I'm just growing and harvesting the first crop for now. I didn't start donating to the buildings and now I'm really glad I didn't. It's the itty bitty bridge we need first? Oh yay. Maybe it's been a good thing that I was too busy cooking to do any damage on the farms.

 

Yes that is what I am doing getting the Red wood planks (drops) and growing the crops to build that tiny bridge first! fingers crossed we get it done!

 

By "building the bridge" does that mean upgrading it? I don't see another option to donate anything to "building" the bridge other than to click on the upgrade button to deliver the required items.

Still at least two or three cultivations away from being able to "open the bridge", a couple of times I have slept "way too much", once the plants lay in the field for almost 8 hours too long and another time 5 hours, so 13 hours or almost 4 missed cultivations

I assume SOMEONE HAS ALREADY OPENED THE BRIDGE, are there any of them or have others slept at night and not played a virtual game?

 

I can open it next harvest and I slept every night 8 hours. No way that I will set an alert in the middle of the night

 

I haven't been able to harvest during the day Tuesday, but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to open the bridge with today's harvests. It just takes so much time to get things done with only 68 event plant donations....

I messed up and instead of doing the bridge, started doing ingrids home. Now I am back to the bridge.

 

Yay I just harvested event field with Scarlet Shields and had 815 of them and 206 of the Red wood planks!
I then went and built the bridge! I then planted the Bitter Blade on that 2nd land and the scarlet shields
back on the 1st land sooo I think I am off to a good start! Following pedrofish's advice I will now grow 743 bitter Blades and collect 122 Red Wood Planks to build (open) Ingrid's dragon ship That is my plan so I will see how this works for me!

 

You should partillay donate to take advantage of the free 5 event crop rebooking every 5 hours too!

 

SL's farm has finally opened the next section. This farm is lagging behind one harvest, so in 3+ hours, it will get there, too.

Alarms I set during the day to remember to harvest every 3 hours, 36 minutes. At night, I get up if I wake up and then I'll harvest. I always wake up at least once in the night. I'm old. Need I say more?

 

Hi pedrofish31, when you refer to Ingrid's dragon ship for this step - I just wanted to check to see if you do indeed mean the one specifically labeled Ingrid's dragon ship and not the other two ships (epic dragon ship & dragon ship)? Thank you!

 

We get to chose which dragon ship we want to build, thus chosing what kind of prizes we want:

ship with purple sail: 12 power feeds + 1 lucky coin
ship with pink sail: 18 Suzy's super-grow + 1 neon light bulb
ship with red sail: 25 super-grow + 1 crate o' buffs

 

I followed the FAQ, which calls the ship Ingrid's Dragon ship, I cannot see any other name. In the event there are 3 different options for the ship called Dragon ship, Epic Dragon ship and Ingrid's dragon ship, and as Northy stated to choose one. Any of the chosen option will have Viking Broth available every 20 hours once completed, as well as cloud row after step 5.

 

Unfortunately, I caught the flu and spent two nights battling a high fever, chills, and intense pain, and I didn't achieve much. I'm currently in the final stages of opening the bridge and have only delivered 216 of the 425 plants. I'm continuing at a snail's pace, wondering how much further I can go.

 

It is a 2 week event, so please plod forward if you feel up to it. I am hoping your flu has gotten better.

 

It is working with Scarlet Shields, however, I did not notice any rebooking of Bitter Blade so far

 

Thank you for clarifying, I didn't know if it mattered which ship. I don't want to mess up being that we can't use buffs and a mistake will cost lots of extra time to fix lol.
