Feedback Farmerama - Game and Features

I Agree with EVERYTHING 007Farming- I do love this game- graphics and the farming and I did leave the game for a bit and came back- yes all the same compliments, complaints, and suggestions but I will add that the cloud rows are more "powerful" than the first few years but to obtain them now are super difficult with requirements that are much higher than in the past. The current Easter event- I will not be able to obtain the cloud row as I do not farm 4 times a day!!! but still enjoyed it.

 

Just want to say that I have received my first Stubfoot Toad pen from wonder stables won in the Easter event and it might be my new favorite pen, looks-wise! Well done!

Also would like to add my voice to the above comments on the MasterClass - I wasn't bothering with the daily stuff, if it happened during the course of normal farming, it happened. But who doesn't like the idea of being a Master? So I've been doing the MasterClass, got my level three and ... it's tedious. For the reasons stated above, I am rapidly losing interest. Probably will go back to ignoring it. However, there are players for whom this sort of challenge is perfect, so I hope it stays, for them.

 

I just got a MasterClass task to plant peppermint (177 to harvest) in the Green Meadow- which is a needed field for the Time Machine event. What a way to upset players even further. The events are already impossible with the high requirements and now something I was trying to accomplish with the MasterClass conflicts with the event (I am attempting to try to get something out of the event no matter how small).

Makes this increasingly frustrating to have the satisfaction of completing something from the game other than just farming. Our feedback does not seem to be heard at all.

 

My particular dislike is to fill all the orders of one customer on Eidleweiss Valley as I find it nearly impossible but I pay 6 PF and get another task, normally something that suits me better. I know PF is a special item and not many like to "waste" it but this is a way round breaking your chain in Masterclass.

 

I'm all in favour of the Masterclass sticking around for players who want to play it, but I wished there was an option to decline pop-ups about it. (I'm sure they're helpful reminders if you want to play, but it'd be great if you could tick "I'd like to see pop-up alerts about the Masterclass" -or opt out of receiving them-.)
-It remains frustrating to try and play this if you have far too few things unlocked to successfully complete the later levels without needing to use PF that is currently rather important for the weekend quests.-
Oh and it would really, really be great if the game checked if the requested item is at all reasonable. The other day I was supposed to breed 7 Inked Darklight Fireflies while Moonlight's not running and I had exactly 1 DLF, not ~28. (Truth be told, I wouldn't have used them as I need them for a quest just now, but that doesn't change the fact that I couldn't have procured them in any way since you can't buy DLF at the market and I couldn't rear them myself either.)

 

Yes the popups are annoying, but I realized that if I start the masterclass and the countdown is 90 hours, I will not get popups about it for that duration if I do not fill that first order. I will get a new popup afte that to let me know that there are new masterclasses, so it is just a small break, but it is better that nothing.

Same for the daily orders, I play with the standalone and those orders will freeze my game until I get the screen to let me know they are done... I have stopped looking at them and I'm not even contemplating doing the masterclasses... I started doing the Season events this January and even that is starting to be a bit much....

 

Master Class might be better for players like me who are skipping events and don't have the conflicts those who are trying to complete events are facing. I completed my most recent series of Master Class within 30 hours (maybe less, I forget). No breeding at all and I wasn't aware I'd done all six tasks as I kept expecting a breeding task. The timer to complete this set of Master Class tasks runs out in 17 hours and I think I'll get a new set then. My focus recently has been City and Master Class tasks, Season, and EV...all of which allow me to go at my own pace which works best for my RL situation. When I don't have an ongoing event, my enjoyment of the game and ability to focus on what I need to do in RL are much more balanced and less stressful (for me). I appreciate that the game provides a wide range of activities and I can pick and choose. Being a relatively new player and being retired are advantages I believe I have over some other players.

 

I tend to finish the Masterclass within a day or two too, working out what I need for the first one and winging it from there. As said, if there is something I don't want to do, I am happy to use 6 PF to get another option.

Today the daily Daily Projects wanted me to harvest 2 breedings and also spend BBs so I spent 1 BB to get rid of the breedings one and got something that I will definitely do without changing my routine!

 

I have just started a new 'Masterclass' and the first request was to use 51 manure on the main field. I just happened to be listing some manure at the market and that completed the request! Maybe it should have read;-

"Do something with manure!"​

 

Maybe they could include the original language tasks as they sure aren't translating clearly as I just learned trying to harvest 42 monkey on the Rainforest. I had the correct field and put down sufficient stables last night, but added my upgrades (orange and pink) and not one of the harvested critters counted towards completing the task...talk about 'monkey business'!

I have the "Project Swap" that has built up to over 100 of them, so no need to use pf. Do you not have these?

 

I've only 10 and never used one as I thought they were for premium subscribers and didn't want to test it and get something worse than the one I was swapping for! In retrospect, I've never swapped any task, just powered on with whatever comes next.

Now I'm paying more attention and hopefully don't repeat mistakes that I or others have made. I did put down base monkey stables and let them come to harvest with nothing other than feed, because we do have to feed them! No water for them, cheeky rascals. This time, they did count for the task. My next task is to harvest 51 sorb apples on the Green Meadow. Put down base only trees with no fertilizer and will see what tomorrow brings as it takes them 18 hrs to be ready. (and I do wonder how they decide the number of items...why 51 and not 50...is there some secret algorithm that determines numbers?)

I would really like to know what can/can't be used towards filling these tasks.
