This is a small timed quest on Bahamarama that lasts only for 4 days. Players must harvest 2 different animal stalls, two different crops and fill donations of drops inbetween.

Players must have statues activated in the Golden Banana Temple to be able to complete this event:

Parrot Statue: Room 2, Statue #1 in middle row
Octopus Statue: Room 14, Statue #1 in bottom row
Devil's Claw Statue: Room 2, Statue #4 in bottom row
Bell Pepper Statue: Room 6, Statue #3 in upper row

This event offers 4 Victorian Greenhouse Upgrades!

    Event Drop:

    Hourglass
    [IMG]
You will get this drop when harvesting the Bahamarama Plantation, from crops and trees.

You have a medium chance of receiving 2 x Hourglasses with each breeding process completed.

Do not forget to activate the timer before harvesting, this could cost you a lot of time.

Animal & crop harvests can be done from all three Bahamarama Fields:

    Plantation
    Rainforest
    Crystal Falls

Step 1:Harvest 80 Parrots in less than 7 hours
    Step 2:Donate 30 Hourglasses
Step 3:Harvest 44 Octopuses in less than 6 hours
    Step 4:Donate 60 Hourglasses
Step 5:Harvest 1200 Devil's Claws in less than 7 hours
    Step 6:Donate 90 Hourglasses
Step 7:Harvest 1300 Bell Peppers in less than 6h 40m
    Step 8: Donate 180 Hourglasses

There is not cloud row to be won here, only one special giver:

    Spring has Sprung (+)
Gives: 12000 EP x Farm level or 12000 TEP x Baha level
    Time: 8 hours
    Size: 1x1
placeable on the 3 main and 3 tropical lands, park, the lighthouse, sunflower hill, shipwreck bay, castaway coast, pet resort, (cloudrow once charges are used)

Spring has Sprung (+) is a limited Charge item. It has 20 charges only.

*Note: It will be deleted if removed from the field (even if there are charges left) however, it will be replaced with a copy of the giver item, but it will hand out 1000 EP x Farm level or 1000 TEP x Baha level only, every 8 hours!

Extra tip: breeding is also needed for the Midnight Race III Event, combining the two should help with the Hourglass drops in this event! :D

    Good luck everyone!

Thanks, yet again, Nordais, for making everything crystal clear. ;)

I had it all sussed out, starts tomorrow so don't need to put out any Parrots till tomorrow morning, they will be ready in time - doh! Forgot and started putting them out on the Rainforest this afternoon. Luckily, I have put Saguaro on the Baha Plantation so I will be half right! Oh well, you can never have enough Parrots! xD
    Good luck everybody! ;)

A word to the wise for those who have not done any or many timed events - get them (or the first lot) ready then activate the timer, then harvest, prepare the second donation if you are doing it in two lots. Donate the Hourglasses if you have enough, then prepare the next item, activate the timer and then harvest. Repeat till the event is done. :p

This event is easily achievable in the time given. If you don't have enough animals to fill a field, buy more pens*, they are not too expensive, especially Parrots, 96,000 CCs if you buy ALL 80 Parrot Pens* and 44 Octupii Pens* will cost less than 1 million CCs, which you wouldn't need as you can do both these in two lots. Same with the crops, if you can't fill a field, buy more seeds* but always have something ready to harvest before you start the timer. :music:

    * Edits to make myself clearer. :D

I have never purchased any of the animals or crops for timed events- How does that work?

Do you purchase after you start the timer? I have a bunch of the animals for this event in the barn already and I know those do not count and I never tried to fulfill a timed quest with a purchase....

If this is the short way to complete any of the timed quests, I have a lot of quests to finish in a short timexD

I think Illy means buy enough pens. Put out the pens, when they are ready to harvest activate the timer before you harvest.

I have finished and updated the Victorian Greenhouse. Good luck and happy farming.

