Farmerama's Secret Event

I have enough licenses to now get the Dracula parrot. Since we do not know when the event ends, my plan is to use those licenses each day and not save them. Events typically end either at 14:00 or 22:00 so I aim to use them before that time. Our next event, according to the Preview Calendar, is the Firefly event which begins on 5 February. I would think this event would be over by then, but that is, of course, just a guess.

 

Job well done pups! I also have enough licenses to buy the Dracula parrot for 12 licenses OR the 2nd Spy Cave giver for 8!
What to do, what to do!???? I am leaning toward the 2nd giver as I already have the Dracula Parrot and another one would just sit in the crate! I am also curious as to WHY there is 2 of the same giver!? So much to think about! I am wondering IF the event ends today at 2200!? Time will tell! Good luck everyone!

 

Do you feel like there is a 'same-ness' between today, and yesterday and the day before? Well that may be because today is GROUNDHOG DAY!!!​

Thanks, everyone for putting this event in perspective, it is a great help! Happy farming and hopefully a shorter winter to you Northern Hemisphere Dwellers! I won't mention that I have a sunburnt nose from sea-swimming yesterday - it wouldn't be kind to those of you in snowy countries....​

 

Well I woke up and this little event was still going on, so I'm continuing to poke at it. I did manage to get the first giver for all four farms yesterday. Whee!

 

I wonder when this will end? There is Last chance! -labels in Shop-O-Rama. I used all my licenses.

 

Gosh I miss the beach in Mexico! No snow at present but the clouds are so low they feel like they are sitting on my head!

Regarding the secret event, a tab in the HQ to go to the shop would be a great addition.
Edit: A 'deliver all' option would be nice too.
I actually like the HQ set up; easy & more appealing.

 

My baby farm got the second giver, my main farm went for the parrot. That Crate O' Farm Coins II can help alot of newer players / farms. That second parrot can be traded in the next G&T or even gifted to great neighbours that couldn't get it before!

Preparing for this is just impossible, I'll be spending my licences too just like PnP!

If you have access to the Edelweiss valley, you can check: the converter building, green fuel section, if you have the Dracula Parrot nest in your inventory or not.

My guess is that this quest will last for another 26 days (as of Feb 2), since the Farm Shop shows that the content will refresh in 26 days. So it will disappear around Feb 28, maybe? Happy farming!

I have now reached my goal as I did have enough licenses to get the 2 Spy Cave givers, and the Dracula Parrot a crate of buffs and 2 romance crates! I have been able to harvest the ! every 3 hours and my lands gave me a good amount of the "Hat drops"! So for me a fun un-complicated event! Thank you Farmerama! Now we will see how long this event really does last! and thanks to all who posted here with your thoughts and suggestions!

 

Still collecting every 3 hours (okay, during the day, I'm not getting up in the night for this). Working on getting enough to have a spare dracular parrot nest.

 

Does anyone know what to make of the "Event Duration: 1 Days" banner (beneath the Cheesemasons HQ sign / to the left of your next order requirements). - I can't tell if it's counting how long it's already been running or if it's telling us that we have another day to finish?

 

When did that banner show up? I don't remember seeing it.

I think it means the event ends tomorrow. If so, I appreciate the clue so we can wrap up shopping.

 

I haven't seen that banner either.

Are you a dedicated farmer or what - impressive Will have 2nd giver today if I beat the 0 days timer - I sleep at night!!

EDIT: BP - when exactly is this event over? Do we use the licenses we have so we don't lose or ????? It would be great to know.

 

@007Farming lol It just seems like I am! I have a PC that is on all the time I mentally make a note to come back
and harvest in 3 hours sometimes I make it sometimes not. And being as I more "Cat nap" than sleep again IF I am awake I harvest
but I don't set a clock or anything like that. Since this has been a "Secret Event" with no Faqs I don't think your questions will be answered by BP! Good Luck with deciding when to spend your licences!

 

As it is a surprise event, I don't think the team has the answers. I would also advise to consume the licenses asap, rather than wait.
Could finish at 10:00 or 14:00 CET, but rather than risking, you could use those licenses somehow.
