This is a mixed event that combines the Inspector Cluseau Event with the MM Floor Plan Event that we usually have. Everything is taking part on the main land this time around.

Players will have 13 days to complete the event:

Starts: Thursday, 26th of February at 14:00 CET (UTC+1)
Ends: Wednesday, 11th of March at 22:00 CET (UTC+1)

Event crop:Event drop 1:Event drop 2:Event mill item:
    Cheese Puff Plant
    [IMG]
Time: 5 hours and 30 minutes
    Gives (2x2): 220 EP
Plantable on the Main field and Green Meadow only!
    Chalk Stick
    [IMG]
You will get these drops when harvesting your trees on the main field and green meadow only.
You will receive 1 x Chalk Stick with each breeding process completed.
    Police Tape
    [IMG]
You will get these drops when harvesting your stables and workshops on the main field and green meadow only.
    Case File
    [IMG]
    Ingredients: 50 x Police Tape + 6 x Chalk Stick
    Time: 20 seconds
It can be produced in the main and tropical mills - Events feed tab!
Use the Case File to reduce the auto production cooldown time by 10%. A maximum of 5 Case Files can be applied each time. Please note that this will raise the amount of drops needed to complete the event.

    Part 1: Crime Scene

The first part of the event is the "Floor Plan Event". Players must go through the two floors to unlock timed tiles to be able to play Inspector's Cluseau mini games and collect Star Coins to spend in the event shop.

Each player will start with 1 Lock Pick :
On the two floors, players will find special tiles that have a cooldown time:

    Floor 1: OFFICEFloor 2: WORKSHOP
Tile 1: 3 x Paw Print Cards. Cooldown Time: 10 Hours
Tile 23: 20 x Star Coins. Cooldown Time: 20 Hours
Tile 32: 3 x Paw Print Cards. Cooldown Time: 10 Hours
Tile 9: 20 x Star Coins. Cooldown Time: 20 Hours
Tile 29: 3 x Paw Print Cards. Cooldown Time: 10 Hours
Tile 36: 20 x Star Coins. Cooldown Time: 20 Hours

Players get to chose if the want to start on floor 1 OFFICE or floor 2 WORKSHOP:

    Floor 1: OFFICE
    using event crops
    Floor 2: WORKSHOP
    using event drops
    [IMG] [IMG]
Start with Lock Pick on Tile 11

Activating the two 2 x Paw Print Cards tiles:

    Tiles 20-19-18-17-23*-16-15-9-4-3-2-1*-5
    needed 16814 Cheese Puff Plants

    Activating one Star Coins tile:

    Tiles 24-30-37-36-35-34-33-
    32*
    needed
    7073 Cheese Puff Plants

    TOTAL:
    23887 Cheese Puff Plants
Start with Lock Pick on Tile 10

Activating the 2 x Paw Print Cards Tile:

    Tiles 11-19-25-24-29*
needed 19 Chalk Sticks + 88 Police Tapes

Activating the two Star Coins Tiles:

Option 1 (more drops from stalls): Tiles 26-30-31-32-33-34-35-36*-28-22-17-18-9*
needed 90 Chalk Sticks + 201 Police Tapes

Option 2 (more drops from trees): Tiles 12-13-14-15-16-17-18-9*-22-28-35-36*
needed 265 Chalk Sticks + 175 Police Tapes

    Total with Option 1:
109 Chalk Sticks +289 Police Tapes

    Total with Option 2:
    284 Chalk Sticks + 263 Police Tapes
Opening every tiles on the Floor 1:

    35027 Cheese Puff Plants
Opening every tiles on Floor 2:

    458 Chalk Sticks + 308 Police Tapes
It is difficult to say which of Option 1 or Option 2 is better because of the unknown drop rates for trees, stalls and workshops.

    STAR COIN EVENT SHOP:

The most important thing is that the Cloud Row can only be bought with 240 Star Coins!

A set of the three needed givers can be bought for another 260 more Star Coins. All three givers can also be won by playing the second part of the event.

A special giver can be bought with 120 Star Coins (not needed for the cloud row):

    Accumulate Evidence (+)
Gives: 240000 EP / TEP, 1 x Crate O' Buffs, 40% extra EP when harvesting "event" crops on main playfields for 4 hours
    Time: 36 hours
    Size: 2x2
placeable on the 3 main and 3 tropical lands, park, the lighthouse, sunflower hill, shipwreck bay, castaway coast, pet playground, pet resort, (cloudrow once charges are used)

Accumulate Evidence (+) is a limited Charge item. It has 3 charges only.

*Note: It will be deleted if removed from the field (even if there are charges left) however, it will be replaced with a copy of the giver item, but it will hand out 200000 EP / TEP + 40% extra EP when harvesting "event" crops on main playfields for 4 hours every 36 hours!

    Part 2: Investigation

There is another drop for this part of the event:

    Magnifying Glass
    [IMG]
You will get these drops when harvesting your trees on the main field and green meadow only.

To play the mini game, players will need the Paw Prints Cards obtained in Part 1:

Each mini-game costs 1 x Paw Print Cards to play!

To get all three givers needed for the Cloud Row, players must play 44 mini games.

This is the "normal" Inspector Mouseau Event that players know with the same three mini games (Find All Items, Find 10 Items and Spot the Differences).