Yes, that's what I meant to say - buy enough pens/crops to fulfill the requirement or, if you are short of CCs, buy enough pens/crops to do half the amount - wait till they are ready to harvest and then activate the timer. ;)

By the way, thanks farmerumf for reminding me to update the Victorian Greenhouse, I finished the event and forgot all about it! xD

Agree with Farmerumf, and I did the same and completed the event today. Make sure you have enough feed milled for all the critters. If you have lots of coins, buy stables and yellow upgrades to fill each field...more than needed, but I always err on the side of caution because I am miserable at math!

The day before the event began, I cleared my Baha Plantation of all stables as I harvested them. I had long grow trees around the perimeter and used 1x1 plots which I planted with my longest grow crop. Depending on your level, there can be quite a time difference between your longest growing crop and other higher level players. My longest crops are Ixora and Saguaro at 24hrs each. I planted Ixora because it gives more TEP and is prettier :D

I used water, poo, and super grow to shorten the time to be ready for harvest when the event went live. That gave me about 90 hourglasses and then I did breeding to get most of the remaining. I had a good stock of PF because I'm milling at least one all the time (with the Mill subscription, milling time is reduced.). After the first harvest of crops for drops, I cleared my three Baha fields of all except few trees and some givers. Then I put down as many Parrots as I could fit on each field. Fed, watered, and just before I harvested, used a +1 stable buff. I also used +1 crop buff and a Pinkest Pie to extend their time. Initially I used a +2 Harvest bonus in the Diamond slot and the other two in Gold slots. When the Diamond buff ran out, I used a CAC in Diamond.

When all the Parrots were ready to harvest, I began the timer and collected enough to move to the next step for hourglasses. I repeated this strategy with the Octopus stables, Devil's Claw, and Bell Peppers. I think this event is much easier for those who have accumulated a lot of coins and buffs. It took me a few years before I was able to develop a strategy that worked for me...but I'm a slow learner and usually don't pay for anything except the Harvest Helper and Mill Subscription when they're on sale. I wish you good results in the event!

PS in addition to the greenhouse upgrades, don't forget to put out the giver if you use them. I put mine in the Baha Park :)

That phrasing can be confusing: if players have enough free space, the should by enough of the animal pens to fill the 80 parrots/44octopuses (ie 80 parrot houses or 44 octopus pools - less if they have stall upgrades). For crops, players should place 1x1 plots to harvest the devil's claw and bell pepper. If players do not have enough of these two crops in inventory, they should 1) buy what they can in the seed shop and 2) go to their markets to have enough seeds to fill their 1x1 plots. Buying seeds does not count towards filling orders.

I have Rainforest and Crystal Falls in givers, so I am working only with Baha plantation.

To prepare for the event, I planted 24 hour crops for a good drop start. 188 drops :)

For the stables, I filled the field with upgrades and completed the timed section for parrots and octopus without any trouble.

Due to a late start for medical appointments, it would have been past my normal end of farming day when the devil's claw would have been ready, so I opted for another long crop overnight (drops) and now have devil's claw growing. I was fortunate to get a farmwheel bonus so it will be ready in one harvest vs needing 2 harvests.

I have plenty of drops to finish so once the bell pepper is done later this afternoon, this event will be completed.

Best wishes to those still working :)

Could those of you who're done please join my little extra quest to fill the market shelves with needed animal feed? (Provided you don't need your mills for anything else that's urgent, naturally.)

I have completed this event, It was quiet easy to do, providing planning out this event only on the timed quests.

Parrots, You only need out out 40 Parrots Stalls with Yellow Upgrades which can be brought cheaply from the Store. Any one who has 100% Stable place it in Gold Slot this helps double up your Parrots

Same 100% Stable Buff can double up your Octopuses which only needs 22 Octopus and Yellow upgrades

Do not fret too much with Hourglass Drops as my Breed huts was full ready for Breeding as they give Hourglass as Drops not just Aviator Googles

I won 100% Crop Buff Booster from Crate O Buffs as this helps as you can win it on Farmerama Wheel or Even win +1 for 6 hours that helps too ;):p

Don't forget use Tiki Timer... Reduces Baha Veg Crops by 20% it helps those Bell Peppers and use lablab Beans to boost Hourglass Drops ;)

I was not going to do this event BUT I found time and started it Fri afternoon and to my surprize I just finished it!
A reminder to put your curtains out (the Victorian Greenhouse upgrades) and the 1x1 giver called Spring has Sprung (+)
Good luck, and as always, a BIG Thanks to Nordais for your helpful strategy posts!

