"Fishy Riddle" Timed Event Quest

So it seems we'll have a third event going on this weekend. Not too complicated, just harvest specific veggies on the main farm and donate some drops too.

Event Drop:

Hourglass

You will get this drop when harvesting the Main field, from crops, stables and workshops.

You have a medium chance of receiving 1 x Hourglass with each breeding process completed.

Level 1: Harvest 1200 Tomatoes in 4h20
Level 2: Donate 45 Hourglasses
Level 3: Harvest 80 Geese in 7h30
Level 4: Donate 73 Hourglasses
Level 5: Harvest 1300 Fennels in 2h50
Level 6: Donate 210 Hourglasses
Level 7: Harvest 90 Rabbits in 10h00
Level 8: Donate 195 Hourglasses

Does anyone know if needed critters and crops can be collected from any of the three main fields? It says drops are only dropped when harvesting from the main field, but I don't see anything that says everything must be done on the Main field. If I plant crops and place critters needed for the event on Green Meadow and Magical Glade, will they count towards the total needed? I'd like to use the Main field for long grow crops to collect more hourglasses.

 

Every timed FSQ will let you harvest from all three main fields usually. You should be good to go!

 

I gotta try to get through this today. Ugh.

 

Can we get needed plants/animals etc. from all 3 farm areas? Normally we can, in this type of event...

 

I have to clean stables before they register as harvested.

So far, I have been able to work on all three fields; only drops come from Main field which is holding up progress.

Be sure to clean the stables after collecting - my critter harvest didn't count until I cleaned the mess

@Brookeham Been there, done that. Which is why I'm only doing this fishy event and skipping the others - my old brain can only focus on so much and RL is keeps butting in


Does anyone know if the promised drop hourglasses will be added to our free daily gift options? I don't need drops for firefly event, but hourglasses would be appreciated if/when they are an option.

 

Be sure to press the start button before harvesting. I've missed doing this 2x today!!! It's been a busy day in RL...so I come in harvest quickly and run out to do another task. How can it be after playing this game for almost 16 years, I'm getting worse at it?

Me, three! I have too much going on and now BP has decided to have too much going on all at the same time, too! I remembered to turn it on before I harvested the geese this morning, so now this farm is behind. May not finish and I really don't care one way or the other.

It's time for me to get myself pasted together and out the door...last day to SELL SELL SELL (if you aren't thinking about the end of the movie Trading Places, I'm doing something wrong).

 

Yes, you can harvest all the required crops and animals from all three lands.

There's just over 2 days left for the event. By the time BP gives us a chance to gift the hourglass, we'll probably only have the chance to gift it for one day...

This event was a good surprise!

Used the buffs+1 animals to do this event + the MM FSQ (the one that asks teddynators and palms)

Alas, that is true, and after my morning harvest of long grow crops, still short of hourglasses in step 6. As this is the only event I'm doing, it would be nice if we could exchange teapets and matcha powder languishing in our barns for hourglasses!

At least my rabbits are all ready to flee their stables when the requisite number of hourglasses are obtained