Each mini game played with give out a score that will be added to the players' total points. The prize charts are not that great this time around except:

24255 Total Points: 1 "Piccolo" Wonder Box
25865 Total Points: 1 Hoopoe Nest
27570 Total Points: 1 Crate O' Workshops (see here)

Many must ask themselves why they should try this venture? Because the Cloud Row can be a powerful one over time:

A Study in Cheese Magic Stalk Row
    [IMG]
Gives: 21000 EP x Farm level, 3600 TEP x Baha level, 2 x Suzy's turbo-mulch, +1 extra revenue when harvesting all trees for 4 hours
    Cooldown Time: 44 hours
Requires the three event items shown plus any one 1x1 deco item and any one 2x2 deco item

    EXTRA:

A special item can be used to raise the total points players get from playing a mini game:

    Cheese Sandwich
    [IMG]
Use the Cheese Sandwich before a mini-game to boost your score by 10%.
    Good luck everyone!

They can be found in the Large Investigator Basket sold for €34.99 or equivalent in your currency. There is also 1 offered as a prize on Floor 1: OFFICE Tile #18 and Floor 2: WORKSHOP Tile #14.
    Good luck everyone!

EDIT: All numbers have be updated with the new FAQ.

Thank you Nordais for all your hard work starting this thread!:inlove: I will start with the Office and see how that works.
I am NOT a fan of these events BP keeps combining, as for me they take the fun out of doing each event on their own! Good luck to all who are doing this and I hope we reach our goals!:music:

Thanks, Northy for All the info! I have birch trees out (a bit longer than most trees) and the rest is long-time stables. I will probably do some instant animals as I have the required five flower-spray-arts to do this and that will give me a great start on drops for opening floor two (Workshop).

:music:Good luck to All and I hope you achieve your goals!!:inlove:
Edit 1: Right. I have enough police tapes, but chalk sticks are sadly, lacking. Out with the stables and in with the trees. And with turbo mulch, that will happen in seven hours... oh, manure... ( the best laid plans of mice and men...)xD

Thank you Northy for crunching those numbers for us and to Chamomile* for the added advice. You are both so kind to use your time to help everybody! ;)

I was a bit befuzzled by the FAQs, no change there then, but once I realised we didn't "have" to mill 60 Case Files, all becomes a little clearer and more reasonable. :p

I got started with animals but I will now probably change one field to trees and see what happens overnight. If we have a HDD, I may try and boost my drops with some breeding. I will leave the plants as I have boosters that I can use for those. :music:

Having said I am doing it, I am not overwhelmed by the prizes, more "Wonder" things that hold such great promise and then end up being a Yellow Beaver pen.:wuerg: The best prize, the Hoopoe Nest, is so far along the list, don't think I will get that far. :D
I will do what I can with this event, enjoy the mini-game and any rewards I collect along the way. xD

    Good luck all.:inlove:

Thanks Chamomile* for those numbers. Could you just add a mention that for your strategy you need to start first with the Worskhop to get the second lock pick? Else, if players start with the Office, they need to get the lock pick on Tile #5.

EDIT: Requirements have be changed for the entire event just 15 minutes before the event starts. I will come up with new numbers over this evening in about 12 hours from this post.

Well I'm a befuddled mess and have no idea what I'm doing. I would like the season points and other very nice prizes from this event, but I don't think I'm going to have the time to devote to it as RL has thrown my family a curveball of epic proportions.

Don't count on me for drops. I may do what I can here and there, but I really don't know.

Good luck to all who decide to participate.

I already messed up my plan. I had thought to open the Workshop first and then the Office but contributed the Lock Pick to the Office. ;):music::cry: I had put out all storage buildings and filled one field with stables and the other with trees. I did a few rounds of instant animals so I could get the Workshop open and start those autoproduction tiles.

Now, I need to switch to crops and work my way over to the tile with the Lock pick. Sadly, it is too many crops to reach today so I feel I am a bit behind just 2.75 hours into this event. I do believe with a 2 week duration and the revised requirements, there is time to make mistakes and adjust accordingly.

Wishing everyone who participates all the best.

I'm after the cloud row. Normally for Hidden Object Games, there is typically a prize worth working hard to reach, but I'll be satisfied with the cloud row. The rest of the prizes along the way are ok, but not absolute 'must haves.'

PM- I hope real life gets better for you. Best wishes to you and your family.

Thank you Northy for such a detailed chart and Chamomile for the strategy. Both of you are always helping us :inlove:

I must be the only farmerama player who does not enjoy this minigame, because i never find anything no matter how many times i see a scenario. -.- Until now, my "strategy" (if you can call it so) had been workin a lot in order to make more games and get right side

prizes. It seems to me that it will be impossible in this version. :(
Anyway, i'm in (as always xD) and wish everyone reach their goals!

Also "distantly" related to this event because a lot of plants are needed here - has anyone ever seen today 26th February:

    +100% harvest of everything
    +200% harvest of everything
    -rewards in Party Ticket spins?

I'm not (seen those) either my man, not even one of those was available at once, let alone that I could have gotten it as a reward...

My strategy for getting the most amount of star coins from the repeatable bonus tiles is:-
Morning. Wake Up (a good start to any strategy!)
    Two. Open any 'ready' tiles.
Assess whether to use case files (worth 2 hrs each on the 20hr tiles)
at 50 police tapes (+6 chalk) each they are expensive!
    Relax for ten hours...
The point I am trying to make, be-it somewhat clumsily, is that each case file is worth ten percent time discount, regardless of whether it is applied at the start or the end, if needed!
    Phew!:D

Good whatever part of the day it is where you are. For me it's morning. So many things have changed for my DH and me in the last few days. And moving forward, more is going to change. My MIL had a stroke on Tuesday afternoon. She survived, but... So we have stepped in to care for FIL, etc.

I've decided that I'm going to try to keep my farms going as best as I can...but as I said yesterday, don't count on me for gifts, etc. Farmerama might be the one thing that hasn't/doesn't change.
