I've liked this event aside from the fact that I simply cannot get enough of the tools to finish completely. I will end on probably 65-ish of the 100 paint cans needed, and that was the most achievable of the options.

I do understand that this is a me problem given I donate all my tools to various quests as I am predominantly a quest player. I can however imagine that there are a lot of players in a similar position to me (whether they post about it on the forum or not) who spend most of the year focusing on quests but do like to participate in the odd event here and there (for me, it's always the Christmas ones and then a handful of others across the year). I can't be the only one who has struggled to make up the tool requirements because I spend my year donating every tool I get to the quests; and it doesn't seem fair that those of us who do choose to focus on quests throughout the year are put at a disadvantage. There's only so many tools a person can get in a day, and only a fraction of them are the ones required.

It just would have been nice to have more achievable numbers, or a bit more advance warning about the event requirements so that we could prepare. I wouldn't have donated my tools to the quests in advance of this event if I'd known there would be such a high requirement.

That aside, I don't really have any gripes with this event other than the woefully small fields to plant. To wait hours only to get a handful of crops in yield is pretty rough. And the structure of the fields doesn't even allow us to maximise the space.

I don't however mind the events being linked. I just mind how inaccessible this event is to anyone who plays the game a certain way.

I would like to add that exchanging Star Coins etc in the Shop is very long-winded. I won 700+ Star Coins and that means I have to click over 700 for each part of the process, I think that is about 2,100 just for Star Coins. I'm glad I didn't leave it to the last minute! :wuerg:
It would be improved by being able to purchase multiple of an item in one go. :)

I'd like to point out that events played in the event field are excellent for newer players or for those players who cannot afford bying

baskets or super grows like me. I've some resources because i've playing for a long time and i save and save and save super grows

and super feed, use them strictly on the events.

So, i hope this field continues to be used in upcoming events, allowing the participation of a larger number of players. The only

observation would be not to place there classical ones like Ingrid.

    Congratulations on the wonderful graphics!

I caved and bought a basket to get the last bitter blades. (Usually I don't pay real money for anything.)

So I suppose the event worked exactly as it should for BP.

This event totally wore me out and I'm still recovering. I liked that it was on the event field as I could keep on with normal farming but to divide the field up for three different crops was challenging as it took forever to get anywhere with completing the buildings. And you definitely needed to stay on top of harvesting as soon as possible but with such a short crop I felt like I was tied to the game all day. As others have said it became tedious and boring. I liked that there was the option to utilise left over crops in the shop but I would have rather had a choice about that, grow crops to convert or use ALL the fields to grow Golden Root for Ingrid's axes.

And I have long wondered why when we have a shop to buy from why we have to buy everything one item at a time. To convert 5 Bitter Blade to the EP gift 200 times was just painful. The functionality is there for multiple purchases in the farm shop as well as when using consumable items so why not in events?

To add to my frustration when the Winter Market weekend event was on that crop had a different growth time that just threw all my harvests out of sync.

I do commend BP for trying to give us some new and more challenging events but this one was too much for me and I'll be skipping at least the next event because my heart (or willpower) is just not into farming at the moment.

For me using the event field is a slow and painful progression! IF you MUST put events on that field at least give is more than 2 crops
per 1x1. It's like you are wasting all that time to grow a crop and after harvesting and replanting you get almost nothing in the barn!
I don't understand how farmers think that is ok..maybe it is just me wanting something for my time and hard work!

I've been gone a while and was pretty excited to see I came back to 'Throwing Axes'. Excitement deflated.
Far too many 'things' to do and such a big event on a tiny playing field.
    I completely agree.
