Shop of Horrors

This is a 2 weeks long event with three event crops and three event crops all launched on different dates and available for the rest of the event.

This is played on the Mushroom Forest land only. Players who haven't opened it all yet will have a hard time completing it.

Each event crop will feed one specific critter. The critters will give drop items that can be used to advance on the three different levels.

There are three drops that will be needed to shorten the cooldown time of the special tiles that can be found on the three floors:

Each Critter will be fed with a specific amount of event crops:

Tomato You will have to use 365 x Six-string Shrubberies to feed the Spawning Tomato that will pop up on your Mushroom Forest.	Aubreygine You will have to use 305 x Piñatunias to feed the Spawning Aubreygine that will pop up on your Mushroom Forest.	Weasel You will have to use 595 x Greenback Weeds to feed the Spawning Weasel that will pop up on your Mushroom Forest.

Each Tomato fed grants 1 x Tuning Fork guaranteed plus 1 item from the following: 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18 or 20 Gear Coins.	Each Aubreygine fed grants 1 x Fake Teeth guaranteed plus 1 item from the following: 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18 or 20 Gear Coins.	Each Weasel fed grants 1 x Brimstone Pitchfork guaranteed plus 1 item from the following: 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18 or 20 Gear Coins.

There are prizes assigned to a set amount of critter feedings, the droped items that they give in then used to advance on the three floors of the event:

The Tomato can be fed:
16 times to get the giver
19 times to get the top prize (1 Zouwu Lair)

and will give 1 Tuning Fork

The Abreygine can be fed:
19 times for the giver
22 times to get the top prize (1 Cuca's Cottage)

and will give 1 Fake Teeth

The Weasel can be fed:
13 times for the giver
16 times to get top prize (1 Slime Monster Pit IV: Pink)

and will give 1 Brimestone Pitchfork

Yet, the three floors may have more tiles that need the droped item from the critter, meaning that more feedings can be needed:

There will be an Event Shop to spend the Gear Coins won for feeding critters. There are some breeding MM critters offered, also a bonus giver and some decent prizes too.

I know it is a lot of informations to compute, but I'm pretty sure that when the event start and players start feeding the critters, things will become clearer!

Thanks so much Northy...amazing how you put all this together during the time it took me to walk to the shop and back! Love the graphics and those fake teeth are a hoot! All that popcorn is making me hungry and autumn is the perfect time to enjoy some! I doubt I'll do the event, but as always enjoy visiting here to see how everyone's doing. Lots of lovely things going on in the Moonlight world!

My farms are participating. I'll try to remember to send gifts. I'm a little (okay, more than a little) scatterbrained of late.

Thanks, Nordais, for summarizing the event.

One important thing not explained in the English FAQ that must be taken into account to achieve your goals (it is clearly explained in the Italian FAQ, though):

* To access the Greenhouse, you need to get to tile 2 in the Flower Shop --> 8 tiles starting at 16 --> 8 feeds to Tomato, 2920 Six-string Shrubberies;

* The Vault has 2 different chambers, a left one and a right one:
** the RIGHT one is accessible from tile 1 of the Greenhouse; it gives access to tiles 5,6,11,12,15 of the Vault; but these tiles do not include either the CR or an essential item; therefore, you can skip this area altogether if you choose so, saving a lot of seeds and time;
** the LEFT one is accessible from tile 6 in the Flower Shop; this area includes all the rest of the Vault's tiles, including the one that grants the CR.

Bearing this info in mind, one can adjust the effort to put on the event. I'm thinking in particular of people who have not unlocked most Mushroom Forest areas and need to reduce event seeds production to the raw possible minimum.

EDIT: I previously wrote about the two chambers in inverse order. Now correct. LoL.

 

Yes, players can skip some of the tiles to try to get to the cloud row fast, but the givers needed for the cloud row are hidden in the prizes for X amount of feeding the critters. Turns out it doesn't save that much.

Tomato needs to be fed 16 times to get the giver. That means getting 16 Tuning Forks letting players unlock 16 tiles in the flower market however they want but the need to get to the doors. Worst, Aubreygine needs 19 feedings to get the giver, meaning getting 19 Fake Teeth and that will let players open up all of the greenhouse tiles. There is no gain to be made there. The most expensive one is the Weasel which requires 13 feeds to get the giver. That is 13 Brimestone Pitchforks to open 13 tiles in the vault out of the 15 tiles there is. Aiming for tile #8 is the first thing to do to get the cloud row, but not openeing the other section will mean that players will have fed Weasel and not have the option of unlocking tiles for prizes.

 

Just Translated Aluntino´s and Nordais LAST writings AND seems to be DIFFICULT... or not, now just doing plants and getting Drops !

 

I'm sorry Nuubi, but the way the event was made makes it hard to explain. What you need to do:

1) Feed at least sixteen times the "Tomato" character, use the sixteen Tuning Forks to open sixteen tiles in the flower shop. Make sure to open tiles #2 and tile #6.

2) You will need to feed "Aubreygine" charater nineteen times, use the nineteen Fake Teeth to open all the tiles in the greenhouse.

3) You will need to feed the "Weasel" character thirteen times, use the thirteen Brimestone Pitchfork to open thirteen tiles and making sure that you reach tile #8 to get the cloud row.
