Grumpiness abounds here as I have missed the six hour Baby Boom - it went from 2am to 8am NZDT. I see there is a twelve hour BBoom tomorrow (10pm to 10 am NZDT) so I will have to be happy with that. Is breeding the Only way to get a bleeding cutlass? Seems awfully preparatorily prerogative. >:(

I agree, there is no consideration for differing time zones or the fact that some of us have to work for $$$ to pay for our game farms! I missed the sales and baby-boom! Sorry, but I am not revolving my sleep time or life around sales , baby-booms or otherwise.
I do love the Carnival Queen event though :inlove:

Due to some buffs I had in inventory and the farmwheel being generous, I was able to complete the crops requirement fairly easily. I chose to do the quest instead of straight milling, but I do find that having a drop for the quest to come only from breeding or purchasing baskets to be a negative feature of the event.

In order for me to get the 58 cutlass, I had to do 2 full rounds of breeding. That is 528 Power Feed. I find that to be excessive considering we have a brand new breeding animal arriving in less than a week.

The number of star coins was generous as well allowing me to get some nice goodies from the event shop. The drop rate was also good and kept up with my crop bonuses.

    Overall, an ok event.

PnP mentioned a new breeding animal coming in less than a week. Which one is it please?

This round of Carnival Queen being on baha is wonderful. Thank you for holding it there instead of the main fields. The neon stables are nice, but other than that items that can be bought with star coins aren't that great imo. They don't seem like adequate rewards. It would have been better to be able to buy glue and at least one of the newer trees and stables instead of wonder trees and stables with slim chances to even receive one of the newer trees or stables. The CR is also not great and I'll just be using the givers instead of the CR itself. I've always loved this event though and I don't regret participating.

This event is lovely as always, it's been a fave for many years! As always I appreciate the good graphics, the fact that it is easy to distinguish between the coins and the star coins, the chance to choose how to participate and how much to participate - personally I like to keep going after I've gotten all the stated prizes, just to collect more goodies but it is nice that other players with more detailed goals for the Baha fields can go back to regular farming. As said above, the cutlass thing is a little mercenary, but again there were other ways to proceed so I don't really mind - it's not like it was necessary just to get to the cloud row. And the short term Baby Booms are just mean. There are players all over the world, plus people who work, so there really ought to be more chances for everyone to reap all benefits. I do find it to be a bit annoying that we seem to be reverting back to the bad old days where the givers themselves are more beneficial than putting them on the rows - if we all had unlimited space to put givers that would be fine, but the whole point of the cloud rows, I thought, was a synergystic more-than-the-sum-of-the-parts effect. Oh well, if that's my biggest complaint I'm doing just fine !
    :)

I like the event game- it is fun but not the required HUGH number of crops to play the HIGH number of games to get givers/cloud row. Again, I will just do what I can to get some low-level prizes as I do like the game but will be disappointed again. Years ago, it was not that difficult to complete events, especially when events were tied to holidays or similar events around the world (soccer/futball for instance). The prize cloud row may not have given much each time it was harvested but the sense of accomplishment of the event makes the results still enjoyable. I have several CRs from around 2013/2016 era and am happy I could obtain those as a casual and not a constant on-line farmer. Ahhh, the good 'ol days -.-

I liked that the event was on the Baha fields, I even cleared most of Crystal Falls and, using several buffs (from my Barn, the Wheel is a bit stingy with me at the moment), managed to finish the crops in three days. The drops came slow but sure. I did the FSQ instead of milling and understand the need to make it a little more difficult as there are extra prizes. :p

My only negative point is the cost of items to buy with our Star Coins - not really much you can buy with the amount of Star Coins the Queen gave us (my maximum was 55 though mainly I caught on average about 30) - either throw more Star Coins or drop the number of Star Coins for each item. :music:
That said, I really enjoyed the event, I felt no stress, was sure I could finish and, of course, loved the great graphics. :inlove:

I loved the new candy graphics, that just shows are the dev team is still working on events even if it has become a staple. I feel like I was a lucky one, I'd say my Star Coin average was around 50 per run. I did have quite a few with 60/65 Star Coins. I'm happy with what I could get in the event shop: I do not purchase wonder stalls and trees anymore, they just turn into garbage 35% of the time. I'm a crate man instead! :p

I do enjoy this event. However, I do agree, the amount of coins required to trade for wonder trees and stalls were too high considering they open up as disappointing junk most of the time.
As a positive, I appreciated all of the EP & TEP and being able to continue even though I finished both the support quest and main.
