Hey everyone! I’ve been trying out the new Cloud Row Planner and it’s actually pretty fun. You can organize your rows into two extra categories. I think it could get even better if we all pitch in — so share your opinions, tips, and suggestions! The more feedback we give, the more useful and productive this planner can become for all of us. Let’s make it something that really works for us!

 

My initial plan is to make a category for those rows that increase the EP/TEP from givers to harvest before harvesting givers (and pets and decos and decorations if those are different).

 

I was considering separating out those cloud rows that have a refresh time of 12 hours or under. This would allow me to harvest that set twice a day. BUT.... I am not sure I would remember to do that since I have my brain programed to harvesting once a day.

I will see what I feel like in a few days. I am about to get on a long drive for 2 days and won't have the time to sort through all the rows to make any extra category selections.

 

I have to thank you, Nala777, for your enthusiasm! It took me a while to understand it, and if i did, i would have to classify over 700 CR's and that would be too much for this "old gal".

It is a very tedious process. Wait for tooltip to see what the row does. Move mouse. Click. Move mouse. Click. Move mouse. Click. Move mouse to next row. (and every third row--move mouse. click to scroll.) Repeat hundreds of times.

 

I don't really know how to begin sorting the CR's. I agree that with so many rows...that it will require tons of time and I'm anxious about making mistakes and how to undo categories. I have so many questions.
I would like more feedback or suggestions how others are using this new feature of the game.

 

wish that the search would not only go by name of the CR but also in the tooltip discription...

 

My concept of a strategy for now:

Anything that gives +1 in plants/trees/animals/workshops and speed buffs for plants/trees/animals/workshops would be marked with a green flag into Favorite rows for manual control within their baseline categories (plants, animals, buffs - I will move them up/down to have them grouped within each of the category) unless they fall under 24 hours production. If they are under 24 hours, they would be classified into the first new "everyday" category, see just below.

Next:

Use my first new category to group every Plant, Animal or "Other Buff" rows under 24-23 hours + all Item rows + all Progression rows as my "every morning pick" - reason for adding all item rows and all Progression rows to this category even if they are longer than 24 hours - they do not add any buffs to EP or anything else; thus, it really does not matter to me on which day they are picked.

Use my second category to group every Plant, Animal or "Other Buff" rows that do not fall into + 1/speed favorites and are between 48-24 hours production for my every other morning pick (if I want to hold off on picking those one day before the event and keep them until the next day) - This part is debatable because if someone wants specific plant/animal/workshop EP buffs on specific days, this strategy will not support it.

This would leave me with a small percent of Plant, Animal or "Other Buff" rows that are over 48 hours. For now, those would be "manual control" with regards to the event start.

So basically, I will collect first category every day, second category every other day, and then there will be a small(er) amount of manual control items that I can collect when they are needed.

I will see how this works over some time and then can rethink my strategy.

 

This is a new feature right? After i returned 3 years later, one of the first thing I saw that game lacked was classifying CR's and wished devs should bring a feature like this for CR's; this is a nice thing to see this now.

The way i used CR's was like this: I prioritize TEP right now so, I bookmarked all rows without %ep/tep. I harvested bookmarked rows (rows without %ep/tep) whenever I can. Every 24 hours, I harvest all CR (means including %ep/tep rows too) and with that %ep/tep buffs I harvest my givers.
Using this way meant, I could not classify drop rate CR's, animal CR's (+animal or housing speed), tree rows etc.

I wish this was free for all players. I will try ways of using this and write my opinions here. Hoping to hear how my fellow farmers using it too

 

Before this New CR Feature was implemented,I flagged all useful cloud rows into my favourites I have approximately 200 CR under favourites, The rest of them not really worth clicking to be activated as I am trying to minimise the amount of clicking involved playing farmarama

CR 1 to 46 gives EP/TEP all of these boost Givers EP/TEP, I activate these manually daily, I have made an list CR Numbers which CR rewards it gives out , others like + Stables and workshop boosters, Breeding boosters and MM Boosters I only activated these during breeding event or during MM etc

The only pain it it often slow scrolling down all these CR is sluggish so I have to get use to see how beneficial new features can be

What I like about new feature it shows you time of each cr activated when it due to be reactivated

Really is all down to your style of farming during events or events completed

 

too many variables and not enough brain power/patience to categorize 298 pages of cloud rows so one click first thing in the morning works just fine for me

 

I do not have time in real life right now to sort through my cloud rows. I know others have more rows than I do, but my 949 rows are more than I want to sort into categories. My best wishes to those organizing their farms. I may change my mind in the future, but for now, I am content with how they are now. My Dad is my focus right now.

 

I'm with you, PnP - I'm leaving things exactly how they already are. A long time ago, I figured out a sorting method that gets me the rows I want activated when I want them activated, so I'm fine just leaving things as they are. Certainly not spending money on another subscription for something I really don't need.

And, don't forget to take care of yourself in all of this. We get so busy and focused on caring for our family in times of crisis, that we forget to do things for ourselves. Like get a haircut. I finally got one scheduled for next week. And a pedicure. That's this afternoon for me. You need one, too. Get that scheduled!

 

I only have two rows that I don't have in my favourites, the harvest one that enhances SG and the Wonder Stables one. I only harvest once a day and when I need the others I know exactly where they are, so no subscription for me either. I am not as organised as some where the CRs are concerned so I am happy with my own system (or lack of!)!
I agree with PM, Pups, make sure you take some time for yourself and take care of yourself.

 

I have too many cloud rows to mess with. When I started playing this game in 2010, maybe, but certainly not now. I am too busy enjoying my retirement to worry about arranging 950+ cloud rows.
