Okay, after a bit of a delay and consulting with the judges, it has been decided that I need to clarify what constitutes an entry. First, I'd like to apologize for not being clear and concise in defining create. An image that has been copied and pasted does not constitute a creation, as it is simply, well, copied and pasted. However, if you, for example, took 2 images from the internet. Alone they would not qualify, as they are not your creations. But if you frankenstein them, that is, combine parts of one and parts of the other to create a new 3rd image, that would be considered your own creation. This option is great for those who understand the use of the creation programs such as photoshop, photobucket and gimp, but not so good for those of us who are not quite so computer literate. For us, then, are other alternatives. You can draw a costume. Create one from mix and match pictures cut from magazines. Make a clay figurine. I'm sure there are many other creative avenues, whatever works for you, as long as it is made by you. Then simply scan it onto your computer (or take a photo and upload it if you don't have a scanner) and viola! You've got a valid entry. Don't forget, you can also use photos of real costumes, so if you have a particularly awesome costume you or a member of your family will be wearing for Halloween, share it with us! Just remember to be sure it complies with forum rules by not showing faces. To keep within the parameters of being created by you, the costume must be worn by someone in your immediate family, for example your kids. In re-reading my initial post, I realize I wasn't clear on that. Entries may be animated.

I apologize again for any confusion caused by my inability to clearly state my thoughts. I want everyone to have fun with this, causing stress and frustration was not my intent . If anyone has any concerns or questions regarding the contest, or wants further clarification, please, bring them to my attention so that I may fix them. In the meantime, I hope you will accept and enjoy these party favors as a small token of my desire that everyone enjoy themselves. My mummy helped me make them .

(regarding my costume, I did indeed copy and paste it. However, I am ineligible for consideration of prizes, being as I'm the host and a judge, so I will leave it as is .)

(Impossible to get all best animations at the same time, so eventually I gave up)

Thanks Mir and Ariel, your kindness is much appreciated . I find myself apologizing once again for my absences from the thread, have been exceedingly busy and AFK the last week. Deliberations are being made on everyone's wonderful entries, and I want to thank each and every one of you who took the time and effort to enter a costume. In my last message I forgot to open voting for farmer's choice award. Votes may be cast until, let's say, Sunday. If you wish your vote to remain anonymous, you may feel free to IGM me with your choice for best overall costume. Remember, only one vote per farmer.
