I have activated one of the cloud rows (it showed as #5 on my 'all cloud rows') even though the community effort shows 0/10 about six or seven are ticked including one cloud row.....​

 

I think that this event is as much fun as going to the dentist. They should have explained better - they should stop using the games we used to enjoy which you are now messing up - one coin at a time is ridiculous - all & all - it's a terrible event or events - have to keep going from one to another. I get that it's all about making money for them but it used to be fun - not so much any more. Floridasolve

 

I didn't do it at first because I didn't understand the event, but I've been trying for two days, yesterday and today, and I still haven't quite figured it out. I'm just trying to get the farm cup tokens and I'll do my best. Congratulations to the farmers who finished, they really did a great job, and everyone on the forum did a great job explaining the event, thank you everyone, and a big thank you to Nordais for their efforts as well.

 

How can you tell what streak level you're on? is there some combo streak level or what One of my tasks is to reach streak level 26 but all my individual streaks look like they're streak level 5 and it doesn't seem to me like it goes past five, no matter what?

I finished all characters on saturday morning. Sunday I kept doing them until I noticed people not trading tickets as quickly. I was hoping to keep going through the event because the prizes aren't too bad and it would be nice to get the 2nd cloudrow but I am not sure enough are continuing to get there..

 

I'm done. Toast. Can't go any farther. We head out in the morning and I won't have time for the next two days to farm at all. Good luck to all who continue towards the second cloud row, etc.

I decided to try this after multiple readings of players' posts; thanks to excellent tips, managed to complete all tasks except the tree one. I have now placed all my shortest harvest trees and used the one speed up tree booster that I could find (it only works on tropical trees), and now am 1* 6/15; 2* 7/10; 3* 8/8. I think I still need to complete 9 1* and 3 2* levels; have been using coupons as soon as I complete a task. I lost the 1* streak I had and it now seems to take more than one order to fulfill a task. Am I doing something wrong? Is there anything else I can do? It's evening here and I've about four more hours before heading to bed. Should I lock any level overnight if I am close to filling a task?

I will say, it's been a rather complex and time intense event...lesson to self, don't do this type of event again. Having to count crops/water/etc. really was the only way I could complete the levels and I personally don't want to do that again. Otherwise, the game is fun, but just a bit (a lot!) more time consuming that I should devote to an event.

Wish everyone else still hunting for bargains (i.e. trying to figure out how it works) success!

 

You seem to have done a lot of strategic playing in this event, whereas I have just gone at it much like DavidBlyth's picture earlier on.

I would lock that task in if you are close - apart from a couple of errors (locked it when task was already complete which wouldn't rest till the next day), I haven't really found much use for the lock. I say go for it but as long as you have the greyed out single arrow NOT the double arrows.

 

Until now I don't think I've ever been disappointed when an event has been extended. I've finished three of the tabs, still working on trees but have finished the three star section so have the giver item and don't really care if I finish the other two parts or not. I'm just trying to keep going to contribute to the community goals as best I can but it's hard going. Everyone has done so well and we've got the first cloud row but I'm not sure we'll make it to the second one. I'll try to keep plugging aways and hope for the best

I just managed to complete the event...with a bit of drama tossed in while harvesting trees - everything began shaking! An earthquake hit with epicenter a bit to the north of us...first one I've felt since we moved here last year and things were really moving and shaking for about 10-15 seconds. We're fine and no damage anywhere that we're aware of. Maybe that shook up some of the trees as I managed to complete the last three 1* tasks after trading some coupons and using several energy cups.

Tommy, I hope you can finish...it might seem impossible, but if you have lots of quick harvesting trees and a stash of mulch, you might still make it...40hrs to go. Wish everyone a good rest of your day and success with your goals!

 

Don't hesitate tu use the power drinks to change requests. There is a Happy Discount Day running again: it will count towards using power feed for Clover, you will get bags and power drinks too.

I'm confident we'll get to the second cloud row, not so sure about the 3 other givers with charges...

 

I enjoyed this once I finally understood the mechanics. I was able to do quite a bit until Saturday when the trading coupons started to dry up. I was pretty much relegated to just the pink and purple lines, mainly the pink as that was what I had the most of. I got no trades at all from Sunday afternoon on.

At that point the group progression also seemed to slow as I think so many had just stopped.

I am keeping working with the pink coupons but it is so slow any more.

 

Keep making offers, my trading coupons section is always empty, if I put an offer it is usually filled within 5 minutes. I don't know if it is linked with the different servers/markets tho...

 

I wonder if it is more the time of day I play and my time zone. Most of Europe is sleeping when I play. I am pacific US time zone so afternoon here is after midnight CET. I have gotten a few trades today. About 30 green and 15 blue.

 

I feel like this event is driving me crazy, but I still can't stop.

Am I addicted?
