Sorry, my brain's not clicking on full power with all that's going on. Do we 'need' a total of 40 silver keys to reach the CR, or can we take a short-cut and skip the first box of keys and just use 20 keys for the second box?

Thanks everyone for all the very helpful tips. It's a lot for me to process, but doing my best to keep going and balance with RL. Trying to figure out my strategy to get the CR now that I did figure out which mini-game rewarded the Korean Firs

Unfortunately, there's no shortcut; you absolutely need to use 20 wrenches at the foot of the mountain and another 20 at the summit. I just used them and I'm continuing with my plant-related activity.

I collected the last needed keys for the top of the mountain, opened the gear boxes and have reached the cloud row. I mistakenly, out of habit, used cookies to reduce the timers for keys when I no longer need keys I will now go back to using all 3 fields for stables to collect cookies to reduce the gear coin timers, and try to determine how many more games to play to reach my own individual goals.

I hope we all reach our goals for this event

...and so we wait for the "paint to dry" or alternatively "the grass to grow" - those 14 keys in the middle of the TOP-mountain are missing, otherwise it's ready, so OF COURSE the Festive-DROPS are missing too!

 

At the top of the mountain, we earn 20 pieces of equipment money from each of the time-limited packs (packs number 20 and 25), and we need plenty of cookies to shorten the time. My 3 main zones are covered with trees, and I harvest twice a day. I wanted to offer this as an idea, maybe it will help.

 

Sending cookies all around every day. Appreciate any sent to any of my farms.

Okay, SL's farm is done with the event save for daily harvesting of the timed items on the mountain and continuing to play the board games for goodies and trivia points/gear coins. What a slog. Nuff said. I have purchased an orange upgrade to go on the cardinal nest and an extra Korean Fir (at 6 hours to maturation for the base tree, I felt it better to have two trees than one upgraded tree at this point). Will see what else I can garner with trivia points and gear coins as the days drag on.

This farm is still slogging through the mire. I think that I can get this one to the end by the end (time wise). The baby farms are not in it to win it. They are in it to get whatever goodies they can get so not sweating it.

 

He is our "old pope in an oak" - and he means sure 2026 - it is a "typo" !

and My missions are 90/90... waiting than "sapeli" is too waiting.

I'm 3 keys from opening the sixth box of top of mountain!!!! I'm seeing a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel!!
Then heading up the mountain for the elusive CR. I'm a bit weary of mini games....but need gear coins to buy permanent cardinals and korean firs.

I have reached the last lot of Keys, I need another 14 so I will probably have a week to work on Gear Coins.
I have completed the crops (for real this time - despite misplanting Holly TWICE! ) and am on target with the Cardinals and the Firs (I think!).

Happy with the progress though it is a long and drawn out event. Not sure if this helped those with family commitments over the Christmas and New Year but I have farmed all through and thought I might have got further. But hey, it's only a game isn't it?

44 Koiponds = 4 drops
44 Paint Factory = 6 drops
16 Bio Clue Labs = 5 drops
(using PizzaPlace and Rousing Dance Drop-betters!!!)

104 workshops NORMALLY last 36 hours.
16 drops!

in a normal event, those would get 100% return 104 drops!

Just played a round of the secondary board games - the ones we use the punch to pay in to play. I landed on the puzzle one in order to get another prize I wanted for this farm...and discovered that the puzzles are different and the reward is +1 revenue on winter cardinal for 4 hours! So it's a help, seeing how I still need a thousand of those on this farm, I'll take all the help I can get.

Edited to add - all the mini-games on the punch board games reward a +1 for the trees, cardinals or holly.

(As a GF of Nuubi -> I do also Workshops just now, bad drop-rate, very bad !)

Do You other players use TREES to get Festive-Drops?
Just to overnight, 107 Cherry- and 107 Plum trees (needed fruits to Seasons!) to Main and Green Willow if get over 8 Festive-drops it is better than overnight animals!

We need 6 Keys and 2 Gear-Coins-Box - so hundreds of Festive-drops !

edit: I already have used 16 over 23hour tree in M-Glace, usually 1 or maybe 2 Festive-drops, thats is poor rate too !
