304 Bitter Blades - and 3h36min to get next harvest of it...

Reading the problems with do SHIP:

Is it really true that when you first deliver to Ingrid's ship, that delivery location changes its location in the game window?

So you have to be very careful to deliver to the SAME ship that you have already started, am I understanding correctly?

Now 304 Bitter Blade plants in stock - NO DELIVERIES yet, I'll just deliver to the one (your choice) that produces 30 Green Drops...

But you have to be very careful, right?

EDIT: and of course I forgot about the DROP thing, that Main Fields will have them and I put Snowball Shrub and not Amaranth plants early in the morning, what a shame!

 

I think you know it by now, there's a baba yaga in the sticker event.

It happened to me in the beggining, i wasn't paying attention. Lost a few precious sharp blades

At the rate I am going I will finish the ship and maybe collect one broth since it is every 20 hours.

 

My ship also drifted anchor this morning and a different one, with no contributions, was at dock. Didn't realize it was different until a few hours later and fortunately, I haven't lost any blades. I kept checking different buildings and going back to the ship, then my original choice with donations showed again. I hope @Northy and others get their original choice as well.

Have to remember not to harvest the drop fields with my long-grow (like Nuubi, I didn't use amaranths ) I planted chrysanthemums and will use howies and maybe a PBC for extra drops and see how it goes.

 

@MeadowCrossing I never got my first choice baot back! Now I see I could start donating to a second boat, so yeah the user interface for the boat dontions is not so great! I'm afraid it will be like this for the other building that we have to chose...

Northy, did you click on the boat in the background - towards the horizon? That's what I had to do to finally get my original choice. If I clicked inside the building, it wouldn't go back. I just kept clicking on the ship and finally it resurfaced.

Now it's time for me to call it a day/night and I can't remember why we need drops. Haven't harvested my main fields all day waiting, and now my mind's gone to sleep before the old phys bod! G'nite all, see you in the morning!

 

Right now, clicking on the boat bringd up the window with the 3rd boat with no donation. I have to click on its picture to bring back the boat were my donations are (and no, it will not bring back the bot I had chosen first). The interface is pure crap (to stay polite). Same for the arrow range, I tried to select the middle one and it reverted to the first. So nope, not a happy camper and this version of the event will be complete scrapped from my to-do list.

The harvest on your main land and green meadow are for drops to mill broth for Ingrid's throwing. I don't think drops will be the limiting factor, event crops will make things ssssllllloooowwww!

 

I'm wondering too. Can anyone point us where to find this info? Where can we see the upcoming prizes? Thanks!

 

When a sticker event begins, i don't read anything, i just glue stickers until i complet 100% on decorations. This last time (still running),

when i reached my goal, the last prize was a Baba Yaga.

Your avatar brings me memories of my chldhood, gardengal, we had a tree in our backyard.

 

Thanks Flower, perhaps I can finish this time, I seem to have enough stickers for the first part which I was lacking for some reason the last time. Just need more glue!

I got 354 Drinking Horns with my harvest of Aramanth so not bad but I have enough Red Wood Planks now so if anyone wants to send me a gift, I would prefer Drinking Horns. Don't think I am desperately in need but now we have a choice of two gifts, it helps to know what people actually need/want.
I did my first axe throw and got a Bullseye on my third attempt. Maybe she is going to be kind to us all this time.

This event is as much fun as watching paint dry.

Northy, I had something similar happen on SL's farm but with the other item - the dragon. Absolutely could NOT choose any other item - just the first option. On this farm, it let me see all three options and then choose, but not on SL's farm. So there's definitely a glitch in the matrix as far as those two builds are concerned.

 

At first I tought it could be BigFish vs Farmerama farms, but nope. Just don't care anymore. I started so I'll continue but I will not participate in a Event field event that has 3 land sections with 3 differents crops, nope. The 2 cloud rows are not worth the hassle!

 

I very much agree, there won't be any time soon for those "exhilarating" 20-hour games like Ingrid's axe throwing, if at all, or just a couple of them!

There are only 170 hours left (about 1 week) and you can get one game in 20 hours, then when you get:
I myself have now grown 435 plants day and night and whatever the need, it's from the snow chain...

The need is 743, so
I have managed to produce 435/743*100% = 58.54%

Pretty much impossible, you can get 3 harvest in a day if you spend 3 hours on anything other than playing (I don't see it, but that's the idea!)

The growing session produces MORE
28 plants from BIG fields
4 plants from half fields
8 from small fields

TOTAL +47 plants per 7 hours 12 minutes or +141 plants per day = 21 hours!

Will I get ONE or THE FIRST of those Ingrid-throwing-games!

edit: still a same amount of plant, 370 Drops = 7,5 games, plants = zero games...

 

I've had it with this event, feels like walking up a steep snowy hill that's also covered in molasses with my hands tied behind my back. Not fun at all. After I get enough star coins for all of the sticker glue available in the rewards section, I'll stop participating. This event is too long, drawn out, and boring with no great prizes. And it appears that we won't even get to play the axe throwing mini game that many times. I probably would continue on, not happily though, if the drinking horn drops came from the event field too because I have too much going on on my main farm fields and I don't want to keep these fields cleared for several days with long growing crops for drops because the CRs aren't worth that.

My morning habit usually involves a quick check-in at the farm when I first get up. This morning I found an issue with the first choice of a building changing. There's just so many hours in a day I am willing to 'devote' to the game and when something is broken, not just for me, but for many others, it is time for me to step back and rearrange my priorities. I want my game experience to be enjoyable, not a test of my patience and mental ability! Each player has their own RL situations, and mine now are focused on upcoming family visits and the end of year holidays as well as numerous other things. Having to always check to be sure I am following the decided event strategy, is wearing and making me grumpy. Personally I feel there are too many things that have been introduced during this busy time of year, and another new one with its daily tasks. It's my choice to participate or not, and I think I need the self-discipline to not try and undertake everything and focus on what's enjoyable. I will continue with this event, but in a relaxed way and take what rewards I can easily accomplish and keep RL as my priority

Update: Checked again after breakfast, and things seem to have settled down and everything's in its proper place. I completed Ingrid's House and Mead Hall. The ship, dragon shrine, and Longhouse are all at their proper places.

For anyone sending me gifts, I still prefer planks as I am doing well with drops and don't really expect to play many mini-games. Thank you!

Ditto to that. I detect that BP is focused on churning out stuff without any regard for glitches and 'proof-reading' whether something is going to work (and to be enjoyable!)

I am disconsolate about donating bitter blades toward Ingrid's something-or-other and if I hadn't, my next harvest would have completed the row-boat (oops, Viking longboat) and started the timer to get Ingrid another chucking axe. Now, how can I blame BP for that?​
