Players will need to mill Apple Pies or Onion Quiches to feed Porky or Bertha in this new version of the spawning characters' event.

An Event Market will let players exchange Gear Coins or Star Coins for other goodies, but they are not needed to complete the event.

The milling of either the Apple Pie or Onion Quiche will determine which ramdom prize players will get. The only difference is that the Onion Quiche costs twice as much event crops and drops but at the same time counts as two feedings: this means that the total amount of event crops and drops needed will be the same no matter what players chose to feed the critters.

To get the cloud row + givers
    100 feeds in total
    To complete the event
    113 feeds in total
    32800 Salt Flowers
    1600 Pie Pans

    Mill option 1:
    100 Apple Pies

    Or

    Mill option 2:
    50 Onion Quiches

    Or

    Mill option 3:
a mix of both Apple Pie & Onion Quiche
    37064 Salt Flowers
    1808 Pie Pans

    Mill option 1:
    113 Apple Pies

    Or

    Mill option 2:
56 Onion Quiches +1 Apple Pie

    Or

    Mill option 3:
a mix of both Apple Pie & Onion Quiche

The cloud row is quite good in the long run:

Easy as Pie Magic Stalk Row
    [IMG]
Effect: 4000 EP x Farm level, 300% extra EP/TEP when harvesting all including breedings for 4 hours, +1 extra revenue when harvesting mainland "grain" crops for 4 hours, +1 extra revenue when harvesting mainland "flower" crops for 2 hours
    Cooldown time: 32 hours
    Requires the two event items

    Good luck everyone!

Thanks Nordais, for doing the sums. ;)

I will sow the seeds, collect the drops and see how I go, maybe doing the feeding on a day when I don't have much going on - or if the weather is bad! :wuerg:
    Good luck all! :inlove:

Thank you Nordais, for always coming here to strategy and starting us all off on doing these events!
And for crunching the numbers:inlove: I will try to do the whole 113 by feeding "Porky" on the 7th,9th,11th and 13th!
Good luck everyone I hope we all reach our goals!;)

Thank you Nordais. It always seems clearer once you have set it out for us. I will give it a go but my eldest son is visiting from tomorrow over the weekend so may not have much playing time, then dentist on Tuesday. I will have to get organised and spend some money to get started and fingers crossed the windmill is kind to me. Good luck everyone and busy farming.

Thank you, Nordais, you are very much appreciated and admired for all your hard work and being a kind fellow farmer!
I like this type of event and will do it.
Overall, I play most events, though not like them all equally well. Today, e.g. I stopped playing Renzo's balloon game. Like the game, but not that I had some 720 points yesterday, played a few more games today and ended up with some 290! Won some nice prices in the past, but cannot see the fun of it today.

Wishing everyone fun and luck with tomorrow's event.:)

Thanks so much Northy. Even though I'm skipping this and most events atm as RL continues to require my attention, I do enjoy reading your charts. It's truly a labour of love on your part and much appreciated by your fellow farmers. Sending warm greetings to everyone from this side of the pond. And my surprise this morning when completing a city task in EV - I leveled up and was rewarded with an Alpine MS row! Going now to check it out.

PS please do NOT send me any drops and good luck to all those taking on this event. :)

This time around you don't need to worry about star coins or gear coins for that matter! ;)

Congrats on the new EV level, it should be the one helping with tree fruits production! Yay! :D

Where did the celery go? Did you wize up and start eating it?!? xD

I'm back! We had a very nice time in CdA! If you follow me on Facebook, I posted a picture of my in-laws on their anniversary. We try to go every year for their anniversary - 69 years this time around. I think this trip was my MIL's goal for getting well. So she made it, had a good time and now she has to set a new goal. I'm pretty sure that one is returning to CdA in September or October.

Okay, I farmed a little while I was there - not much, though. But, I did prep my fields for this event yesterday morning. I'll try to remember to send drops around.

Time to bake and serve pies! Here we go!

And, Northy, THANKS for starting the strategy thread and drilling down on the FAQ! You rock!

I saw some celery in the supermarket recently and took my own advice. It did look fresh, though....:D

Thank you Nordais, your hard work helps us determine what effort we will put into the event. Looks like minimal for me- far, far too many crops needed for me to get to the CR so I will just do what I can.
