From the FAQ it seems to be the case, the 5 extra event crop was not written under the red shield crop only (I'm keeping my finger crossed too for it to be true)

Yes, silly errors on the Event Field are deadly and usually it's not just time you lose, it's money too!

I just did what I tought was my last dontation for the bridge: 422/425 red shields!

 

Sigh, three more harvests of red shields to complete the bridge. Slow slog. My five Wonder Hoopie stables turned into 2 orange beaver dams, 1 Moufflon stable, 1 Montjac stable, and 1 other which I've forgotten in the time it took to collect and come here to post (note to self, don't trust the grey cells, write it down!). I don't think I've received anything which I don't already have from any type of Wonder stable/tree in a very long time! Extras are available to those in need during the next G&T

Glad we have two weeks for this and appreciate everyone sharing their experiences. At least we all seem to be having the same experiences and one could say it's a good exercise in patience!

yes, it seems to be the case and the second area for 10 hour crop only has 41 1x1 fields, so it will go even slower than the bridge. And the bitter blade crop so far is not rebooking 5 plants, but read on another forum, that should be fixed on Monday. For now make sure you always plant first before making donations to the ship.

I know you could pick up a calculator (or open it on your computer) but has anyone already calculated how much of that first-time plant (5 hours) is needed TOTAL for all those houses, ships and "bats"?

Isn't it true that it's needed if you want to get rewards and for other things besides building the bridge?

 

Yesterday evening, I only saw the first page of posts I only saw there were 2 more pages this morning, after i'd donated to the ship. Hope i don't lose it.

The complication of this version of Ingrid took away all the fun of it.

 

Big discovery for me...the broken bridge! I actually 'found' its broken planks in the river near the vertical left side bar of the game screen. After refreshing the game in a vain attempt to get an extra 5 shields - I need three more - I was looking at the various locked areas, and noticed some tiny squiggles in the river near the newspaper tab. All this time, I, and maybe many others, have been clicking on buildings and then clicking the bridge tab option to upgrade.

I wish the bridge we need to repair was more clearly defined rather than looking like a very small spilled bucket of bait or the mudbugs in my former home!

Just noticed MM is live: 30hrs... another plate to spin!

Red Scarlet shields are needed to refurbish the houses, archery range and build the bridge: 2862 red shields in total!

 

Oh yeah - BP had to go throw in a 24 hour MM just to make sure we were ALL overwhelmed.

And Northy, thanks for the explanation on the three choices for the ships. Of course I want one thing from the middle one and one thing from the last one. Grrrrr.

and notice that in "Ingrid's Dragon Ship" we "have to" choose ONE option only, can´t even do all three...

and "Archery Range" also only One option can be used!

 

Lol, yes, crop is Scarlet Shields, but it's faster to type 'red'

I am not sure how the rest of you are doing getting those 743 Bitter Blades we need to grow to open or up-grade the
"Ingrids Dragon Ship!" I only have 121 in the barn I don't think BP really wants us to get a "broth every 20 hours!"
that in it's self is like 1 per day! I just wish "they" had let us use both lands to grow them! Good luck to all I think we are going to need it

I missed a couple of harvests due to Thanksgiving and my Dad falling. I stayed up later than I normally do last night to get another one in, but I'm confused about my progress.

How are you all doing? Would you share where you are so I can judge if I can still make it? It is so slow that I think I would do better if I went backwards

I have the bridge open and have started on the Dragon ship. I have 112/160 which is the first step. I doubt I will get it open before Ingrid arrives. Should I keep going or am I too far behind to catch up? With all that has been going on in real life, I haven't done the math.

My speed is about the same. It is sooo slow. With this speed I think we maybe lucky to get about 4-5 broths in the last 4-5 days, so rest we have to mill after third part opens.
@puppiesnponies definitely keep going as you can get cloud row from the ship!

 

You are ahead of me Pups, I have the second plot opened but still not full. I didn't realise we could donate to the Ship already but I have nothing to donate yet anyway ... so I will do that as soon as I can - which will be tomorrow now! I am also confused where I am and am very grateful for some of the hints and tips here - which went totally over my head!
