Of all farmerama mini events I like most the Mystery Seedlings. It is fun waiting to see what will the mystery seedling will become.

 

hmm,... I like the event too, I just don't like the price of them. Being level 93, then paying 5bb for ONE seedling... and then getting an xl cherry tree. (completely useless at that level) .... that does NOT make me happy.

But, all in all, the event itself can be fun... IF you get a good result.

 

i thought the event was good for me, got some rare trees, i think they should make different seedlings to get different trees so high leveled players cant get useless trees. Maybe different price points for different trees?

 

Not a bad idea. Low level trees, 1bb per seedling.
mid level trees, 3bb per seedling.
High level trees 5bb per seedling.

Super special trees 6bb. (but then I'd have to be sure of my parrotfeather tree, or the newest rare ones... )

 

I like that event too but unfortunately I don't have always bb Well, I always recived great trees and that is great

 

Of all the mini events, the most fun are the G&T event; mystery seedling and mystery stable, followed by MM.
G&T is a great advertisement for the farmerama community, with good trading and giving items to lower level players.
The mystery events are expensive for some players and sometimes players forget that it is a game of chance and we cannot always win what we want. They then complain, which is unnecessary as, assuming the results are truly random, it is a lottery they have entered into. Perhaps BP could clarify how the results are selected, to put the minds at rest of those that question how loaded the results are ?
MM has great graphics and is a fun concept - perhaps it is getting a bit mundane now and needs an uplift ?

 

I like your suggestion, I hope BP is looking & reading some of our comments/suggestions.

I think also this will stop players from complaining about their results.

But doesn't this take half the mystery out of 'mystery seedlings'?

Why not just eliminate levels of trees instead - such as no regular or XL trees, only XXL, for higher levels. That way we all still get chances at highest level and rarest trees, even those who are lower level or short on BB's or are saving them for the Baby Boom. Surely this would keep the excitement in, for ALL levels, and the price the same for ALL.
And keep it simple.
This is a favorite event for so many of us...why change it other than to fix the 'bugs' or to keep it more evenly fair?

I don't know what level this is considered, but I am level 86, if any of you farmers out there would like a reference point.

 

Mystery seedlings are indeed too expensive to waste hard-earned BBs just to get the usual trees.
NOT a good trade.

 

Tomorrow will start a Happy Harvest Day mini event the exact date that comic#5 will begin.
I really don't like that they are in the same day because when we are in an event we plant the new seed and not the one with the more EP giving.

 

New flower mini event ??? that gets stupid now I haven't seen the tulip on my wheel yet !!!!

Just to comment on the current 'secret seedlings' mini event. This a favourite event, along with 'mystery stables'. One big gripe - why change the names to 'Wonder', what a rubbish change ! The meaning of 'wonder' is : something that arouses awe, astonishment, surprise, or admiration; a marvel. OK it can mean surprise but to me it sounds like Alice in wonderland, childish in fact in the context of these mini events, when the majority of those playing are adults.

 

I love the twin breeding event!

 

My favorite right now is the baby boom.
I also like moonlight madness and the secret seedling/stable events. I have had decent luck with seedlings... generally get one good one for every one I could do without, My luck on the stables is not so great, but still OK.


EDIT--- revising my opinion. It seems my prior experience with seedlings was a fluke.. or maybe the Baharama algorithm is different from the "main" one? Anyway, I would say that people should expect at least 1 GOOD tree out of 4. If you cannot do that, then don't offer them as a prize!

 

I'm disappointed in the direction the Mystery Seedlings are going..who cares for XXL Elderberry and XXL Lemons..?? Telling me that no one could come up with the idea of maybe making XXL Sugar Trees...? Or Mandrake and Herbal Elixir Trees...?...we actually always use those in the Factory's...I'm aware different people have different styles of playing, but those we always need as it's part of the "farming set-up"... What's even worse now is the fact that Sugar and Salt Trees have been removed from the Mystery Seedlings...that's the only reason I've been buying Mystery Seedlings as I can't afford to buy the Artisan Ingredients with BB's and heaven know's I have no space for anymore trees but I'll always make a plan for a Salt or Sugar Tree......or is the BP Dev's coming up with a new "mini event" where we buy "Seedlings/boxes" and we "wonder" if it's 5 Salt or Sugar or Mandrake..?

 

I am one who can't purchase barnyard bill's and rely on movies to earn mine. It seems pretty coincidental that EVERY time there is a mini event involving bb's, the theatre starts showing a ton more movies that don't give bb's or "no video available" pops up. Yes yes yes, I know....mods have no control over this and I understand that. And yes, I know, I should be grateful to see one movie as others have none. So why am I whining? Because right now it makes me feel better because it's frustrating and just too coincidental to ignore. Please don't (blank) in my ear and tell me it's raining!!

 

I feel for you as I'm in the same boat...it's a fortune to participate in these BB Events as I've a currency of 10:1.. I'm lucky if I can just get my Harvester Helper and/or Mill....I was so happy when we also received the Cinema as that would allow me the odd participation in some of the Events, but I haven't seen a Movie in my Cinema in well over a Month... ...on both my Farms..
