PrairieMaiden - No you are not alone. ;) I was just struggling with the same issues. I put out most of my menageries to add needed animals for new Farmer Society quest. Then the plantation needed for event. Geez....where to put out new wonder stables.
I've always wanted to put wonder stables into a menagerie. 2 of them could hold 16 of them! :music:
    Just a thought...

Announced that some FSQs will be removed as of October 6th. Question the fact that some of them are MM quests. That will greatly limit the time we have to complete these quests. Especially if there are big MM events running during the limited time MM is open. Will we have enough time?

Absolutely devastated that you're removing these quests. The ones I have not yet completed are the breeding ones.

Bit of context here. I've been playing since 2010. I am a quest player - I work towards the quests as my main goal of the game. I'm also a free player so I don't pay for extra bonuses that give me additional PF etc. What I breed with is what I can mill and collect from crates and prizes. Half the time I miss Baby Boom because you run it during my nighttime hours and don't have the decency to extend it beyond the 8 hour period despite years of requests, but I participate whenever it's on during waking hours. I have had some time off here and there but mostly played consistently over that period.

Many of these quests I was approaching the end of - on level 9 of 10. So imagine how disappointed I am that, after 16 years, I have had to pay my way through to the end of these quests. The absolute antithesis of what I aim for when I'm playing. I've dropped 300 MILLION COINS so far and that's only got me through a fraction of them - many I need to wait for others to put up animals on the market.

This has absolutely devastated me and I am on the brink of quitting for good. If the one thing I play for is being ripped away - what's the point?

I can't swear on this forum but please, think of whatever swear words you know in your language and multiply them. That's what I'm sending your way.

Let me just explain how much this has taken the joy out of the game for me:

What's the point in doing anything in-game to get powerfeed if I'm just going to end up buying the animals to complete the quests?
What's been the point of all the effort over the last 16 years to do it myself?
What's the point of continuing to breed now that the quests are done (not by my own effort)?
What's the point of doing anything else in the game if there's no need for PF any more?
Why should I put effort into the remaining quests if I don't know when you're going to suddenly recycle them and force me into paying my way to the end?

I'll just be done I think. No point giving time to this game when this is how it goes.

I agree, this represents a great deal of wasted time and effort, not to say £££. I have 9 breeding quests at advanced levels that will disappear. I'm simply not paying the £££ it will inevitably cost to complete them in the allotted time, the game seems to need more 'real' money week by week to get anywhere, ie. the sea sloth cloud row. How about a 'Baby Boom' to assist in completing the affected quests?

I have one farm I spend on, one I play without money, maybe I should just continue with the latter.

I know everyone has a different playing style, but for me, the quests were always the top step, the last thing to achieve, it always felt like winning the golden trophy. I felt so good when I finished the last step. I always worked on the quests if I didn't like the current event, or if I finished the event early. Really gave me something to work for. I now have SO MANY quests with the red exclamation point. I went in and finished a few, but I know I won't be able to finish even a handful. It makes me very sad and feels like I wasted all the materials to get part way finished.

With a giant change like that, it leads me to believe the way the game itself plays will be changing. I am sure we all notice that there is more and more things to pay for. The last event had a last step that you couldn't win without paying money. I do buy the harvester pack every month for YEARS. And that's a lot of money added up.

Removing these quests is so disappointing. I have also been working for years towards the breeding quests.

What is the reasoning behind removing some breeding quests and not others?

I looked at the Calander to see if the ending of sooo many of the quests that I still have open was an April Fool's joke on the players. Alas, April has come and gone so this just plain mean with the direction this game is heading.

It appears the direction of the game is more of a money grab than fun. Also, it seems that the devs rarely actually take feedback from the players to make the game more fun for the players. Some examples: 1) Numerous players have stated over the years that the Farm Wheel needed to have many of the prizes updated/removed but they are still present. 2) The Moonlight fields are far too short on time for the regular crops, lately the events have extended the MM fields but nothing but event crops can be planted in order to HOPE to complete the event. 3) Over the years, players have made comments that the required amount of crops are higher and higher and all the work involved just to achieve prizes that at times are lackluster.

I have always been a free to play/casual player, I enjoy this game, and I do believe the graphics, layout, game mechanics, overall game is the best farming game out there. This latest announcement of eliminating unfinished quests may be the straw to break the backs of some players and make them look for other ways to enjoy gaming.

Unfortunately, I agree with what was said.:(

From now on, i'll breed only the necessary for event breedings and if the prizes are worthy. Think i'll save a lot of PF.

If skips weren't so stingy, most of us would have completed the breeding quests by now. The deluxe pheromones do little to help. To complete these quests, the game should slow down/pause the relentless events so we can catch up. We've been asking this for years. If you want us to spend real money on the game, you need to give us fair value in the things we purchase. Seldom do I see this happening.

    Here is my take:
Never on my memory the rules of the quest were changed DURING the quest duration (the requirements were tweaked here and there, but not the rules). If they want to introduce new timed FSQ - great; however, changing the rules of the existing ones is a FAUX PAS. On my books this is completely unethical.

Very, very disappointed that you are removing the quests. Some of these were very helpful during my early days in the game, that allowed me to earn stars, resources, older wonder stables and trees, etc. Some of those quests are very valuable to newer players. Plus, many of the breeding ones I have been working on for a long time. Pease reconsider.

I am seriously very concerned for future of Farmerama , What Bigpoint is thinking >:(
    >:(>:(

Why removing Some of these Quests Permanently >:(>:(>:(

    • 16 Years of Farmerama , Never remove permanent Quests
    • Majjority of these quests are Breeding Quests as they are already in countdown for permanent removal
    • I have other Breeding Quests that is already Flagged for Future Removal
    • Why removing breeding quests particularly not much non Breeding Quests
    • It is very hard to complete any breeding quests, due to very very mean Breeding Skips for Newbies and for high level long time players
    • Which is taking long time to complete, which is why they must not be removed
    • It is our pride and Joy playing farnerama doing these quests at our leisure
    • It goes against the Principle Fun and Joy playing Farmerama for All Players Globally
    • It is impossible to buy high level breeding animals in the markets, to help complete these quests due to very very very poor Breeding Skips , that why need more time to complete these Quests
    • I have list of completed non Breeding quests loads of them , why they are not being removed, Why Breeding Quests being Removed that is so very very unfair for all of us
    • This has caused us huge doubts, Worries, Concerns etc what will Future Breeding Events , are you intending to change the way we enjoy future Breeding Events
    • Please Please Please Reconsider for us to continue to Enjoy Play Farmerama
    • Take into Consideration to inspire us to Enjoy play Farmerama better we would be happy spend more money on this game . NOT THE OPPERSITE:wuerg:

Just support for all that has been said already on here. What reason is there to delete any quests?

Just add - what will happen to all the breeding animals in stock related to the deleted quests ? Will these valuable items be worthless? Or will we just get minimal reward when they are deleted ?
