Getting very confused. I play 'proper' Sudoku every day. I buy little books and fill in with pencil by hand. These puzzles are completely different and I am struggling. Will have to make an executive decision as to whether to bother after I finish the first tower. I might cut my losses and get back to stocking up with crops to feed all my pens. This is the first event I have done for since the spring and seeing Sudoku drew me in. Easy, thought I. Big mistake, said I. Reading all the above makes me think I will never understand what to do next.

The note function (the icon with a 3x3 grid of squares) allows one to mark possible numbers for a box.

They should introduce a button to clear all the grid. The sudokus in Tower 3 are getting harder and harder, I'm using the maps to unveil a number just to fast track this.

This is easily the most confusing, annoying, and time-consuming event in ages—for me, it tops them all. Sudoku with a twist?o_O why just to annoy us:(. I was so looking forward to it, but now I’m totally spent and not even sure I’ll continue. I completely agree with Northy: a clear button would have made this way less aggravating. Good luck everyone!

Anyone paid attention to the first sentence the racoon character in the bottom left corner of the event window is saying?! Hmmm, was it a warning??!! -.-o_O:wuerg:xD

Reba - Thank you! I finally figured this out late yesterday. Sometimes my brainz aren't functional. No wonder DH's nickname for me is Pinky (as in Pinky and the Brain).

SL's farm has completed the middle tower through level 10. This farm has completed it through level 6. I got moar brainz yesterday when I figured out that the puzzles are the same for everyone (somehow I thought they weren't) and so now when SL's farm finishes a puzzle I can take a picture with my phone so it's a no-brainer (pun intended) for PM23's farm. Yeesh.

Can hardly wait to see how awful the puzzles are on the right side tower starting tomorrow.

    Hello!
Upload a picture, we'll help you.

To help upload an image @Othep:
    1.
Press the Print Screen (PrnScr, prt sc) key on your keyboard. This is somewhere in the top row, on the right. Instead of Print Sreen, it is also good to select the image part with Snipping Tool.
    2.
In your browser, open the kepkuldes.com page.
    3. From here, click on the Start Upload button.
    4. Press a Ctrl-V key combination on your keyboard. Your saved image will then appear in miniature.
    5. Click Upload.
    6.
Once you have it (you have to wait a bit), scroll down a bit until you see the Paste Codes section. Here, hover your mouse over the Image URL field. A Copy button will appear on the right side of the field. Press this, so the link to the image will be saved to the clipboard (i.e. the machine will remember it in memory).
    7. The easiest way is to paste the link you put on the clipboard into your comment (Ctrl-V).

I solved the first tower and a few levels in the middle tower fine but needed to look up a sudoku spoiler solver to get the middle tower to 10.

If anyone happens to have already played the TOWER that opened TODAY, could you tell me:

In which tower are the levels HARDER:
the one where you pay with "goods" - - - or - - - the one where you pay with the SECOND event plant (opened today)?

Because the one where you pay with goods is already SUPER DIFFICULT!

The middle tower is ugly hard. SL's farm is half way through. DH is helping me. THAT's how awful they are.

I've decided I've spent all that I want to on this event, so doing the second half the broke way.

The tower that opened today starts easy, 4x4. The first 2 are 4x4 and very simple to solve. I figure it will be like the first tower and get progressively more difficult. I have to grow more flowers to know when it gets harder

I just managed to finish a real stinker in the second tower (number 10), thought I was going to have to give in. But by slowly going through, using the notepad, checking against the horizontal and vertical numbers, and just generally not going at it like the proverbial bull in a china shop, I did it. :inlove:
I have completed 10 puzzles and now I am out of all the things I need to play but I am really hoping these puzzles don't get harder. :wuerg:

I am trying to get the crops for the third tower as quickly as possible as we are flying home(ish) on Saturday and I want to get some games under my belt cos we will be travelling a lot most of the rest of the event. Even so, I didn't expect to get this far so I am happy. I have one of the pink pens, if I don't, I will get the other by breeding at a later date. :p
Good luck all! I am really hoping that this looked harder than it actually is (apart from those darn puzzles!). :music:

What is DH? maybe H=help? But what D means :) DH = is that something we all have and can/like to use to help?

Now over 20000 sencond Event plant "poor" bonuses:

4x +100% from Party Wheel, Gold place +100% plants and +200% in Diamond place,

I like to have A LOT of time to do, that MIDDLE Tower
, done 3 levels so far...

DH = Dear Husband or something like that, her husband is helping her.

The sudokus in the middle tower are the same for everyone, so you can solve 1, take a picture with your phone and share it with your family members. I use the Map Pieces in that specific tower.

I'm guessing that the sudokus in Tower 2 will be about the same difficulty as the ones in Tower 1.

WOW ! So many thanks, better if You could you also explain how the numbering in your images works? I mean, obviously there’s no "tower zero"—there is a "tower 1," but it doesn't have that many fields...

Or is it intentional that the solutions are presented without specifying exactly what goes where? I assume the goal isn't to provide guidance that leaves too much room for guesswork...

For instance, images 1-3 and 1-4 seem to be based on the same "starting" puzzle—the solutions are identical, except that in one version some of the numbers are red, while in the other they aren't. What I mean is that the base layout—the pre-filled numbers—is the same in both, as are the "special patterns"...

Wait a minute—it looks like you’re from the same country as me; we’re practically neighbors! In that case, I’ll send a follow-up question in our own native language... via a private message in the game.

Barbari, I can tell by the puzzle 0-31 colors that someone found the same sudoku spoiler page I found. You adjust the colors to fit the pattern of boxes, fill in the numbers given and hit solve. Then use it to fill in the puzzle in game. I don't have a way to get pictures to post on here and don't think I can put the link to the site in here so have just alluded to the site name in a few posts. That site makes even the hard puzzles doable in just a few minutes to get it setup and then fill in the game.

I have solved all of first tower, 12 puzzles of the middle and 5 puzzles of the right tower. Some of them have been very time consuming. I love puzzles and Sudoku is a favorite game of mine. Perhaps it is just because I'm tired, but some of them are hard enough that I take a break and come back to it. I have used a lot of maps to fill in numbers just to help move things along.

I just used a puzzle solver to do puzzle 12 of the middle tower as I just couldn't do it on my own. I used 20 maps but there were still too many blank spaces that offered too many alternatives that I was just ready to be done.

I would also prefer that we could have some puzzles needing drops rather than crops. It seems useless and only an added extra step that I have to 'buy' with drops event items that I already won by completing the puzzle.

Good luck to everyone. Thanks for posting. It helps coming back from days spent with Dad so I can wrap my head around what I need to do.
