Halloween Breakout

On #13 first tower, I don't see any repeats on any of the rows, but it keeps saying I don't have it right. Am I blind, why is this wrong:

There are thin and thick borders, the thick borders make an area, that also needs to have the max numbers of that game. In your case 1,2,3 and 4

 

The best thing for people who don't know how to play Sudoku is to take a picture with their phone and ask AI to solve it.

This event is quickly becoming not fun lol. For those who like sudoku more power to you, that's awesome ~ enjoy, but imo it's irritating and as much as I want the second CR, I might pass.

 

I have managed number 19 (eventually!) and now just have one puzzle left. I have a Pink Slime Pit! One mission accomplished. As Sewing Lady says, anything else is gravy!

I have put 2 offers for Files on the Black Market, the Lamps disappeared but nothing in the inventory yet. Could it be that people are not working out how to do it? I must admit, I believe my lamps have disappeared into the ether cos I can't see them.

Okay, I have found my lots but no buyers yet. Come on, Kerosine Lamps going cheap!

 

not quite sure the market is already working. there are hunderts of offer but not one for the lamp to exchange!!! seams to be the most common item for the players...

 

We all will end up with too much kerosene lamps and no spoons nor tin cups. The way these last few events are put up, I fear that we now have AI generated event and no one to validate them...

 

My black market is overflowing with files, 437 offers at this point, 89 for lamps (but none asks for files in exchange), zero offers for spoons or cups, it's been this way since day one, which is very obviously an event design flaw since there are people already playing the 3rd tower while we have to wait another 4 days to open tower 2 - though I doubt this alone will solve the problem.

I really think there has to be some intervention from the dev team to correct the way the items are distributed among markets and players. Either that or just give away what's missing to everyone who has a surplus from the other items and the required amount of drops.

Anyway, since I often visit but rarely write, a word of thanks to all of you for your comments and @Nordais in particular for the immense help.

 

The black market is an absolute disaster; my transactions still haven’t gone through, and I can’t play the game at all. I’m curious—is there anyone who has managed to complete a transaction using the middle section and actually play the game? Also, a quick reminder: you don’t have much time left to spend your SEASON coins.

 

Blackmarket is definitely glitchy. The purchase buttons aren't active. The Level 1 tower quests are long finished, yet I’m just sitting here waiting for nothing.

 

I've managed to trade enough in the Black Market to get one game in the middle tower, and I'm missing one rusty spoon for the next game. But there's a huge oversupply of lamps on my market, the cups and spoons are absent from offers.

I think we should all be bringing this up on the 'game feedback' thread.

 

I had one taker for my Kerosine Lamp and I am the proud owner of a Spoon! Yay me!

 

The tool my game awarded was knives. I have managed to trade for 2 lamps but still need a spoon to begin the first level of the middle tower. I hope it gets easier before the end of the event.

 

So im really confused. I saw people talking about getting items, but i didnt have any and i had played like 10 games already. so then i bought 20 of them from the shop (Kerosene Lamps) and finished tower 1, saw that it awarded me 2 lamps, but yet my total stock was still 20 lamps. Is 20 a hard cap limit that i missed somewhere in the FAQs? Happy to say i did solve all of the problems without AI, but that last one took a while.

 

I have finished the first tower and have a ton of files but can't find any trades. I entered trades for all the rest but nothing has happened on any of them since I posted.

edit. This block on an event makes me wonder why I still play this game after all these years. So many times the Black Market on an event doesn't work well enough to let you trade with other players and you miss out on finishing the event.

 

This game could have been amazing, but the lack of ability to trade for spoons and cups...for days now...has made me decide to quit.

 

I agree with those who say this one isn't fun.

I should not have tried to farm or work on this event as tired as I was last night. I think mistakes were made. I was exhausted and should have just bagged it and gone to bed.

Okay, so we have to swap stuff with other farmers? yay. i think.

And for those who are having problems with the sudoku mini-games. My DH and I work sudoku every day - together. Even the hard puzzles on Fridays from the Chicago Tribune. So I'd say that I know more than the basics. And these puzzles are NOT normal sudoku. I've seen puzzles like this in those puzzle books you can buy in grocery stores, so I know how they work, but...

So the premise is the same - you want each number in each column and each row - no repeats. But, the little odd shaped boxes also have to have each number, no repeats. Look for "gimmes" each time you start a puzzle. Fill them in, and then work from there. I hope we survive this one.

For the players that are complaining about the Bribe Candie tab dissapearing, just leave unbought Map Pieces. The tab will stay open.

The orange numbers mean that they are repeated in the same shape and the red numbers mean they are in the wrong place.

 

Okay - does anyone receive the tin cups for a completed puzzle? NONE are available on the black market. NONE.

I have checked. All four of my farms that I still play are on market #9. ALL FOUR receive the oil lamp when playing the mini-games. I checked one of my "dead" farms. It's on a different server (can't remember which one). It gets the files.

What a mess. If the black market mess doesn't get straightened out, I'm done. Cannot even begin to play the middle tower.
