@MeadowCrossing, I found breeding was the answer to get the Stop Watches and also through neighbor gifts that was a nice move on BP's part. If you have the base Sloths and the Power Feed that is the way to go! And Sun the 23rd @10:00 to 18:00
is a Happy Discount Day along with a Baby Boom also starting @10:00 and ending @ 22:00 I hope that helps

@MeadowCrossing I been selling sloths in market 15 , ATM sloths prices in the markets have calm down since we only had 5 hours of HDD , I too got excess drops and breeding badges, always keep looking out for HDD to conserve your power Feeds , I have been hoarding Power Feeds for long time , plus been breeding sensibly at times since we hardly get good skips these days , I was very lucky with skips this time Enjoy Cat giver sanddollor

I didn't realize Howies were effective on stables...would that mean we might get more than one per stable? I will do more breeding during the HDD (thanks for that tip as I haven't been following the Forum announcements and missed it!). My mill is running 24/7 so my PF and sloth feed should be ok. I only need about 70 more badges, but need 251 watches, and had not realized BP added drops and badges to the daily gift list. My clock resets in 8.5 hrs so if anyone needs a specific gift, please let folks know. (PS - I don't need quills as I'm not doing that event )

Update after breakfast: just made first harvest of sloths. Maybe our 2am quake muddled my brain, but I thought we received one watch per sloth harvest. I am definitely far short of that even with Howies. Five/5 drops on a field of about 20 sloths? Really?
Are drops given only for the base sloth? Most of mine are yellow with a spattering of orange.

Update after lunch: I just realized that this six-day event gives three different givers and doing all six days gives two of each of the three. I have two of three and will be quite satisfied with one of each so I actually only need to complete day 5 to get the final one. Phew, such a relief! I have enough items now to complete day 5 which requires fewer badges and watches. Happy dance!

 

Cloud Row: If I have all the items for the sloth cloud row, do I just enter them or did someone say you have to buy the cloud row? Perplexed!

 

Unfortunately, I believe all we get for doing these quests is the cute givers. To get the stalk, sadly BP wants us to BUY the
Deep Blue Offers they have posted in Official Announcements! Not happening as I think it is an awful thing to do!

Mooboy Tip:

Tip A) You can try Instant Crops using Refinement Strategy On Green Meadow Field using Supergrow, water and Manure , super grow buff Refinement

Tip B) Using Instant Sloth Stables with 5 x Flower Spray Arts but need decent amount of sloth Feeds

TIP A, will give you more Stopwatches per Harvest using Suoergrow

Max out your Animal and Crop Trophies and using Howie Donuts helps boost Drops

 

This will give them the queen's quill drop for the card event, stopwatch drops only from sloth enclosure on the plantation and rain forest baha fields.

Using the Peanut Butter Cup could help a bit. There is not much else players can do to boost drops without the help of cloud rows. If players are using base stall + yellow upgrade, they should try to take the upgrade off and have just the base stall for the overnight production to be harvested in the morning. Also, using the 100% stall in the gold slot could help: getting more animals per stalls seem to help getting more drops.

 

Thanks very much for the tips, but in the end, I decided to just get the third giver on day 5. I still find certain aspects of the game, such as refinements, to be beyond my ken ;D Nowadays, with RL needing more focus and time, I find myself more often skipping events, or doing the most basic parts. I do enjoy learning new things, and sincerely appreciate suggestions.

Do you have them on Crystals Falls? It won't give any stopwatches.

 

The Sloths are on the correct field. Sometimes 0 or 1 or 3 stopwatches. I 'll skip no.5 and see if I can reach 89 stopwatches. But I do think it's not possible.

 

It started pretty smoothly for me with plenty of PFs and quite a few sloths in the barn. Up to level 4 that is. RL muddled in between and I confess I didn't study the event info as diligently as I should/could have. Now I'm struggling to keep up with feed for the sloths (no longer available in my market). But what I find worst is that drops are dismally low both for breeding and for the stalls, often no more than 1-2 stopwatches per 10 breedings. If I hadn't put in so much time and effort already, I would have stopped here and now. I've got 525+ badges, but have to scrape to get enough stopwatches. On top of that, the one time I DID NOT want the breeding to skip, because I needed the 'simple' next step, of course it did skip. Hopefully that will help some time in the future though. I'll try to finish level 6 as far as getting that giver; don't have enough for all of it. Couldn't finish lvl 5.
