Feedback Farmerama - Game and Features

I don't see this "feature" of the harvester to be a feature at all. To me it is going backward in game development.

 

Please reinstate the old harvester. Having to open the harvester screen every time we change fields is not an improvement. Players buy the harvester subscription to reduce the amount of clicking not add more clicks.

 

Please change the harvester back to how it was, it's not an improvement.

Anyone was astound with how much MM stuff was needed to get and upgrade the new museum? It let me put down 6 more Hamster Fly traps but was it worth it...

Northy, I'm creeping through the steps to get the new museum and also staggered by the number of tools needed. What's your strategy for choosing which tools to contribute? I rarely build anything, but like the museum to free up MM space. Completed the first Silver task and now working on Gold for the base museum.

I always have inventory set to amount when I do donations. Of course, nails are my top tool I have, I keep lumber, roof tiles and bricks but the rest I use. Of course, my main farm had 25K of about each tools and I started by donating 500 at a time for the silver step, a 1000 at a time for the gold step and 2000 for the diamond one. I just make sure that I keep a minimum set amount of tools of my choice that I keep to craft workshops in case I need to. I'm blessed to have tonnes of tool crates which keep my inventory full but I do no see how or when my baby farm will be able to get that amout! And I'm not talking about the MM tree fruits and critters in the other levels... BP follows a trend: one year it is tools, the year after +1 crop, etc. Same with their pets. I'm so glad I was playing at that time...

 

Why the change with the harvester? Just an unnecessary annoyance

 

1) I totally agree. I thought it was a malfunction, due to too many farmers online.
2) I have been searching how to shut it down. I never use it, do not want to rebuild my farm everyday, and I'm less online due to missing the forum in my own language, so I miss announcements, sometimes events and I am never able to finish an event anymore.

 

Agree with everybody here, make the Harvester stay until we decide to close it

On a separate issue, regarding the Masterclass. If the request cannot be filled using buffs to shorten the time an item takes or improves the amount you harvest, this should be stated. The field to be used is stated, why not the use or not of buffs?

Personally, I have not come across this and use buffs whenever I do any Masterclass quests. I guess I have been lucky but nevertheless, I would not be happy to believe that I am going to achieve the result only to find it doesn't qualify.

 

There once was a harvester that did a nice job
But that wasn't good enough for a superior 'Knob'
So it got messed with to annoy all of us

But some new developers must be quite dense.
Why would you make us 'click-half-to-death?'

For the MC, I've been able to use buffs that fit in a Diamond/Gold/Silver slot as well as + givers. However, using Power Feed or one of the EV directly on the plant/tree boosters does not work. Agree, it is frustrating and leaving it up to players to have to 'figure it out'/'learn from experience' (and keep track), isn't really fair play.

 

Please reconsider having to reopen the farm machinery every time a player switches fields. For those of us with arthritis in the hands, or any other limiting condition, each mouse click is painful! As other players have said,
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it"!

 

I absolutely hate the new harvester closing after each place... What was wrong with letting it open until I manually close it? I just find it really inconvenient.

 

The pesky project stuff follows from page to page...

Do you like, BP, this torrent of abuse?

Isn't it clear that you've made a mess?
Or are you too arrogant to own it - confess!
A real company would admit when they're WRONG!

Yes! What a delightful surprise to begin my farming day and see the Harvester stayed in place. At first, I thought my eyes were deceiving me...

Well done and much appreciated!

 

Yes at least something was fixes. Now please make sure that we don't need to hit F5 every time we try to clear a request in the event, at some point a graphic error will reproduce the patern of the last customer we served on the three others and we cannot click on anything that is functioning in the event!
