You'll do well: you seem to be right on track.

Regarding windmill sails: I really don't think there's anything anyone with normal activity (I mean, those who can do it regularly, with no to little blank periods) should worry about. As Mir already explained, watered, if you have the workshops time-cutting rune active, they take just 03:14 -thanks, Poppy, for the correction; see below- to get ready. So, whomever went through task1 must have enough (maybe more than enough) of both of the event's crops and drops to get task2 completed immediately after having finished task1 and thus getting the 3 needed blueprints right away; tools should not be a problem for anyone. From then onwards, those 03:14 match pretty well with all rounds you may need to do of the 4hs-event crop (watered, 03:12), which is the one everyone should be planting during the day, while around (until, of course, getting to the requested total), leaving the 8hs-event crop to overnights. It's only 11 rounds of the sails factory we need. It doesn't seem to be a big deal if someone is pretty regularly around. We still have near to 5 days left....

 

Alright, I just nosed my plane over for a bombing run on "The Deal".
My first 4 hour crop gave me 14744.
I followed Mooboy/AJJG's advice... Then looked at my Buff's... Even with the paper telling me what to do.
I forgot to take a CAC ! *face palm*

 

On this farm, I harvested four fields of Poppies with ZAB, EM and CB with one Owl and got 20,763 EP (only 186 lights so far but still within the average daily requirement).

On Chevrefeuille, four fields also but EM, SW and CB, no Owl, I got 15,598. 181 lights so far.

Will be harvesting four fields of Sneezewort soon so hopefully, if I am about halfway, I will be on target.

Bhodo: You said you'd never seen any of those flowers - be careful what you wish for!

 

I finished tasks 1 and 2 this morning. If anyone is looking for the sail shops, you have to go the the workshop in the city to build it. The icon for the mole is just beside the chicken. The sail shop takes 3:14 watered with rune active. Good luck everyone!

 

Even better I forgot it's a workshop and that both runes work on it

I've got my Sail Shops out and started. Last batch of Sneezewort in the ground now then just have to finish all the Poppies

I just sold all of my poo on both farms (not much unfortunately but too good a selling price to miss!)

 

In the 2+ years of playing, I have never seen manure that high! I am still in the middle of the timed quest on both farms, otherwise, I would break out the chickens!

 

I saw this and looked... 400 CCs !!!
So I sold a hundred... let's see if anyone buys that !

 

Too true PnP! I think this is an indication of farmers' determination!

I'm on your same boat. But first 4hs-crop harvest yielded 16,2K EPs to be counted for, so I'll be done with task1 in 3 hours: chickens and ClassicII parrots, monkeys, elephants, sloths and anacondas will carpet as much as possible afterwards...... (I only had 114 poos: I sold them at 529,10 a piece....).

Wow, That price must be at or near a new high since I started this game.
I tried to build up a supply of poo and "storing" 200-200 units at a ridiculous price before the event.
It worked to a fault, but I used it all during the build up of seeds.

 

Poor Banjo....many(if not all of us) have done this...so don't feel too bad.
Poo is at an all time high!!! I too wish I could farm chickens now...but all fields are filled with sneezewort!

How many sailshops can we build??? 3....I don't want to use up more than I have to. I am completely relying on all your great advice. Thanks!

Um, my timer just randomly stopped on its own on MissSmartyPants. What the heck?! I got the "you did it, be proud of yourself" reward sign...with only 1 ticket, etc. b/c I've only done one harvest!

 

Okay, second harvest (first of Sneezewort though) and the results are:

Illy1996 - 18,719 (34677 total EP) and 221 light strings

Chevrefeuille - 10,815 (total 26,413) EP and 210 light strings

So definitely will finish it in time tomorrow morning before I have to leave for work. Wahoo! Of course, that is barring all disasters ... we know they are possible!

 

There was a problem yesterday, now it has reappeared. They are working to fix it. There is nothing to do, except wait and reload the game from time to time to see if it reappears.

 

Well, I have been paralyzed to start but have taken all of your wonderful advice offered here and have completed a step by step guide for myself with appropriate pets, etc. I will start the timed part tomorrow morning, but otherwise am growing event crop like crazy so I will be on track for total requirements still.

A huge Thank You to everyone who has patiently explained to everyone else, how to calculate plots and EP properly for the first step. Without your knowledge and expertise, I would have never even attempted this event. And I really want that disguise shop!!

Mir - say it ain't so. I have been slowly building stocks of animals and crops, as my farm becomes more "mature" and "stable." I have not tackled products yet. I was saving them for last.
