Cloud Mysteries

I never played this type of event and as usual with event FAQs, don't understand the mechanics of the cloud event. I read the FAQs multiple times and had no clue how to play. Truly a mystery!

I decided to try and clear one area by continuously clicking with the fans until all were used. I clicked the same square/s and didn't move to any other area. After using all the fans, three of the four squares have colorful birds and one square is mostly grey.

I used the satellite dish and it showed one of the four bird squares with a red circle; I assume there's a prize if that layer/square is completely cleared.

Is my only option to purchase more iron fans at 2BBs each?

Upon starting my farming day this morning, there was no replenishment of fans. Does this mean the event's over for me unless I spend BBs. My impression is this is a pay to play event. What are other players doing?

I will stay out this event.

The instruction is so confusing. I used all the free stuffs just to figure out how to play the game ( not 100% understanding).

The event does not look fun at all. The playing price is high and the reward......

 

I used the free items that were booked, and got one bronze balloon and a slingshot that I could use to pop the balloon.

Here were the prizes won from the balloon:


I used the 9 fans and didn't uncover any additional balloons. To continue, we would have to purchase items from the event shop and so I'll save my BB's.

Got one balloon to pop. Used all free fans so giving up now. What was that all about I wonder? Hopefully others will have better luck.

 

Hi. I also started with the satellite dish and found where prizes were and used all my FREE iron fans, and got a balloon. I was lucky
enough to get a free sling shot so I could pop the balloon. It is now over for me as I will not be using my BB's to play on!
"I" think this is a "TEST RUN" to see if we are willing to Pay to play a mini game like this!

 

I used the free fans, got myself a silve and diamond baloon but not enough slingshots to pop them. Not fun at all.

@MeadowCrossing on the left side of the screen you can see at what level in the clouds each layer corresponds. Baloons are usually found in the lower parts. Some cloud layers require more "wind clearing" (2 or 3 fans or any of the other clearing items) to breach them.

 

I also could not understand what we needed to do, dithered about on all three farms - this one got two Bronze Balloons and two Slingshots and some prizes but any more needs BBs, not going to happen, agree with everyone here! Just another money grabber without the fun element.

Edit: I might have persevered if it was CCs, GBs or Stars.

 

Oh, I was lucky. I found 2 bronze balloons and 3 slingshots. I did not know what I was doing, I used all free stuff doing something. Balloons gave more iron fans (and other stuff).

 

Things here were the same described by other players: two balloons, some prizes (fans, crates, feeds and grows) using only the free

tools.

 

My oldest farm tried it. Didn't find anything except two red exclamation points I couldn't reveal without spending BBs. Not going to happen so I'm not wasting my time on my other farms.

 

Well, this event fell from a high place.

Absolutely incomprehensible game mechanics, playing costs BB currency and to top it all off there are not even any prizes.

Some kind of "brain fart" for sure - HOPEFULLY this won't happen again!

Unfortunately, a direct opinion.

Been playing for 13 years and THIS is NOW THE "Worst event of all time" which one player is joking about "I'll miss it"...

 

I completely agree that this is a test run. I watched a video posted to Hungarian forum (browser translate function does wonders!) before playing and got some freebie goodies with whatever items were booked for free. I am happy with that.

Also, the following announcement was posted in Hungarian forum (as translated by my browser): "Dear Gamers!
According to the center, Cloudy Mysteries is not a traditional mini game.
It's a mini-game and a purchase/sale combination.
This was not originally emphasized and is a cause for misunderstanding.
We wish you successful farming,
the Farmerama team."

Yes I noticed that also as I wanted to post there! A little more MYSTERY than just in the clouds!

 

Posting here is fine. We never have a feedback thread for mini-event

 

I spent some BBs with the thought that we will get some Piccolo boxes, but forget. 300 BB spent and nothing other than basic rewards. They really need to become better at rewarding farmers, it's almost disturbing how little they reward for spending BBs...

No mystery, just.. robbery hahahaha!
