"Cows and Tractors" Event Quest

This event is marked as being "medium", but there is so much stuff players need to have that buying everything in the market will be impossible.

Players must be at least at level 72 to start the event, but many items required for the donations are from level 100+ and over.

Also, a lot of Bahamara stalls, trees and manufactories are needed, thus their statues in the Monkey Temple must be opened.

To get the cloud row and its giver from the Event Shop, player must complete each and every Gold steps of the 10 levels present in the event.

The Diamond steps award Gear Coins to purchase some extra goodies in the Event Shop, but nothing that is worth screaming about.

Filling all 10 Gold steps will give 16 Tractor Tires needed to purchase the cloud row and its giver, as well as giving 20 Gear Coins.

Completing the event will give a total of 60 Gear Coins to be spent in the Event Shop.

The Cloud row is only interesting because of its +1 on cat and forest cat kennels:

Rewards: 8000 EP x Farm level, 300% extra EP/TEP when harvesting stables for 6 hours, +1 extra revenue when harvesting Cat Kennels and Forest Cat Kennels for 6 hours
Cooldown time: 42 hours
Requires the event item and any two 1x2 deco items

Well, I made my first mistake, I was sure the FAQs said this started Thursday (I did wonder why the FAQs were so early!) so I am not at all prepared but I don't think the drop amount is too eye watering. Famous last words!

Lots of stuff needed but that's why I keep filling my barn and trying to have a good supply of everything. It's not for the harvest event, that's for sure.

Hi, Northy, I saw the announcement before going to bed last night and checked my stocks. I was trying to do the sums in my head, but too sleepy and delighted to see you came through with the numbers! We're drying out from the typhoon which passed through last night and most of today - the sun is finally coming out again and the sparrows are cheeping at the feeder!

I shall try this and see how I do. I agree this will be tough for many as much foundation material is needed to get the required items. The artisan items will be the most challenging for me as I am a lazy lady and not fond of baking...maybe some enterprising farmers will sell products in my market...

What is worse is that we had the shop sale at 50% just a few days back and now the event is asking for carrot cakes which sells at 100BBs at full price!

I always clear inventory to make buffer selections in the morning easiest.... now will have to turn to a not-so-good-never-use buffer horder!

 

That's exactly what i do. So, yesterday had to craft all the Bread Rolls and all the Red Punchs

On the bright side, no planting and no milling today. Just waiting for the remaning drops with tiki timer and lab lab beans.

For such an amount of barn goodies, devs could have given us 2 giver items

 

SL's farm got as far as the bread rolls and came to a screeching halt. Missed that in the FAQ (might need to clean my glasses).

So I've decided that this farm is sitting this event out. SL's farm is now at the point where it's waiting for crops to mature on Baha fields to get the remaining drops needed to finish the 10th bunch of donations.

And Nala...I see you've stolen David's "poem"...does this mean that you're really doing it, you're just not happy about it, like David?
