

A few years now...I've attempted to reach top level....to only wake up to have missed out. It's also not a great time a year for an intense event. In the U.S., it's Thanksgiving week, and have many family/friends gatherings.

I wish all famers.... especially neighbors and friends good luck!

Ah oh well, just doing the booths then. Thank you for letting me know.

 

I have tried to find out how much last years amounts were to get in to the top lot but am beflumoxed. Perhaps someone could give the figures so that newer players are not lulled into trying. Even after years of playing I know I do not have enough in my barn to even try. Some players spend all year buying stuff just to fill their barns to compete. I will do what I can to complete the three booths but will not fuss to much about that. With Christmas round the corner, I have more than enough to do.

 

How many 4x4 fields can you place? I currently have 24, but when I try to move things or add more, it doesn’t work — even though there is still space.

Edit: I mean 2x2 Fields

 

Can't remember the actual figures but know there were 12 zeros!

 

Think I placed 24 2x2s, I managed to line up the 2x2s so I could get one more 2x2.

 

I found last year's list in the DE forum:

4000th place donated: 447.5 Million
3000th place: 647.9 Million
2000th place: 1.17 Billion
1000th place: 6.9 Billion
500th place: 12.6 Billion
1st place: 1.78 Trillion

It is not for new players, and requires planning.
