Yard Sale Hijinks

My main farm shortest time tree is XXL slope point at a list time of 3.30 (shortened by 10% with a Magical glade tree rune) and down to 2 hours with Suzy's turbo mulch. If you sort trees by 'Duration' it will show the shortest timed trees first.

 

I have to be honest. I'm just not enjoying this event. All I see to be doing is planting and harvesting cress over and over and over again

 

There is nothing that is forcing you to plant only cress, longer maturing crops will yield better drops.

Players must make sure that they are donation to all three level 1-2-3 Stars to unlock all prizes. Just select one of the four charaters and click on the dmall gift icon in the top right corner. Details has to how many points have been cumulated per star level will show as well as the community total points.

 

I thought I would try this, but it's just too much going on...imo, it's more difficult than the MC. I'll likely pass on spending more time than I already have. RL is calling. I'm much the same, hitting buttons that are green, hitting the coupon things when I have enough and refreshing when I don't like the task. But I am progressing ... I think.

I locked my task and have no clue what to do now, have been hitting the buttons randomly without any understanding. Well, it is what it is. I am sure I can get over a totally confusing event that I probably won't complete due to lack of understanding

 

is there anyone to explain complately how we play this event. ı m playing but ı dont know its right or not.
For example, it says harvest 94 plants, I harvest them, a green button appears, I click it, then it asks me to harvest another 94 crops, I harvest them again, but this time the green button doesn't appear. Why?
It says to use 34 super fertilizer, I'm using it in the main field, but the green button doesn't appear. Is the game faulty or are we not understanding something?

 

Well happy Friday, everyone! We all made it to this point. yay. i think.

I could not log into Farmerama last night - nope, just wouldn't open, not via client or web browser, so I called it a night. Which meant I left tomatoes in my fields on this farm. Oh well. I've decided that I'm participating in this event, but I don't care any more, so whatever.
I understand the way the thing works now (it's pretty much the master class thing on steroids), but I'm past caring. And I'll be absent all day tomorrow while I go sell cozy cocoons to people who come to the farmer's market (the real life one) wearing shorts in 40 degree weather.

 

Okay, I will try to explain this, although I have messed up a few times. If you are asked to harvest 94, plants, harvest them and the green arrow appears. The timer will commence and, if you have the appropriate stickers/pics/coupons, you can click the picture with the double arrows (not be greyed out when available) and move on to the next task.

Before harvesting, check you have an arrow and not the double arrow over the "client's" picture. Can't tell you how many times I have done this - on tree fruit of all things.
Hope this makes things a little clearer - coming from someone who is just winging it most of the time.

Although it seems wasteful, I am doing a lot of these tasks with Cress cos it is quick. Overnight I am going to plant lots of trees and harvest them manually for each task. IMO, this event is using less SG and SSG than a normal grow and throw so it works out okay for me.

What I do think is that, when you have two tasks asking for the same thing, you will be able to complete the two tasks at once. I have been going for the higher amount and I still have a green arrow for the lower amount - does that make sense?

Edit:

What I haven't worked out is how to unlock a task when I have accidentally locked it in the wrong mode. I had used 20 Water, and had the green double arrow and locked it in. Can't do anything with it. I am hoping that tomorrow it will sort itself out.

I also find the wording a bit confusing once you completed a task and it still tells you what that task was instead of offering you some sort of "nah you're done with this" message till you get or skip to the next task. It's all fine if you're awake and started to get the hang of this event, but it'd be a lot more helpful if it could just tell you that you're done and need to wait for the next task instead of simply removing the little x/y counter next to the task and resume the countdown.

Illy, do you still have the countdown next to your task? KittyLover said that there's a problem with the locks in one of the help threads (https://board-en.farmerama.com/threads/very-dedicated-lock.49941/) and that the team is working on it, but hopefully you can't accidentally lock in finished tasks? That sounds counterintuitive.

 

I also have no clue how to play this event, just keep clicking ... Probably something goes right and something wrong...

 

Sometimes you have to change field before you re-enter the event for the game to realise you've completed a task.
If you're one short or something, the game keeps count in the top right of the 'request' box, just above the timer. So I've currently got 3 tasks asking for different numbers of tree fruit, the top corners show 4/14, 4/37 and 4/140

 

It took me a while to figure things out, but by clicking on that little present on the right, it will appear our progress, how many

points and prizes we won and below there's a target with the progress we've made with the stars. I completed all the tasks of the

alligator and of the purple animal. On the blue and the bunny, i'm done with the 3 stars tasks, but missing a lot of one and two stars.

Another thing i figured out a minute ago was that the purple asks for a quantity of fruits but in other tasks the task is harvest 51 trees

and not 51 fruits.

 

I don't understand any of it. I need to give 100 amarant, I have it but cannot give it. I could deliver the second and third someting but it stays the same.
There is a thing where you can trade, how does it work? And at the last place, I can do nothing.
Can someone explain this like to a 4 year old?
I miss the explanation in my own language.

 

thanks a lot illy 1996 its very useful explanation ı have understood better. Last thing that ı want to know is that although ı have enough cupon why is double arrow greyed. Does that mean I don't have enough products?
