Carnival Queen + "The Candy Conundrum" Carnival Support Quest

Yep, me too. I even have a 'warm-up' with just the cursor so my range on the mouse pad is optimal and still I let a precious star coin (5) get between basket and RH edge because of a 'freeze' ! Rather bothersome....

 

This "freezing" has happened in the previous versions too: for me it meant that I was pushing the cursor out of the standalone window. I'd suggest to raise the screen size for this mini game in particular. You may think that you are not pushing the cursor up or down, but I always found a way to do so in the end...

 

I am on full screen. And nope, cursor was in correct position. I too remember it from last year. I move it like a gentle feather and watch closely. It didn't just freeze in the corner - the corner was however more often than not. The basket would sit there and my cursor was still moving - even if the basket was in center screen.
Oh well, I had fun anyway.

 

I'm sory to hear that. But it is true that we have to be careful of what other program/screen is opened while we play and if we have started crafting items. That window popup to let us know that the CAC we've just made can popup during the mini game...

At least, there's a better chance of getting more Star Coins this time around, I've had quite a few mini games with 50 to 65 Star Coins. There's fewer super-grow, Suzy's super-grow and trubo mulch in this edition, but sooooo much more EP/TEP!

 

Yes happens to me too, normally when farm coins are up for grabs it seems. Hopefully it'll be fixed for future carnival queen events. I stay very conscious of how I move the mouse (and/or finger on pad), where I place it, etc. I've experimented a bunch but it seems like a technical glitch, nothing I'm causing.

I also forgot/didn't notice that the event ended today. Got three fields fully planted with event crop, step 6/6 unfinished (all three levels), and 20 baskets ready to harvest the goodies (which are now down the drain).

 

I made wrong "plantings" and A LOT of it! Att the end of the event i have 3 drops and over 17000 event plants... sorry about those who are missing plants...
