Back from my hols now and getting things sorted. I did manage to farm every day though I lost my continuity on the City Project - had whatever it was in the field but forgot to come back and harvest it! Never mind, starting from scratch again there. :p
Northy, I hope you are all better now. ;):inlove:;)

I had a few crops and drops (though with CFs, not as many as I could have had - though CFs do tend to give me 100% drops, there just aren't enough of them!). I played the first few games a bit tentively but soon got the gist. Chamomile*: thank you so much for your grid, I aimed for the CRs and givers first and I only need Cupcake Conjurers to complete the CRs.

I really like the mini-games, I did mess up on the first couple but then I realised how to play them (only 6s or 9s can come from the pack to an empty slot - the King one was easy though) I get them right every time, not much need for the Brews.8)

I'm afraid I did try to do less farming this time round so gifts were the things I couldn't really keep up with - apologies to all my neighbours - especially on the baby farms. :music:
Think I am doing okay with this event and if I struggle I will throw everything at it! :)
    Good luck all! :inlove:

Are there only 21 star coins available (nodes 11, 19, and 38 ) ? That makes the three givers unavailable in the Event Shop.

If you look at those nodes, you will see a purple button with a curved arrow on it. Hovering over this button says it allows you to replay the node which should award you more coins. I haven't gotten there but that's what I believe happens with them.

You can play those star coins givers (like the one that gives 8 star coins) as many times as you want.

I was very lucky in this event: got several bonus in the wheel, so could quickly finish with the plants and save SG to go for drops.

Today i completed the tree and had enough star coins to buy a third piccolo and "Cupcake Conjurer". Now i'm collecting drops to get

    some bonus crates.

I wish to leave here a late Happy Birthday to Farmerama, looking forward another birthdays and a big and fat Thanks to moderators

and all the players that were helping us through this year: Nordais, Nala777, Chamomile, Wisdom Tree and all the others that came to

this forum with something interesting and useful to share.

Congrats to all those doing well with this event! I have not gotten very far playing the card games. I've been stuck on one normal level for two days. I keep playing it again and again with no luck and continuously running out of alchemy brew and having to go play solo king to get more. Not fun so far in my opinion, just want to be done with it.

I'm sorry to hear that, gardengal. Long before we had clunky old stupid computers and an eon before we had newer smart and fast computers and the internet, as a kid in the 1970's, I passed the time on cold winter days playing solitaire -- so I've been playing solitaire like this for at least 50 years. The thing I've noticed with the 'normal' (up to sixes) game is that it's actually the hardest one to win if you have a buried card that you need and no alchemy brew because there are no additional slots to move the sixes into. Crossing my figures that you'll get it solved and move on.

    Okay, things that might help:

    1) Run through the stack of cards in the upper left corner one time. Pull out any card that can be played on one of the face up cards AND that also allows you to MOVE another face up card to reveal a card underneath. Don't spend any "brew" if you don't have to on that first run though.

    2) If you can move a face up card that is on the far left or next to the far left, do that to open up an empty card slot. Move any card that will fill that slot (a 6 in the small game, 9 in the medium game or King in the large game). Do this as soon as you can. Watch which card you put down...try to put one that is the opposite color of a card that you can then put on it to reveal another card underneath.

    3) If the first run through the stack of cards did not get you all 4 aces and you have enough brew, use it to get an ace out of the tableau.

    4) Do NOT move 3's up to the ace piles until you have all the twos. It's okay to build down from the high card to two's...in fact, this is advantageous if you are short on brew.

    5) You can, in fact, pile all the cards up from the high card through the 2's and then anywhere on your screen RIGHT CLICK and the game will automatically pull the cards to the ace piles and you win the game.

    6) The cards I use the most brew on are aces and the high cards (6, 9 or King). But, sometimes you have to choose to use brew to get a buried card that is preventing you from winning a game. This is why the long piles are advantageous as you can rebuild brew.

Sorry that I didn't post this sooner.

Players can draw back cards from the four piles in the upper right corner and place them down back to help move some cards around.

    Oh, the multi-peak of annoyance!

Acorn is a product of the OAK tree, this is what it does when it doesn't know how to spell, I was surprised when the event had GREEN PLUS in the card exchange but you can't buy Acorn wood with it...

Well, it can't, since there is no such tree, I would say that the "in Finnish all things are pronounced exactly as they are written" -easiness applies here too, by the way, it's the same thing in Greek.

Luckily, I've played that top 8 Star Coins game dozens of times already and I'm starting to have achieved everything I want from the store with star coins... but it was painful again... now I don't need to chase those "acorns" from the MARKET when I have another ten XXL versions of the Oak tree and time to quickly produce them with brown wood manure!

Very easy nowadays when english do so "tricks" to foreing language peoples playing Farmerama!!!

SL's farm is done. Bought everything that farm needs/wants with star coins and am done growing the event crop. Back to normal farming.

This farm is struggling a bit. Trying to decide between getting some star coins for extra givers or going for the second piccolo box (one on the left side of the tree). I think I'm going for the known entity - the extra givers. So this farm is still growing the event crops.

Can someone tell me which nodes (which numbers of the nodes) to complete in order to get to nodes 5 and 37? Thank you in advance! The tree ribbons are messing with my mind and I keep getting confused on which to follow in order to get where I need to be.

To get to node 5 (wonder trees as a prize) you need to go through either node 6 (20 super-grow) or node 13 (5 BBs). For node 37 (8 Star Coins) you need to go through node 30 (Cloud Row #2):

Thank you, Northy. On the FAQ I read node 5 was two cake flambe and node 37 was two cupcake conjurer, which is why I'm trying to get through to those two nodes. Which nodes do you see as the ones I'm seeking?

On that particular drawinf from Chamimile* that would be node 4 and node 36, bottom left corner and upper left corner. Those two givers are nneded to fill the requirements for cloud row 1. If you want the second cloud row you will need to get the giver from node 40 in the right upper corner. Else, you will can purchase it for 28 Star Coins in the event's shop.

Thank you! I'm trying to figure out the path to get to them, like which ones I have to unlock and play first in order to get to them. I have the main CR already, the one that gives 600% EP/TEP for givers. I just need two of the givers for it and starting to worry I won't finish these card games in time as I get stuck on the "difficult" ones for more than a day.

All done! I used a lot of SG and SSG but I finished all the nodes. I should have left the ones that just give the Brew (as I was already maxed out) but I like things to be finished and I wanted little green ticks everywhere. I quite enjoyed it but it was very time consuming doing all the solitaire games. Glad I didn't leave all that till the end! :p
Good luck to all those still going for it. ;)
