    I don't know if you have all seen this but it is starting tomorrow, no growing or drops required, as far as I can see. As it is of a totally different type of event to normal, I have no idea what strategy to use but I just wanted to bring everyone's attention to it. :p

    We get freebies to start us off but what to do with them is anyone's guess - apart from those smart farmers who always seem to spot the way things go! :music::inlove::music:

    If you do it, have fun! :inlove:

    Thanks illy1996 for starting the tread,

    This is an Edelweiss Valley mini event. We'll be required to exchange inventory items for cards that represent ingredients to make drinks. The mini event consists on clients coming in and placing orders for specific drinks, each with a specific recipe. The ingredients' cards will be in three different stacks at the bottom of the screen, we'll have to move them around to get enough ingredients to make the drinks. Cards can only be moved on the same type: ex a "Milk" card can only be move unto another "Milk" card or in a client's order.

    There is no strategy to this, it all depends on what you are ready to convert your inventory into, what kind of drinks will pop up in the clients' requests, etc. The givers and cloud row are quite expensive. It is not clear how much "Alpine Cards" will be rewarded after completing a drink. Also, filling orders will raise the level of the event, which unlocks other drinks, clients, etc.

    This event is not for the newly Edelweiss Valley players for sure...

    FAQ says:
    Each completed General order rewards 55 x Edelweiss Cards. Special orders can win an extra 75 x Edelweiss Cards from the Reward Pool.

    I will give the event a try and see what happens. As with any new mechanic, once it goes live, any confusion will become clear as we go along.

    My plan is to fill my inventories today so that I can fill the fridge tomorrow and then plant crops/trees that fit my farming schedule. I'm still working on the Firefly event so likely, I'll aim for something similar in time. And if that doesn't work, then I'll try something else. :pxD

    Thanks illy1996. Edelweiss can become very passive and boring after a while. I think events like this will add excitement to the game and make players want to spend more time in Edelweiss. Yes, I'll try it too. Let's see what surprises we'll encounter. Good luck to my fellow farmers who will participate.

    This farm dabbles at EV. SL's farm is much farther along and does much more there. So we'll see how this goes. Thanks for reminding me that it starts tomorrow. So much on my plate.

    It's a bit like the patience game, you have to drag cards on top of the same ones, pile up 10 of them so that you can donate them to the customers to make their drinks. Once a drink is completed, you will recieve alpine cards that can be exchanged in the shop for givers and the cloud row. As you fill customers' orders, you will gain experience, raise level, get more customers and more space to move cards around.

    I tried the game, it's good, the cloud queue is currently active and I'll keep playing; there are some pretty cool things I can buy with the cards I win.

    Once I got the hang of it, it was quite a nice event, quick moving and I got most of the prizes, even some that I wouldn't normally choose! Paws up for this one. Must remember to fill my CR! :inlove:

    Love :inlove: love :inlove: love :inlove: love :inlove: love :inlove: this event! My baby farm got every single thing and I still have lots of inventory left and I'm just at level 10! This mechanic is way better than the pizza one and should be brought to the main farm events! There's no stress, just takes a bit of thinking but is not too complicated. WOW, that is all I have to say!:D:music:

    I really enjoyed this event! I have cards left over but was able to scoop up so much from the event shop. It is a bit time consuming but easily done.

    How do the exchange values in the depot work? I'm receiving a small fraction of the displayed "Exchange Value."

    Customers ask for drinks, you can turn your EV inventory into ingredient cards that will help you fill the drinks' orders. You can only move cards on the same sort (ex: Milk card on Milk card). In front of the customers, there's an empty br where you can drop ingredients for thier drinks, you have to mkae sure that you can fill it with 10 of the same ingredients.

    that may be where I went wrong? I delivered something but it's only 9/10 and now everything is gray and I can't convert anything and there's nothing to sort and I can't fix the missing card

    and maybe I delivered the drinks to the wrong customer as well? but you can't change it

    five minutes into this event and I already hate it
    if you do one thing wrong you can't do anything else?

    You can convert EV tree fruits and crops by clicking the "+" on the right side of the button with the fridge on it. You will be able to click it afterwards and play some more cards.

    Well I finally got out of the rabbit hole that I went down first thing this morning. That was really really fun! Only did this on SL's farm. Haven't done it on this farm so far, but I might.

    For those still playing this game, the FAQ does not tell us, but there are a total of 10 levels. BUT, you are not limited once you reach the top of level 10, you can continue to earn points to purchase all the items you desire from the shop. I have everything I want from the shop and I am at 28 of 8 on level 10. Since I didn't realize what the maximum level was, I just kept playing. xD But the shop is empty of all the non-Alpen Glow rewards. Very nice change from other events where you had to be selective on what you purchased from the shop. :inlove:

    Be aware that if you have more items in the fridge and empty spaces in your ingredients, it is better to fill these up in order to get AEP when the event ends. The Edelweiss cards give EP, TEP and CC but not AEP. I am always trying to get more of Sunflower Hill opened by reaching another 5 levels, so even though the number is smaller, that AEP is more valuable to me.

    * What will happen with the leftover event goods?
    All the leftover goods will be exchanged after the event:
    • 1 Ingredient Point = 5 Alps EP;
    • 1 Ingredient Magnet = 192 CC;
    • 1 Sorting Tongs = 192 CC;
    • 1 Clean Up Sponge = 192 CC;
    • 1 Patron Seat = 960 CC;
    • 1 Planning Slot = 960 CC;
    • 1 Edelweiss Card = 50 EP + 50 CC + 50 TEP.
