For me so far the Festivus strategy is working.
Feats of Strength on the Mach-O-Meter xD

I stink at the guess which chest holds the magic key. I usually can only get 1 chip. My best game is the groundhog but so much clicking hurts my hands after just a few tries. I average 3-5 chips per game. My strategy was to ask (nicely) my teenage son to play for me. He is able to get 10 chips fairly often. I am very pleased with his progress. I hope the live test is successful so BP will launch this mini event more often.

I have 804 chips and I think over the half of them are from the Loot Shoot!
I have been very lucky but now I have 10 tickets and I am not sure which games I should play...

I have revised my opinion. My favorite is now mach-o-meter. My strategy is to put my finger on the screen at the place where I want to let go of the mouse button. It works a lot better than before, now I rarely get less than four, and quite often 5 or 6. My average is 4.2, which is not very impressive, but I'm happy with it :)

That's very impressive! When I think I have done well I get 4 chips xD

My favorite game is the mach-o-meter. My strategy for it is:
Round 1: Hold the mouse and release it when it is in the center of the bar.
Round 2: Hold the mouse and release it when it is one space away from the center of the bar
Round 3: Hold the mouse and and wait till it gets to one side of the bar and as soon as it starts heading back release the mouse.

I normally get 5 chips each go, sometimes i get lucky and get more.

So what is the strategy for Loot Shoot ?
I've looked for physical indicators and by all rules its a sucker game.

I don't think there is any. I think it is purely a game a chance :music:

    Thank you -Niknar-!!

I had these instructions bookmarked on the old forum and used them at every Renzo’s, but never thought of copying them, and – surprise- I couldn't for the life of me remember how to do it yesterday.

Thanks for posting them again :)

If you use a touchscreen device, do whack-a-mole. I have a touchscreen laptop and can usually win between 6 and 12 (usually 10) chips per ticket. Hence I made the decision to spend 55 (I think) BB on 75 tickets, since I know how to convert them well - I'm usually very frugal.

Thanks Niknar for tips on mach-o-meter. I'll definitely try them next time. ;)

My favorite is Whack-A-Mole. Best score is 1810 points and I've managed to win 10 chips multiple times
So, these are some tips, first couple of guidelines:
    - don't try to hit them all !!! - you'll never make it, and only got yourself tensed
    - main point is not so much to keep bonus on max. of 40, but to keep the "chain" of hits (not to reset it to 0)

    practically:
    1) Moles come in waves, between 2, keep crossbar above middle hole, that way, you can move swiftly in any direction
    2) When they start coming in larger groups (and faster), aim for group of 2-3 close to each other (corner-shape, or side line)
    3) Never try to smack more then 3 in succession, you'll most likely miss the last and lose bonuses
    3) Even when mole start going back to the ground, when you swing the hammer, you can score a "hit" but use that only in the beginning, when they are slow; later, it is better to pass, and hit what you are certain of

Ariel, I will be aiming firstly to open the confectionery. Being a player who doesn't spend RL money on this game under any circumstances, I've so far only been able to open one artisan trade. Aiming for the spa with my stars, but confectionery with Renzo.

    Good morning!! :)

My favourite game is the Mach-O-Meter! :)
I don't use any strategies, I just play and win the 5-6 chips/round...
I'm indescribably happy about the new rewarding system cause I'll get 15-20 chips/round!! :)

I wanna get the GBs of course but if I can't, I'll buy just the powerfeed... or if there's any good new thing in the shop, I'll buy it maybe... :)

    Good Luck! :)

I've worked out that with the bonus 5 (is it 5?) free tickets each day of the event, I will need to average between 10 and 11 chips per ticket, 12 if I want to be safe, in order to open another artisan trade. I'm therefore guessing it won't be until the event after this one that I open my confectionery - but you never know! If I stick to whack-a-mole I should be able to get pretty close to that, and then it won't take too long with the next event to open my next artisan trade.

EDIT: Good news! I opened the artisan trade this event (with a minor hiccup in between). Averaged probably around 15 chips per ticket (too overwhelmed to calculate) but I have opened the confectionery!

Quite a few things have changed (for the better I may add :D) with this edition of Renzo :) I will try to make an overview.
    • The most obvious is that a few prizes have been exchanged in the shop, see the FAQ
    • The rewards for playing whack-a-mole and mach-o-meter have increased.
    • It seems like the rewards for playing loot-shoot have decreased, but the number of tickets needed is also lower, so it is actually more rewarding!
    More on loot-shoot:
    • Standard version now requires 1 ticket (previously 2)
    • Easier version now requires 2 tickets (previously 6)
    • Playing the standard version you can expect to win 2.8 chips (meaning if you play a lot, your average will probably be close to this). You may of course be lucky and win more, or unlucky and win less.
    • Playing the easier version you can expect to win 6.5 chips (3.25 per ticket), the above remarks apply.
The rewards of playing loot-shoot have improved, but not as much as for the other two games. You can expect to win around 3 chips per ticket by playing loot-shoot, but on average I win 15 chips playing mach-o-meter. A bad round of mach-o-meter gives me 9 chips, and when I really mess up I get 3 chips. So for me, loot-shoot is a very bad deal. The pirate is just out to rob me of my tickets!

    How good are the prizes?
If you don't buy any tickets, the prizes are for free and you should enjoy the ones you can get :D But what if you buy some tickets?

Say you buy 150 tickets for 100BB, and that you on average get 15 chips for each ticket. How many BB are you "paying" for the items?
The formula to calculate it is the following (color coded for your convenience :p):
(#chips to buy the item)/(15*150/100)= (#chips to buy the item)/22.5
If you have an other average and/or buy another package of tickets, just change the numbers accordingly

With these numbers, the prizes cost the following:

    • Dragon pet 1000 chips: 45 BB (1000/22.5=45)
    • Crafting slot 1250 chips: 56 BB
    • 5 Golden bananas 850 chips: 38 BB
    • 48h harvester coupon 400 chips: 18 BB
    • Juggling dragon 350 chips: 16 BB
    • XXL Rowan tree 350 chips: 16 BB
    • Mole stable 250 chips: 11 BB
    • 10 stars 175 chips: 8 BB
    • 10k BEP 150 chips: 7 BB
    • 25 power feed 85 chips: 4 BB
    • 25 suzy's super grow 85 chips: 4 BB
    • 25 super grow 32 chips: 1.5 BB
For me, the best offers are definitely the dragon pet and the power feed :inlove: Note that the three top prizes can only be bought once. The other prizes can be bought once per fair :)

Good luck to all, and hope you enjoy the fair!
