Neon Reef

This is a straight breeding event with a minimum beaver donations to get the Neon Octopus and the new Sawmill Neon Upgrade.

Players will need Glowsticks to make donation:

You will get 1 x Glow Stick guaranteed with each breeding of any animal.


There is two donation sides:

Needed: 185 Glow Sticks	Needed: 140 Glow Sticks 1 380 000 barn value of beauvers and coloured beavers
Prize: Octopus Pool V: Neon Time: 8 hours and 15 minutes Gives: 4 Octopuses + 875 TEP + 2 Manure Building requirements: 1 Virtual Reality Octopus, 3400 Roof tiles, 425 Shovels, 85 Machine parts, 85 Hammers Level: 3	Prize: Sawmill V: Neon Time: 55 hours and 15 minutes Gives: 3 Timbers + 1420 EP + 12 Manure Building requirements: 3 Encino Beavers, 1 Neon Light Bulb, 4250 Nails, 104 Hammers, 81 Wood boards Level: 74

To fully do the event, the total is:

325 Glow Sticks
1 380 000 barn value of beavers (3287 base beavers):

1. 180 000 donation: 429 base beavers
2. 400 000 donation: 953 base beavers
3. 800 000 donation: 1905 base beavers

Of course players can throw coloured beavers to meet the goals of the three donations.

Thank you, Nordais, for starting the event comments with such a clear lay-out and calculations! I had a quick look at the FAQ earlier today and had completely overlooked the coloured beavers and the donations of barn values. Thought I had enough base beavers (still do), but will now have to check on the coloured ones. The fact that we can breed ANY animal and still get the glow sticks makes it easier. I'm in.

 

Again, thank you Nordais, for laying it all out for us. Of course, it's an event, it is a breeding event, so I am all in to finish all of it!

All four farms went ahead and completed the Neon breeding event. Hope for 1/2 price to restock the breeding shed. On to the other event.

 

Thanks Northy! Because of you, I decided to spend $20 million to buy 4000 beavers for donations - event done, very anti-climatic I might add and will save PF for another pink workshop. I am so grateful for your charts

 

Yes, breeding events are done fast now for long time players. Took only 30 miniutes and was done on both farms, the most enjoyable thing of breeding events is that we get the upgrades fast! mouahaha! Neon upgrades... (I'm pretty sure pnp ears twitched!)

With the Neon Sawmill being 55 hours, I will only use it during Happy Workshop days. While other pens are lovely to look at, I do enjoy the efficiency of the Neons. They are so useful for events, quests, Season orders, etc.

I'm glad so many of you were able to complete the event so quickly!

Me too!!!

 

Changed my mind about doing this and just finished. Had a good stock of critters, PF, and pheromones. Nice rewards and love the colors of the event page. I'll likely put down the sawmill and tuck it away in a corner on the Glade. Neon octopus is already on Crystal Falls

 

I also finished this fairly quickly and, for a change, I didn't wait for HDD as I had a good supply of PF and I am going away for a week so wanted to get everything done before.

I have actually prepped my baby farms to do it as well - they only needed Beavers so I filled three fields with Beavers, buffed them to the limit so I am getting at least 5 per pen. Tomorrow I will have enough for the donations but they will wait for BB and/or HDD before they donate anything.
I do love breeding events, you never know, one day I might get a decent skip! Oh pink pig flying overhead!

 

Pink pigs are not a breeding pig! That was a trivia question for those who do not understand... hehehe Sorry I just had to (that darn question came back SO many times)!

Youngest farm now has enough Beavers (I hope) and middle farm will be done with Beavers tomorrow morning so now just hoping for HDD - if not, I have enough PF on both farms to complete the event but just prefer to get more for my golden feed!

 

Longer Baby Boom starts in nine hours, but no sign of a Discount Day.......
