Dragon Keep Secrets

The mystery seed event has changed forms and now relies on drops, growing the event crops for donations. The biggest changes: no more selling harvested crops in the market and no timer!

This will be played it three steps:

1) Filling in donations to unlock mini-games
2) Playing a mini-game to get ancient seeds
3) Grow ancient seeds

Here are the event's items:

Glass Shard You will get these drops when harvesting your crops and trees on the main field and green meadow only! You have a small chance of receiving 3 x Glass Shards with each breeding process completed.	Epoxy Glue You will get these drops when harvesting your crops and trees on the main field and green meadow only! You have a medium chance of receiving 2 x Epoxy Glue with each breeding process completed.	Water berry seed planted Time: 10 hours Gives (2x2): 400 EP Plantable on the Main Field and Green Meadow only!	Valley rose seed planted Time: 15 hours Gives (2x2): 600 EP Plantable on the Main Field and Green Meadow only!	Prickly fungus seed planted Time: 8 hours Gives (2x2): 320 EP Plantable on the Main Field and Green Meadow only!

Step 1: Filling donations

There are 25 donations that need to be filled. Each donation will unlock two mini-games. That makes a total of 50 mini-games to be played. Here are the total:

729 Glass Shards
899 Epoxy Glue
192 500 barn value worth of mainland crops
231 000 barn value worth of mailand animals
82 500 barn value worth of mainland tree fruits
154 000 barn value worth of breeding animals
154 000 barn value worth of mainland products
220 000 barn value worth of mainland crops & tree fruits (as players wish)

Players may have to donate a little more, the totals above are from a tally of at least two different donations per category.


Step 2: Playing the mini-games

Players will need to solve puzzles with different shaped pieces that fit on the board. It is like a Tetris style game but without the pieces falling from above.

Each mini-game will reward ancient seeds' bags which will be used in step 3. If players complete all 50 mini-games, they will receive:

1160 Prickly Fungus Seeds
741 Water Berry Seeds
1389 Valley Rose Seeds

The seeds cannot be donated and can only be sowed to grow the required event crops for donations in step 3.


Step 3: Growing ancient seeds

The trickiest part of the event is growing enough of each event crops to donate to the task list. The event crop harvested from sowing seeds cannot be sowed again.

They are 30 donations to be filled with event crops. To get the cloud row and its givers, players must complete 22 donations.

The numbers bellow is factoring in the maximum seeds awarded in step 2:

The FAQ suggests using 2x2 plots to grow the event crops. That means being able to sow 88 2x2 plots per harvest. To completely use all of the seeds (3290 seeds in total), that means over 37 full harvests (3290 seeds / 88 plots/harvest = 37.39 harvests)!

This also means that some super-grow and Suzy's super-grow will be needed to cross the finish line or else some 100% or 200% buffs in the Gold and/or Diamond slots.

There are bonuses awarded to reduce time growth of seeds by 50% and they will start as soon as players win them. The Cloud Row introduces a new Crate O' Fertilizers V.

Dear Northy, How do you manage to do this? No idea, but as others have commented, you are the best at what you do! I shall cheer on everyone and totally give this a skip and focus on the more easy tasks for me: Season, EV, and Baha's new crops. Now that Moonlight area is resting, I'll plod along like the cow I see on my login screen.

I'm with David. I'm ignoring this one. I'm on overload right now. I keep making stupid mistakes on my farms because I'm trying to do too much.

 

I'm still undecided. Haven't prepared my fields as it was bedtime directly after the sudoku event ended (which I couldn't finish). Wisest thing would be to ignore it...

OK, I tell to Anki74 and now I know it myself too

AND the firts step is get some "glass Shard´s " and donate 25 of those... Sadly without reading and notising anything I collect my over-night-plants in Finnish time 14.08 and event starts 15.00, blaah ! --> Zero drops

You can go and do instant crops to get some drops. The drop rates are not that good, my baby farm got 101 Glass Shards from a full field of 202 Amaranth... My main farm is fine because of all the clous rows that boost drops.

Hi guys, just be careful with the donations; the event requirements in FAQ do not match what the game requests on the bottom LHS...all the donatios are jacked up, I wonder why? Seeds are so hard to come by, then why? Surely it is a glitchGood luck to everyone!!!

Decided to do the event after all, even though I had a low drop start due to unprepared fields. I bred a few animals and increased my glass drops. I like the mini games and now have the initial seeds to start planting.
