I have a question.

At the beginning of the event, we can only access the Shimmering Mushroom Cave. The Emerald Grotto will be unlocked 6 days later.

Once the Emerald Grotto is live, will the Shimmering Mushroom Cave and its prizes still be available, or will they be closed?

You should post your question into the "General Issues" section. It is not clear if the Shimmering Cave will still be opened as prizes are listed as week 1 and week 2 which suggests that the Shimmering Mushroom Cave would close. But, from the previous edition of this event,both were opened in the second week.

 

Question: How many levels are there in the SMC? I'm not sure I understand the goals after one has done 10/10 and gotten the three givers and Piccolo box. There are other things we can do, but I was thinking they are extra if we want the associated rewards. There's no 'need' to completely clear a board? Seems like a lot of time and effort as we use so much stamina clearing tiles and the backpack.

If doing the 10/10 and growing crops to get more coffee in preparation for the next round is all that's 'needed', then I'd like to return to regular farming and restocking. Could anyone please clarify this. Thanks so much and wish everyone success.

As players mentioned earlier, AT LEAST lasti time, both were still playable after the second area/quest/section opened.

Those who have already completed many (almost all) of the MM-World quests in the Association, it doesn't matter to them to grow even that Event Plant over 30,000 pieces.

At least I only grow it myself, I got 100,000, currently only 14,000++ (there were Super-Drops in stock, green ones) over 4,000 at the beginning of the event, now 2,300 even though it took me about 1 hour to wait for the fields, once used (still using the remaining 2 hours) Jack O Gift x2.

In real life I had to take a course as an unemployed person, of course we have GREAT protection here for the unemployed, but luckily that course is about Multimedia skills and the kind of things you need in your free time, so I didn't have to take a book printing course or self-sufficient farming for example

Because of that course, the village should be able to sleep off the sleep debt this weekend, but a big TV consumer of sports can't, when the World Snooker Championship starts at 12:00 on our Saturday and broadcasts will probably be available to watch from 12:00, 16:30 and 21:00, always at least about 3 hours at a time, so "enough" to do even for the wasted time, on the course you have time to relax when OF COURSE you go with the slowest (beginner course) in the teacher's presentation and advice.

So that All the best, so to speak, "On the Back of the Night" from here on out repairing the fields in the middle of the night To Everyone!

 

I do think there is an infinite amount of levels in the Shimmering Mushroom Cave, you could spend your Stamina on only ropes to go down a laywer. There is no real benefice to continue playing, even more so that you did not upgrade your backpack. For me the random prize from the gift box is more appealing than playing the mini games. Preparing for next week seems the best option to make sure you spend enough stamina to get the cloud row, at least that is my opinion.

 

I have done as much of the first bit and am going back to normal farming. I may need to grow more crops, as I think I squandered too many on the first bit. I am finding if difficult to find out where I am and what I have won so far and as for that having to keep refilling the stamina, it drives me mad. Other than that I enjoy playing Mahjong.

 

@Nordais (Preparing for next week seems the best option to make sure you spend enough stamina to get the cloud row, at least that is my opinion.)

Hi, Northy, my brain is still tired - we've had a busy weekend and I'd appreciate confirmation that my understanding of what's needed for the next stage of the event is correct.

I checked my inventory and it shows I have 29 strong coffee and one climbing rope.
When I first checked before posting, it showed 14 strong coffee, so I bought 3 more for 1500 crops and now it shows I have 29 strong coffee?

How do they count strong coffee? I am totally confused as 14 + 3 = 17 as far as I know.

Why did it jump from 14 strong coffee in inventory to 29 when I only exchanged 3 (500 crops for 1 strong coffee and I did 1500 crops for 3)?

Each 500 event crop you spend gives 5 Strong Coffees, so if you spent 1500 event crops, that is 3 x 5 Stong Coffees + 14 already in inventory = 29 *pushes a reeaallllyyy strong coffee to MC, maybe you should have one*

I now understand my confusion...as I was counting 3 thinking I was getting three more strong coffee rather than 15....Does this mean I have enough strong coffee for the final event? Still need those 9500 crops?...maybe a nap will help now that the coffee has worn off

 

I played the first week on my baby farm and I realized that some of the stamina use does not count in the total spent. I do not know what tho: is it the rope to go down one layer, the emptying of the backback, etc...

If you have obtained the three givers, then you are fine for this week. The 9500 crops are needed for next week just to have enough strong coffees, that total does not take into account the event crops needed to purchase the ropes to go down.

 

For the first week, I purchased 23 coffee plus the 100 stamina that was booked to start is 2400 stamina.

I have 20 left so I used 2380 stamina but the event shows I have used 1960. Enough to finish week 1. So, yes, some stamina used does not count and I am guessing it is the backpack. I think everything used on the actual game board probably does count, but maybe someone can test a before/after count of using a rope.

I have 9k crops for week 2 ready, but will need to make more if I am correct in that it is the backpack not counting. Week 2 gives star coins that we use in the event shop so we will have to collect the prize tiles (ribbon/bow) and empty the backpack.

The event shop schedule is very restrictive. We already have to wait until the 2nd week for it to open and then the prizes are available in 24 hour increments. Not sure what the point of that is. I do have the advantage of a flexible schedule, but not everyone does.

Does the strong coffee remaining from this week carry over to the next week?

 

I think we keep everything we have, Meadowcrossing. At least I hope so.

I've grown a lot of crops on SL's farm. Have gone back to normal farming there for now. Can grow more, if I need more. This farm has done a little spelunking, but still have around 15,000 crops in stock, so I think I'm good for the second half, too, but will keep growing the event crop some, too.

There are options here for "some and some" - we can put event crop on one field and regular MM crops on the other. It doesn't have to be an "all or nothing" thing. I have also done one round, both fields, of event crop with green goo and propellers first thing in the morning and then switched to regular MM crops for the rest of the day (because I'm still coming and going and NOT sewing).

Yesterday was the big spring meeting for the farmer's market. The DH and I are NOT ready, but he is insisting that we will be and we are going to do the market. Okey, dokey. I see a lot of late nights in my future. If I don't post a lot, it's cuz he locked me in the dungeon, er, basement. I was in a pretty good place 2 months ago - had just finished cutting market bags. Um, that's where I'm at now. And we have 6 weeks to the first market.

 

I started 'enjoying' the minigame too much, so had to be more pragmatic to save resources for next week.

I can't see the point of the shop schedule either.

 

Waiting part 2 - with 9188 Event Crops "and counting" more from small plots every time
(not mentioned how much Stamina with lightnings, I don´t count it).

Done 10/10 and 17/17.
It will be easy to do 1950 stamina.

Then the shop... we will see..
even I think quite poor prizes, doing all and hope Crate O Buffs and so from Backback...
