Please use Feedback thread only for feedback. There is so much chitchat in now. Then we have to wade through so many posts to see what feedback is.

I'm utterly disgusted with the new daily gift prices for gifting our neighbours! Everything switched to BBs???!!! How is this supposed to help "create neigbours' interactions" when we now have to spend real cash for BBs??!! And please, do not mention the monthly giver or the floral wire/sugar/salt/mandrake that are free, they are worthless and only clugging inventory!

Add to that the news that there will be a major upgrade to Unity 6 that might end up pushing players out of the game for a lack of proper harware/software. I tried locating the new minimum requirements for the Unity 6 version of the game and I couldn't find it.

 

I logged in to the game to see I could gift something nice to my neighbors and when I went to return the favor to Nordais (A big thank you!!!) I see that I have my 7 gifts to give (a reset from yesterday) and when I went to gift a crate of Joyful Animals to my neighbors, the game shows that I am at the daily max??????? WHAT????? I have not gifted yet.

But I can gift a wonder tree/wonder stable for BB!!!????


What kind of change is this? I do not know. but I know it isn't good!!!

UPDATE: I went to gift my neighbors the toolbox instead of the nice crate of joyful animals that is at some "daily max" and the toolbox is now a BB gift not free. The other stuff like the artisan stuff is free (no one needs those) and the seasonal Dino Playground (that just about no one wants) so not sure how to be nice to my neighbors without using BB that I do not wish to part with as I do not have a BB tree to grow the amount back! Thanks for this update that no one will like. Another step closer to saying good bye again. Hate to do it but the game company is looking for more ways to get the players to spend real $$ and it is taking the fun out of the game.

 

Come on Bigpoint, give us back our 'free' gift choices. I usually gift Tool Box or Drop item. Tool Boxes much too expensive. I hope the Drop items are still free to gift. As a premium farmer I pay and get to give 15 gifts. Now I will be hard pressed to find something someone actually wants.

 

I completely and whole heartedly agree. It is cringe . ONE BB to send a 7EP flower arrangement! I was disgusted with those when they were free Five BB's for a toolbox that doesn't have anything in it to celebrate!
Updates are suppose to be 'progressive' in a positive forward movement. This is going backwards.

 

I'm also really upset about the new gifting system. I can't even get the one that needs CCs to work for me.

To all my friends and neighbours, please do not send me regular gifts as I cannot repay in kind - I would very soon run out of BBs. I will only be sending event items in the future - if they are free to send that is.

The new gifting system is ridiculous! Why "fix" something that wasn't broken. Players do not have an endless cache of BBs to send daily gifts that should be free! If you want to add new items to the choices that are worth spending BBs on, like the wonder tree or wonder stable, that's fine and up to the player's discretion to gift. But not for gifts like toolboxes or pheromones. How are new players supposed to get ahead in the game? Really bad move BP. Another money grab! Go back to the old system!

 

I agree with everyone who's already posted. Who made this decision and who came up with the spiel to 'convince' us what a great idea it is - NOT! I don't get it one little bit. And I could not send a single gift despite not having sent any...kept getting a notification saying I'd already gifted.

 

I also would add that I am not keen on sending something that is not a definite. A Wonder Tree or Wonder Stable is just as likely to change into a XL something or Yellow something but a Toolbox or a Pheromone will be exactly what it says on the tin!

 

BP, please reconsider the new gifting system.

The options for free gifts are not attractive.
The options for CC gifts are too restrictive in that the majority of players won't be able to send them (please raise the limit)
The option for most of the gifts to be sent with BB is a hardship for many players. It is not something we can do daily.


We already have the mini event for Special Gifting your neighbor with BB.

At this time, it looks like most players who send gifts daily are really left with not much choice and may stop sending gifts.

 

I concur with everything everyone said about the horrible gift system change. It's not a good change, please consider changing it back, it was perfectly fine as it was as many of us agree on.

*(I did just notice that it was free to send toolboxes and pheromones again, so I hope that's not a glitch and we can go back to our old gifting system.)

 

I totally agree with all posted above! Shame on whoever came up with this foolish idea and a bigger shame for those who implemented it! I have sooo many neighbors as I have the ones I have had for years and then the new ones just trying to clear the lands so they can play the game! I can't afford to send gifts to anyone if I have to "pay" for them nor should we have too!
I hope someone pays attention to this feedback (not likely!) and changes it back!

 

Take this new "gifting" idea back to the drawing board.

 

UPDATE: All please try this as it worked for me:

1) You can send the 7 gifts for the day, the gifts that are labeled "Select" on the button. Also, for instance, the toolbox is back to free so they did hear our feedback.
2) It appears that you can send a second gift to the same 7 people as well as all the rest of your neighbors on gifts that are labeled "x BB" or the "5000 CC" on the button. I sent the "Crate of Joyful Animals" in the Garden tab for 5000 cc to every single neighbor!!!
NOTE: when you send the crate the button turns gray and shows "Daily Max" but that is for just that neighbor as I went to another neighbor the button was blue again and showed the 5000 CC on it and I was able to sent it and it grayed out for that neighbor.

Please try this and if this is the new gifting then I believe we all will like it much better than before as long as some gifts only cost CC as I think we all have a lot of those coins laying around.

If I am correct- thank you to the game devs as this way I can gift everybody something as long as some gifts are for CC and I will consider using some BB every once in a while.

 

I'm happy to note that today I could send the customary 'free' gifts (tool, pheromones), and appreciate having that option once again.

After I sent my allotted 7 'free' gifts, I was unable to use CC to send to anyone else. Apologies, as I don't have BBs for those options.

 

Thank you for revisiting the pricing on gifts but it still doesn't seem to be consistent. Sometimes I can send items costing CCs, sometimes not. I sent 7 free gifts but couldn't then send other gifts (costing CCs) to the same people but I could send these to others who had not received any gifts before. I actually sent 9 gifts on one farm though on the other farms I couldn't send more than the usual 7.

The Farm Wheel is also not consistent: If I input 20, sometimes the Wheel will turn 20 times, sometimes less than 20 and sometimes just once. I realise that I can check what I have received but it would be nice if it did the same each time.

On a positive note, thank you for the timing for Happy Discount Day, I am pretty sure this should cover all time zones.

 

I wasn't happy with the new gifting either but am thankful BP has reverted all the normal gifts back to being free. I do like the new gifts even though they do cost BBs, the prices seem reasonable to me and I'll probably use them when neighbours level up as a special gift.
