Fun in the Sun

I had to make it with a really lame prize tile like TEP or CCs, but it's doable.

The coloured tiles layed on the map are the culprits when it comes to not being able to place down tiles: the game sees them as playable when in fact we cannot attach one of our 3 tiles to them...

 

Thanks, Nordais. I managed 13 tiles more by luck than any skill but I have about 80 more plays so will hopefully will come across a way through.
I agree about those pre-set tiles - and I also keep forgetting that, once that quest is done, no need to bring them into play!

 

I have just completed the 600 tiles and I have Surfer Dude out in the Park! I was able to complete 26 of the 28 "Missions"
without even trying to complete them! Good luck to all still playing

Finished all 600 and a few extra but still that 16 tile task evaded me, not going to do any more, not worth it but just a tad irritated that I couldn't do it!
Enjoyed the rest of the event anyway.

 

It took me a while to get the gist of this, especially the role of the pre-set tiles. I do like that once the pre-set tiles are connected, they become an active tile we can connect to to keep the pattern going. Took me to just now to figure out where to find the tasks everyone's been talking about. Geez

Just finished! Have done by shear happenstance, 21/28 missions.

I'm also stuck on the 16 tiles pattern.
I have already done several games with 16 tiles of the same colour (all connected) but it never showes as solved... I don't get it!!!

don't know how it happened, cause I didn't get a pop up with the price but this morning I have 28/28...

 

Same here thinking that I do that (17 and 18 pieces) task TWICE and popup came after SECOND time, maybe 1/1 is NOT enough...

Done 100% no need to drop-gift !!!

 

I do my FIRST set of 16 towels (orange ones), press submit, no popup, quit game and re-logged in, no popup again.

Maybe it "comes later than we are thinking"... 423 is my towel-count out of 600...

 

There were no popups when we completed missions, they would show in the list of prizes when we submitted the board. The only way to know if it was done was to check for the green tick mark on it. The task would also move downward in the list so that we could see what tasks were left to do.

 

Still 100% sure, that I made that 16-combo - no green mark and no prize !!!

same thing than other familymember (anki74 - post number "27 she talks about that!) before me
second time 16-combo give me the prize, not first !
Now made 20-combo with Red GearCoinsPieces !

and pop-up came after logout-login -procedure...Unfair to people that are made ONE time that combo and in text it says "(0/1)" but first time - no prize!

 

The same thing happened to me but the first 16 combo included a pre-placed tile so I don't think that one counted. But I eventually got the combo correct.
