I love that we now have a third mill to use for milling event stuff. I thought that the Eerie Mill might disappear when M.Mania closed...:inlove:

Finally, we have an event field designed for 2 x 2s !
Ditto to that! You might think there was a war on !

Maybe it is just me, BUT I think to pay 6 BB's to send a wrench to a neighbor after you have used your nightly gifts is
    plain greedy!

I always enjoy these pipe type events, and having this one on the event field, with the way it is set up, works just fine. i also enjoy the spawning critters making things even more interesting. My only complaint about this event is there is no direct access to the mill to make the pipes needed to play.

Thank you to Brookeham for the tip below! I saw it right after I posted. Quite handy!

Just click the + button under the required pipes to make. It takes you right to mill then press back...and you're back at pipes

I like having a dedicated field, I find it difficult to stay on top of what is needed otherwise. My only feedback so far is that I find the wrench really hard to get... I get a few each time I harvest but it doesn't seem to be enough, I have been waiting to get enough to do the 7th level of the bunny pipe game and I never get enough (I don't want to have to purchase them), despite having enough of the event crops otherwise. I wonder if increasing the number of dropped pipes would be a possibility to consider next time.

I don't know your field situation, but if you have both the Main and Meadow fields fully open/cleared, put down 1x1 plots and overnight plant your longest grow crop which should give you a good drop rate. Conventional wisdom is that long grow crops (more than trees) gives the best result. Before I stop my farming day which is usually around 9pm/2100, I'll plant a crop that I can harvest around 8am/0800 the next day. Then I use water and manure to shorten harvest time. Before planting, I'll use a buff to shorten the time for the category of crop I'm sowing. My longest crop is Amaranth (30hr), but I don't usually use it unless I have a good supply of SG to cut the time in half. This time, I'm lazy and have been planting my last crop of the day around 4pm and use a longer growing crop with just water and manure and I harvest a bit later the next day. My subsequent plantings during the day are usually 8-10 hr crops.

I also prefer the dedicated field for the event and one reason my drop rate is not so great is that I didn't tear down my main and meadow fields - just used the plots in place which means I'm using about half the space for crops. But, I can harvest the event field about 3xs/day and my other fields twice a day. I'm working on lvl 11, so expect I'll manage to finish doing Chamomile's eco version. I wish you success and that you can find a way to increase your drop rate.

So far I like this event as I am using the strategy from our wonderful helper farmers- thank you so much!!!!

Only thing I would have the devs fix is the position of the curved pipe/ straight pipe in the mill to match the position in the event. The mill shows the curved pipe on the right side but in the event it is on the left side. I realize you can click the Plus sign in the event, it goes to the correct pipe to be milled in the mill screen but if you go to the mill at any point you might mill the wrong one.

Thank you! That is really helpful. It could be why I am not seeing the results I want; my longest crop is probably 18 hours, and planted overnight, but I prioritise shorter crops (4, 5 hours) during the day. My fields are all a mix of crops, trees and animals and I don't really want to tear everything down either :)

am I missing something?? I'm on level 10, will get 34 more star coins but need 76 - I only used the coins on the cloud row and the 2 lower cost cr items and have 4 coins remaining...I received the coins on each level (I let the game create the paths)...don't know what I did wrong.... :(

I don't think you did anything wrong . You need to do the 1st 12 then REPLAY the 1st 7 to get all the star coins you need ! Good luck

I also, like marymac50 was wondering what I did wrong. Thought I would finish tomorrow with lvl 12, but no, still must slog on and replay 1-7?!:wuerg::(

I am enjoying this event though in the end I won't get all the things I want - I cannot do more that three harvests a day, that should won't because I think I spend enough time on the farm and I need to have a cut-off somewhere. :p
I like the layout of the event field and the animations are very cute but they are very, very stingy with those pipes! :wuerg:

One other thing about those critters, the bunny often seems to be by the water tower and if I am not very careful, that opens instead of the gift giving window.:sleepy:

Only one other criticism - the window where we lay the pipes has a cross at the top right which I keep clicking by mistake and logging myself out, I know, there is a little sign "Back" but I always go for the cross! It's me but I wish that, like many events, the cross would take us out of the play area. :music:

Other than that, a nice event, especially over two weeks when a lot of people will be busy with family. Nice prizes and things to buy with our coins. :inlove:
