I would be lovely to have a button we could save our farm to before we delete everything for an event. At the end of the event, we could just click once and all our trees, pens etc would be put back in place. It takes forever to put everything back, even with the help of the Builder.
Perhaps it could be a Rune on the tree we could work towards.

Excellent idea! The builder is great for feeding etc but it doesn't seem to know how I like my farm to look. I would lurve it to revert to my normal at the click (or even two or three) of a mouse. :music:

Great idea! I change my farm constantly depending on need but if it was possible to say take a pic of your farm at any given time and it could be put back to that pic would make farm life sooo much easier! (Especially with all these events atm!!!) Long as we could change it as and when needed!

I like this A LOT, though the humorous side of me notes that it might make me lazy. Even though I don't always put the farm back exactly the same after an event, it would help not to have to change EVERYTHING.

It was not such a big issue back when I had mostly regular pens, and could just switch around 20-30 of each in rotation (using the builder), but now that I have all the rare pens and multiple rare trees, even a few pink pens, I have to place each individually. I love having all that "stuff," but it can be a real pain (takes a fair amount of time, even with Builder) to put everything back.

I don't think it would be obligatory to use the Button - you can always put the farm back how you want but I sometimes want to put it back as it was! :) Alternatively you could put it back with the Button then change a few things.

lol.. yes, my comment was more that I would use it.. perhaps to my detriment

I have no real objection, though.

Forever, usually only takes me 30 minutes or so. Per farm. The builder is 3 bb or 1 if you got it on sale. That's 6 hours to quick build. How do you know you want to put your farm field back the way it was before. Maybe you want a different setup? I don't really see how it would work. What if there was 2 events going on together?

Neil35, what we're saying is have the option to put it back how it was, not it has to go back how it was. With the events so close together atm you only just get everything back out again for a day or two then it's all away to make room for event crops (in the main, not all, I know). Not everyone buys BB's so they have to do it manually and it is tedious when you've spent ages putting it all back out only to have to remove it again a day or so later.

I really hate pulling my farm apart for every event - I sometimes only change two fields so it is pretty heavy going trying to do enough event crops - just so I don't have to put everything back. :sleepy:

I don't always put it back exactly but I also try to put out the things I need more of so it is pretty much the same as before. It's mainly the trees that I would like to go back in the same position. I don't like big trees in the forefront but when I am putting them out, I forget which ones are bigger and which fruits I need more of! I have to keep going to my barn to check ... very time consuming.

So a reset button, optional of course, would be really cool in my opinion. :music:

    8) Brilliant idea, farmerumf!!:D:inlove: Soooo many times I've wanted to do that very thing! A simple button to click to take a picture, do the Event, then click again to restore it, is just perfect in its simplicity! Once it's restored one is free to make any changes one wishes - just like before. And all changes are photographed the next time you want to 'remove and restore' because it's a new photo each time!
    Brilliant, farmrumf....just perfect!!!:inlove::inlove::inlove: Please BP - we need this!!:D:D

EDIT -- thank you [whomever mod??] for finding and combining the threads.

I know this has been suggested before, but I could not find it in the first 8 pages of suggestions, nor with the search query.

Let player "save" the arrangement of pens/field crops, etc. This could be a reward for reaching a certain high level, a bonus that could be purchased or won, an item that could be earned through a rune or even as a farm quest reward.

A lot of us have a more or less consistent "standard" way we lay out our farms when there are no events. When events come around, we have to delete everything and then reset it again after the event is over. When events were only once a month or so that was not such a big deal, but now it is getting to be a time-consuming royal pain.

    PLEASE consider this!!!

I would like a Save Button too.

This or something like this (even just "add one of each" option for the builder) is more critical than ever with all these events!

Farming is getting too much like work instead of fun!

no one is suggesting this be automatic, its just that many of us would like the option to save a configuration.