Finished on my oldest farm. Almost done on a second farm. Progressing on the 3rd and 4th farms. Brain malfunction forgot to start timer on Octopus on this farm and will have a slight delay before getting that step done.

All done on this farm and SL's. Put Ixora out overnight on plantation field and put the parrots out on rainforest to start. Then changed as needed. Finished up this morning letting the bell peppers grow overnight. Both farms got lucky with wheel bonuses and used 100% bonuses for animals in a gold buff spot.

Where/How do we fill the market shelves. I went looking yesterday and couldn't find it. Likely looking in the wrong place, but I thought I'd seen it sometime somewhere. :p

One more question...can we only buy/sell in our own market?

You can only buy/sell on your own market. So can only help someone who is on the same market as you.

When you've reached the market square, you're in "product overview", you'll need to head to "make offer" (third option in the upper tabs), at the left hand side you can choose the options you're looking for, you'll need to switch to Baha Market (click on the regular market icon so it'll switch to Baha Market instead of just including it), select "animals" (it should say "crops" as you start out?) and switch "basic animals" to "animal feed".
It'll then show you your feed stocks and you can select to offer all the feed you plan to offer for the price you'd like to sell it for.
(To select a feed, the lower left corner has an arrows sign that lets you switch, for me "level" is the most useful as it groups my usual feed sales together, but you can also just use the "search" field.)
If you aren't sure which price you want to use you can just use the price it suggests to you. On my market the suggested Parrot Feed price is ~30000 (2 apples cost around 1600-2000 if you buy them at the market -obviously cheaper if you have room for a couple of apple trees-, 3 grapes cost 42 in the seed shop + 3000 market fee + mill time) and ~35000 for Octopus Feed (1 Saguaro 455 + 1 Bonnet Cactus 240 + 1 Bitter Ginger 325 + 3500 market fee + mill time) -so a neat profit on both unless you really, really value your mill time- but as BlackCaviar already confirmed, we're not all on the same market so prices might be different on yours. Demand might be, too.
Oh, "per unit" is where you alter the price, "Number of goods" will allow you to say how many you want to sell in one batch and "offer packages" lets you select how many batches you want to sell.
It's well worth checking the market shelves (in product overview) to see if there are any empty slots you can fill as that's often what's needed by your fellow players. (Can't really go wrong with wheat and carrots to start out. They tend to sell at 500-1000 per unit depending on how busy the market is and you can get wheat at 2 and carrots at 3 per unit in the seed shop or can grow them in 8 minutes if you water your crops.) -And naturally having a nice nest egg helps if you want to buy a bunch of new stables for a quest.-
Just do keep in mind that you pay a 10% market fee on your proposed turnover that you'll lose if your items won't sell. (Your items will be returned.) So keep your prices close to -or preferably below- what other players are asking for.

@Jarrow and @Octroo Thank you both so much for clarifying the Market questions. I was looking for the animal feed area and had no idea it was nestled amongst the 'Animals' selection! I shall take a look and see what my fellow Marketeers are looking for/selling :D

Yes, we are restricted to just the one market and the same goes for G&T event, confined into the same market/crowd.-.-

For players who are still working on this event, do not forget to go back and fill the last drop donation of level 8 after harvesting your bell pepper... You will probably change fields and it might slip your mind. If the little event character is still appearing on the Baha plantation, it means that you still have to fill donation(s). Once you completed all eight levels, it will dissapear.

For me, this event was much easier than i thought because i was very lucky with the wheel and had animal bonuses in the pantry. Both combined helped with both events. Drops were an issue, but with 3 Ixoras harvests, problem solved. ;):)
